DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID: AIRING 25TH MARCHSam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate Bobby’s home town where the dead are rising from the grave but instead of attacking humans, they are happily reuniting with their families. The brothers turn to Bobby (Jim Beaver) for help but he tells them not to worry about it and to leave town.
Suspicious, Dean investigates and comes face to face with Bobby’s dead wife (guest star Carrie Anne Fleming) who has no memory of what happened to her. Once the zombies start turning evil, the boys tell Bobby he has to kill his wife but he refuses. First two clips from 5x15!COMMENCE FLAILING, CRYING AND RUNNING ROUND THE WORLD REALLY FAST TO MAKE TIME SPEED UP.

Ahh! I've been waiting for forever, actually since May of last year, for them to do a zombie episode! I'm overly excited!!

You KNOW the creators/writers have been waiting to do a decent zombie episode. I was both impressed and disappointed with this episode, though. Might have something to do with the fact that I recently watched and older panel with Kripke on it where someone quoted him having said something along the lines of, 'the less you see the scarier it is', and then asking him why there was more gore as the seasons have progressed. Looking at this episode (and in particular the scene with Sam and the first risen), I have to wonder the same thing now--is Supernatural perchance getting a little too gory?
What do you think, COS?

I thought it was a good episode... especially the part when Dean and Sam get arrested for trying to kill the Zombie and he was like "I'm a Taxpayer!" and when Dean was eating pie.. he was really happy... hahaha

But this was an excellent episode for Bobby lovers! He was amazing in it.
