"I am going out to train." Regal called out to his mother. "Again?!" She squawked at him. "Sweetheart you are your sister are dear to me and while I want you to do what you want I think maybe you are taking this training thing to far? You do it every day almost all day and then you come back home all beaten up and sweaty. How do you ever expect to find a nice mate that way?" She chided lightly as she appeared in the doorway. "Mother I am not worried about finding a mate. I am worried about finding father for you and bringing him home. That is what I want. I just want to see you smile again." With that he turned and stepped out the door. "But your farther..." She shook her head and let it trail off. Heading back to what she was doing before. Regal was quick to reach the shop passing by many foxes in his speed. They had been training for months now, it seemed like longer. Noble and he had put themselves on a rigorous training schedule. Then proceeded to follow it, everyday from as soon as they could walk till now. Their search to find their father thus far had been unsuccessful. He had hidden himself rather well despite everything. He approached the shop and stopped at the door waiting for his sister to show up. "Regal what are you doing?" The ever soft spoken voice of Alexeial asked from his side. "I am waiting on Noble, today is the day we find farther and bring him home!" Regal stated with such vigor it was hard to doubt him. "Oh, well thats nice. Good luck then. I really do hope you find him." It wasn't exactly the truth. After what he had done to Anat, Lexi couldn't very well care if the damned Prince was dead. But he wasn't about to say that to his sons face. He smiled and clacked into the shop. Regal sighed and in three quick movements he was sitting on the roof of the shop. He cleared his mind, cleaning all the doubting thoughts from his head and fell into mediation. Waiting on his sister to appear knowing that she would be able to find him even up here.

Ever since she had grown, Nobel had lived away from her mother and eldest brother. She felt that spreading out would give them a better chance of finding their missing father. If she was on one side of the area and Regal on the other there was no way they could miss him. And if that wasn't enough, their sweeps of the area in between training would have to lead them to their father.
She gave a deep sigh as she quietly padded towards the shop. The two of them had been training so hard ever since they were physically capable of training. But was it enough? Were they strong enough to save their father from the evil that tormented him? Nobel wasn't so sure. She found it hard to believe that they would be able to fend off a demon their undoubtedly brave and strong father had to run away from, even if there were two of them. The half breed couldn't help but worry. The thought of possibly losing her father was hard enough, but when she thought of her brother falling in battle...It was unbearable. Which was why she pushed him so hard and ragged on him when she caught him not training. She just wanted him to be strong so she wouldn't have to worry about that.
As she approached the shop she gave a subtle nod to each fox she passed, calling out kind greetings to those she had seen before. The fact that the shop was always so busy made her wonder how they hadn't seen their father there at least once. Surely whatever was hunting him down wouldn't be foolish enough to try and attack him while in such a public place. So why wouldn't their father think to take refuge in there? Was he so concerned with the welfare of others that he didn't want to run even the slightest risk of someone being hurt? A smile creeped to her face as she thought of that, creating an image of such a valiant creature that was her father. It made her even more determined to find him and save him from whatever it was that kept him from them.
Finally coming to the building of the shop, Nobel didn't need to even look around to know where her brother was. Just as easily and elegantly as he had, she made her way to the roof and quietly seated herself next to him, "Hello, Regal. Ready to continue?"

A smile crept onto his features as he felt his sisters presence beside him. Her voice reaching his ears and pulling him from his place of peace. He looked over at her and shook his head.
"Do you even have to ask Noble?" He teased her lightly and nudged her shoulder. "Today will surly be the day we save our farther. I can feel it in my bones. This day speaks of promise." He said as a slight breeze picked up. He looked his sister over. She was all muscle now, wiry lean muscle. She had lost all traces of her baby fat a while ago. Still she would always be his baby sister. Even though she acted like the older sibling and often times he allowed her to do so; he still thought of her as his baby sister. Someone he was supposed to take care of and watch after. Yet he wanted her to be happy as well. To be able to smile and not train away all her days.
One day he wished she would be able to settle down and have a nice life. With her family around her and her friends as well. But that dream was far off yet. They still had a ways to go. He stood up and wagged his tail lightly. "Where are we starting today?"

While his smile was hidden from others because of the trademark mask they had all obtained from their father, Nobel knew it was there. They had quickly learned how to pick up on signs from each other to tell how the other was feeling or what emotion they were trying to express. A sort of unspoken, unseen bond between siblings. It was just one more thing that brought them closer together in spite of the fact that they were on both extremes of the age spectrum.
It was true she acted more like the eldest of the siblings, but Nobel didn't see Regal as the youngest acting. She felt that was reserved for their sweet brother Royal. He hadn't taken to the warrior path like they had, which was probably for the best. Their mother seemed to need at least one of them to care for and fawn over and he fit that bill so much more easily than Nobel and Regal. The two of them were just too independent.
"Then you feel it as well?" She gave her own unseen smile, glad that she wasn't the only one expecting something wonderful from this day, "Something in the wind feels as if success will finally be had." She glanced around the area surround the shop, taking in all the different terrains, and settled her eyes on the forest. It was where they spent most of their time, which made it unlikely their father would be there, since they should have found him by now if he was. But something was drawing her attention to it and she couldn't pull away, "The forest."

