I know a lot of people how have been hacked and few know what to do about it so i tracked down the report and the rules for filling it out, if you get hacked make another name if you dont have one and follow these directions:

Where do I fill out a Hacking Report form?



Please make sure you have gone through these steps first: I was hacked! What do I do?

Before filling out a form, please make sure to read the Reporting Guidelines:

File it within 30 days of occurrence

All reports must be filed within 30 days of the incident having occurred. Reports about incidents which occurred more than 30 days prior to the report being filed will be closed.


Reports must be filed personally

All reports must be filed by the owner of the compromised account. Do not file a report on behalf of another member of Gaia Online as the requested information needs to be provided by the account owner. If you have a friend or family member that has been hacked and cannot access his or her account, please tell that individual to make a new Gaia account and report the hacking from his or her new account.


Detailed and accurate information must be provided

Please provide accurate and detailed responses to the questions in the report. Read each section carefully before responding, and do not leave any questions or requests for information unanswered. Any reports containing unanswered questions or requests of information or which contain uninformative responses such as "idk" or "n/a" will be closed. You will then be asked to resubmit a new hacking report.


Information provided must be truthful and honest

The information you provide in this report must, to the best of your knowledge, be truthful. This includes being honest about what the cause of your hacking situation may have been. Making false reports is a violation of the Terms of Service of Gaia Online and carries penalties up to and including an account ban.


One report per incident

Do not file multiple reports about the same incident. Submitting several reports will clog our queue and delay our response to other members. Reports are handled in the order they are submitted to us to be fair and investigation of hacking incidents take time along with the fact there are many hacking incidents we investigate on a daily basis, so we must ask for your patience while we resolve this matter.



Please remember that item recovery is not guaranteed, and should not be used as a crutch for carelessness. While we have a dedicated team who tries to help users as much as they can, it is solely up to Gaia's discretion if recovery will be performed and we remain the right to deny any recovery.

We at Gaia take hackings and other attempts to defraud our users very seriously. Please report these to us when you see them – every single one is investigated, and users found to be trying to hack others are typically banned.
