So I'm using a pokemon with choice specs right? And I'm sweeping 95 percent of my opponents in 1 hit right?

Well I get to the frontier brain and I didn't kill it one hit, so it put me to sleep, and while sleeping it used Focus punch and got a critical hit....

After 49 consecutive wins back to back in what ever it was that I was doing (1v1 battles) there was nothing I could have done to prevent that loss short of having predicted the exact status effect it was going to use and equipped accordingly 10 fights in advance... freaking awesome huh?

I'm so drunk and pissed right now. crying

My stupid strategy guide doesn't have any of the information on it and Serebii is lacking in information as well so there's limited preparation I can do ahead of time.

Oh, are you talking about the Battle Hall? It doesn't take long to get back there. Just keep trying. I was lucky though. When she versed me, she used a Tentacruel, and it made me lol. If you want the silver print, my advice would be to do all the easy ones first, and after battling her, start over but choose the harder ones first. That's only if you want the silver print that bad.

Actually since I'm using a Kingdra only Dragon types are able to deal super effective damage with STAB. So they're all I worry about. Well... until just now.

I was up in battle 62 and having no issues. Then I came across a Shedninja. I always though bugs were weak to Ice attacks. I guess that's because normally I used Icebeam on flying bugs and didn't realize that regular bugs weren't weak against them. crying

So I'm going to have to give my Kingdra another move and then I'll slaughter the bugs first, then dragons. Stupid freaking Shedninja.

*edit* decided to take out ghost second so that I can prevent getting a Shedninja in the last rounds crying

I hate that shedninja. I don't use fire type attack much or rock, or Ghost, or flying unless they get stab or need it to cover their weaknesses. So now only a few of the pokemon I have can take out the ranks of the bugs and ghosts. I'd have to give Kingdra the move bounce. I'll probably delete surf, then move tutor bounce on him, then put surf back on once I take out all those stupid shedninjas.

Electrivire is doing wonderful. Gonna have to use a second Electrivire with a fire punch to take out Shedninja though. Shedninja is a freaking show stopper in this stuff.

I wonder if there are any pokemon that can't beat him. But most pokemon have to learn a move specifically to beat him. My kingdra is a special attacker so having a physical move like bounce isn't very good. Maybe if he has to fight against a special wall but I don't know how well bounce will work out in the long run competitively. *sigh*

I guess it's not that big of a deal, but it's a pain. This is why I don't level stuff up to 100. Incase I need some leeway or even need to redistribute some EVS.

I lost first time I went up against her too. Used a Probopass on my shiny Charizard. I missed with Focus Blast and it OHKO'd me with Power Gem (I think). After beating another 49 people and getting to her again, she used Regirock. This time I OHKO'd it with a successful Focus Blast. Currently I've got a 120 win streak with my Charizard. God I'm gonna hate getting to 170. Rock types are not fun.

When going up against rock types there's a lens. I don't know if it's Wide Lens or what... but it gives you a total of a 10 percent boost. So if you have it on your shiny Charmander and you attack with Focus Blast it'll boost that by about 8 88 percent chance instead of an 80 percent. I don't know how much that'll help out but might be worth a shot right? Unless you have to keep what ever item you currently have on instead.

Any reason you can't throw on Earth Quake into a move you can easily regain? Or you could try training a second Charizard to cover the types that your Shiny one has problems with so you don't have to deal with everything with only 8 moves or touch your competitive Shiny.

My Charizard actually happens to be a Choice Specs user. Which of course is pretty useful in the Hall since you never have to worry about something coming in that resists your chosen attack. I may choose to train another, but probably the main problem is just if my Charizard can't OHKO whatever I'm against.

Ya I almost got destroyed by a Weavile in almost the 100s area. It was fight 99 and I was up against a weavile. It attacked first, I attacked second, it did over 50 percent damage to me with Ice Punch I did 70 percent damage to it with Thunder Punch. It did night slash and left me with 4HP when i thought i was dead, and my Thunder Punch killed it. O____o

Then I went up against a Piloswine who survived a super effective cross chop with Expert Belt on, and if not for earthquake I would have died.

I'm gonna have to train a second Electrivire though. one with Fire Punch or there's no way I'm going to finish the last few stretches. I'm kinda worried about the fighting pokemon. I'll have to take off Expert Belt since I can't do any super effectives on them.

At the moment my total win streak is 188

Aren't there only 170 trainers though?

There's 10 for every pokemon type. I forget if there are 17 or 18 types.

My battle record is 234.

You have to talk to the girl to the right of the machine that holds your stats. She adds up each different pokemon and based on your win streak with ALL your pokemon you get BP for your win streak.

Every 50 or so you get more BP so far. I got some at 50-100-150-200 and again at 250.

So if you get 100 with a Lucario, and 80 with a Dragonite you'll have 180 win streak.

Since I just lost against a stupid Exegutor crying due to a cheap shot... I'll try with my Magmortar.

Basically what happened was that I attacked with Ice Punch, and it had too little life than I could see. I thought it died, but it got powered up from a freaking Liechi Berry did a Wood Hammer got a freaking critical, and both of them fainted... ?_? I shouldn't have gotten a penalty for that crying

My Electivire was EV trained, using a super effective attack, and had a choice band. There was no way I could have possibly prevented that unlucky circumstance. Well... maybe if I did a weaker attack it might not have gotten the boost from the berry. But doesn't that berry raise special attack?

I'm confused. ?_?

What ever, time to start streaking with a different pokemon.

There are 17 types. Don't know my total streak, but I've only used two Pokemon anyways, and my original T-tar ended as a miserable failure. My new one, however, has yet to go. And Liechi Berry raises Attack. So that thing pretty much screwed you.

Ya guess that was it. You can check your stats by going to the machine to the right of the people you talk to before you battle. You click the computer, check the letter of the alphabet they are, and then it says all the pokemon you've battled with in the category you chose. (Singles, doubles, multi, etc...)

I went and did the Rental stuff at the Battle Factory, and I had no problems through most of it. Then I got to the Frontier Brain for that section and he pursuited my Pokemon using U-turn, then he was beaten by my Blastoise, then his swampart finished off my Blastoise, and then Ivysaur didn't attack fast enough or survive swamperts earthquake and that was game... crying
