Not sure how many of you have actually ever read anything by Hirano other than Hellsing, but...I was curious who of you have read either of these two series by him (don't worry, neither are adult works) :
Ikaryaku The Drifters
Yes, this is a very random thread, but I'm curious as I have been reading these two recently and find them great. No where equal to Hellsing but entertaining as well. Particularly Ikaryaku not only because its packed full of Hirano-style comedy and a few Death Note references (along with refs from other series), but...there's a character that looks like Maxwell with a headband. ;D
So... The basic point of this thread is to answer the above question and/or show your love for Hirano's other works. :]

I must say I've never read any of Hirano's other work. Are they anything like Hellsing (takes place in Europe)?

He has done a lot with Hellsing characters in the past. So far I've seen versions of Pip, Alucard and Max. Though I haven't read too much. His works are full of rape, WWII, and rape. And Pip. I read the original precursor to Hellsing, called the Legends of Vampire Hunter, and Coyote.

A lot take place during WWII but not all a hentai. The three I mentioned are not, and neither is Gunmania, another series I just recently read. Although I do believe all three of these were done either during or after Hellsing, but even still, not all of his earlier works were hentai series. There was one with Yumiko and Integra as Nazis. I haven't read it, but I do know that isn't a hentai.
...Where the heck have you been able to find LotVH and Coyote? I've been looking everywhere for them. DX
Oh, and back to the Europe question, some do. Some don't. None of the three I mentioned do. All three of them take place in Japan...or at least a Japanese setting. I recommend all three though. :3

And as for LotVH, I used this page: http://www.filestube.com/c947191b0a67561203e9/details.htmlIt takes forever to download if you don't have an account, but it's worth it and virus-free! And I'm glad that not all his stuff has rape. XD
