my reasons for loving FMA, not only for the well written stories, or the emotional outbreaking that each character gives to the show, it's the characters themselves.

Aishio Angel my reasons for loving FMA, not only for the well written stories, or the emotional outbreaking that each character gives to the show, it's the characters themselves. ....My favorite character of course is Lust. smile coming from a guy i would expect that to be your fave character. ninja i donno, i kinda like Roy and Scar. I love the plot of FMA it is very cool and it just hooks you, i mean you cant watch an FMA and say 'meh i dont want to watch another' it keeps you hooked, you want to know what happens next.

I love it because its a perfect mix for guys and chicks...enough violence, gore and whatnot to keep the guys happy and enough sappy, happy and angsty stuff chicks like.
I think that its fairly realistic in the storyline as well... xd
Plus Scars there...who can deny his hotness? lol blaugh 3nodding

The story is incredible, and its well thought out too! I just love the characters, even if I them, I secretly love them because the are so dimesional! FMA is the best! And I'm not just saying it. It was first ever ani.me that made me want more! I love it to pieces!

yeah, it's amazing how one series can make you laugh so hard you fall out of your chair, but also make you cry hsyterically. the show and books really are astoundingly good.

I am totally drawn to the cruel Ironies presented by the plot such as who killed Winry's parents or who it was that created sloth it is those beautiful ironies that make the series so captivating. Sorry can't say who cause they're spoilers.
And BTW Maes Hughes is the coolest character

Fullmetal Alchemist is the best Anime/Manga in my opinion.
As said, it's a perfect blend of drama, action, and comedy; unlike shows like DBZ and Sailor Moon. Perfect for both genders. The storyline is the best part of the whole series. It's down to Earth, yet has enough imagination to keep it from being boring. ( Really, now. Magical girls, fingers that shoot, talking transforming robots, FLYING MEN-APES?! crying ; ) Maybe I'm just not a 'magic' kind of person, but this is just my opinion.
Hiromu Arakawa truly is a genious.

Fma is Awesome. The story is lightly predictable but it has a nice set of turns. the people in it are unique and seem real. and i mean i shows what could have happened if we had alchemy and not science.

xp I love fullmetal alchemist for many reasons..... I love it because it seems so real (except the whole using alchemy concept) and it is an anime for both guys and girls. Also, I love that once you watch it you get hooked on it right away and you have to know what's gonna happen next. I also love how emotional it is.....Only REALLY good shows can make you cry and I've cried multiple times during fullmetal......my sister and her friends think that fullmetal is dumb but I can't understand why. I also love the characters personalities because they're all different....I feel that I have a split personality and sometimes I act like ed and sometimes I act like al.....

It's a really unique show, it's got so many characters. And in each one you can find a way they relate to you, and that's what makes it seem so real. And the emotions you go through, one second your laughing the next your crying. It's deffinatly not a show for the weak at heart.

I donno why I like some things. I guess becuase of the plot and everything and it's really unique. Of course I think the show's out to get me. It only kills off the charecters I like ((Basically everyone thats died give or take a few)). Or hardly shows them ((Izumi)). The only person who escapes this curse is Roy. And he looses and eye.
