Okay, so much controversy over this. (Not really) It's the question you've all been waiting for... WHO IS THE PIXL QUEEN!? (dun dun dunnnn...) Suspects: Mimi-  ~She's supposedly a product from a potion... or maybe even a PIXL! Some call her a witch. Sounds like the perfect motive to rule the world for a witch. But a crazy girl, who like rubies and "cutie-pies"? And she hates the dark, and it stated that the Pixl Queen lived in a place of darkness... So that leads us to... The Shadow Queen- ~A 1000 year old demon, allegedly. She was reborn, but destroyed. Her work in the past of enslaving humans, could it also be a byproduct of producing slavedriving PIXLS?! And she has a pet dragon (3 to be exact), AND she lives in a palace of darkness! Well, now she's dead, and the Pixl Queen was 1500+ years old, so not likely. Dimentio- ~Hey, not all queens are female. He made Timpani meet Blumeire Bleck, and he creates dimentions, DIMENTIONS. Surely he can time travel. And being immortal would also help. Y'know, I bet he still isn't dead. And he made those Pixls to defeat Bleck! Aha! And we don't know his origins! Peculiar... Shadoo- (No image available) ~It lives at the bottom of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials... And it lives in darkness. Hm... No one really knows who/what this mysterious shadowy creature is, but there's one thing we do know: IT DOESN'T LIKE YOU. Discuss.

Dimentio is a descendent from the 4 (or is it 5?) people that made the light book (look at the glass in the tower that goes from flopside to flipside and read the green on one the left of the glass “door”. Your pixie tells you that he can made demotions)
If anyone from the game I would say Shaddo. He/she/it is probably a very powerful pixie that went mad so could be either the last pixie or even the “queen”

Mimi- As said before, she is just too childish. She doesn't really have any megalomaniac desires. Just a desire for gems and hunky boys. whee
Shadow Queen- She's a pretty good suspect. She's not from the Mushroom World originally, she has a desire to rule the world, and she's female.
Dimentio- Apparently, the Pixl Queen used mind control and telepathy. Dimentio, lacks both of these abilities. You could say he has mind control through the use of Floro Sprouts, but, alas, he does not have these abilities naturally.
I think it's most probable that he is actually the author of one of the Prognosticus.
I think it's either Shadoo or the Shadow Queen.

I can't tell you how long I've wanted to get that out. whee Yeah, both Merloo and Merlumina are stated to have written it in game... sweatdrop (This is so fun~) Yeah, it even says that Merloo could have written it himself, but Merlumina even told us that she was there writing it. Then again, Dimentio could have disguised himself... or even... MIMI. Yes! She could have taken the form of Merloo! And Dimentio could have killed him, and took his powers! Or maybe he just had his powers too, it could have been possible, that, back then, they all had similar powers... And I see your point on how he may have written both. He would need knowledge from both in order to counteract them... And that's where Mimi came in. Dimentio could have created an alliance with her, and aquired knowledge with her powers. Then he could have easily erased her memory with a Floro Sprout... And it's possible they could be immortal, after reading both books, full of tremendous amounts of energy, I'm sure they may not have aged... Or it could be more MAGIC~ Maybe... Who knows... >_>