Regal nodded his head. "Of course I felt it, and you picked the one place that has been calling to me all day. The forest is where we shall look first." He nodded his head and sprang down from the roof of the shop landing with the lightest of noises on the ground. Waiting for his sister to join him.
"In the forest. That is where we will find farther today. It will be perfect. I know it, I feel he has been running for too long. I dare say it is time he return home to us and our mother." His words were confident of course as he started off towards the forest. He was sure that today would be the day they found their father. Change was in the air. That would be a family once more. Then perhaps mother would worry less and have a little fun.
Of course he knew it was a slim hope. For he and Noble certainly wouldn't stop training even after they found father. This was but their first quest. They must always keep the shop safe and their family. But at least they wouldn't be as pressed. Perhaps they could even have a few days of rest to have some family time. Isn't that what every fox wanted after all? Was some time to spend with those he or she loved the most? Of course it was. And here their farther had sacrificed all of that to keep his family and the shop and others safe. He was such a brave and valiant creature. He should receive a medal of honor for this.
"Truly our father is the most respectable of foxes." Regal called as the moved through the trees with more ease then was strictly normal. "To give up so much of his own happiness and life for others. I am proud to be his son."

It was so strange how connected they seemed to be. It was if they were somehow twins or just linked by some unknown mental thing. Whatever it was, Nobel was undoubtedly glad for it. It meant less had to be spoken between them and more action could be done. Quietly, she followed him off the roof, landing even more quietly than her brother had.
"He must be tired by now. Do you think father has been running since before he met mother even? How terrible it must be to be away from one's family while fleeing such a great threat..." She sighed softly and proceeded into the woods behind her brother. It was such a burden on her mind, knowing that they may be too late and their father may have already succumbed to the fiend keeping him from his family. While she kept hope that he was still out there waiting for them to free him, a part of her was preparing herself for the worst-case-scenario.
Settling down had never crossed her mind. All she ever thought about was training, saving her father and keeping the rest of her family, as well as those of the shop, safe from harm. She didn't have time to think about finding love and starting a family of her own, nor did she even really consider such a thing for her brother. Of course, once their mission was over such a though may be more likely to occur, but her mind would always be focused on protecting others than finding her own happiness.
"It's a wonder none seem to know of him, or even care of his plight...I suppose he must keep a low profile in order to keep everyone safe. Still, it would be nice for him to receive the credit he is most certainly due."

Regal smiled at her over his shoulder. Unlike his sister his mind never strayed to any bad thoughts. He was sure they would make it in time, he was positive they would save their father and come back alive. He never faltered in these thoughts and thus he never worried. "Even before he met mother? That is a very long time. I wonder why mother has never said anything. Have you noticed she pointedly ignores anything that has to do with father?"
"It is strange how none seem to know of his existence. I haven't run across one yet who knows of the fox I speak. And mother is so tight lipped. I know he must keep a low profile but surely there are others that are strong like us. There must be some that could help him with this great threat. The evil he faces must not be that strong. It can't can it?" Regal asked a hint of doubt creeping into his voice. He shook his head. No he mustn't think like that. They would find father and save him from whatever evil it was he faced no matter the cost. They would all return home and everything would be alright. THAT was how it was supposed to be and that was how it was going to be end of subject. There was nothing else that was going to happen. Everything would be ok. In the end. No matter what.
He picked up his pace as if running from the thoughts that would plague him. He didn't want to think about that at the moment. He must remain strong not only for himself but for his sister as well. There was no way he would be able to face her if he suddenly started doubting them now. They were ready for this, they were ready for whatever it was they would find. They were ready for anything. With each other there could be no doubt that they could face down any foe or challenge. They just needed to stick together.

"Yes...Perhaps it pains her to think of father. She must feel so much sorrow, knowing he is out there fighting for his life while she is home, safe because of him." A strange thought came across Noble as she wondered about this. She began to think about how her parents must of met. She was curious as to what went through the two foxes minds as they fell in love. She wondered if their father even knew they existed, or if he had fled before knowing that their mother was expecting. Noble wanted to ask her brother what he thought of this, but somehow she felt it wasn't something to be brought up. Not now.
Catching the faltering certainty in his voice, Noble quickly responded, knowing that doubt was never something her brother should feel, "Surely he has simply kept this beast to himself, not wanting others to get involved, no matter how strong they are. He simply does not wish to see others get hurt on his behalf, I am sure." She matched his pace as Regal moved faster. Clearly whatever was on his mind was troubling him, she could see and feel the turmoil of his inner thoughts. Perhaps the constant training was wearing them down, whittling away at their resolve. Or perhaps the constant failure to find any trace of their father was. Noble feared what would happen to them if they didn't succeed in finding their father soon.
Meanwhile, the fox they were so desperately searching for was not too far off, fighting what they would undoubtedly call his "fearsome foe" that was keeping him from them. Of course, this beastie wasn't really what was keeping the prince from his family, and in all honesty, he had provoked the metallic fox in the first place. But the blame could be put solely on MP, after all Starscream was a fairly volatile fox to begin with and the provoking was really more of a glance in the wrong direction. Either way, both foxes inevitably because irate and thus the following scuffle resulted. At the moment, Starscream had the upper hand and, really always would, being immune to any of MP's paralyzing pollens or physical attacks on his nearly impenetrable armor. The plant-based fox was suffering from unpleasant burns thanks to the Decepticon's lasers and he was undoubtedly going to fall to his enemy quite soon. Starscream knew this and didn't bother to hide his infamous smirk as he moved to finish off the other.
