Slystep stretched. her claws digging into the soft ground. Another apprentice? She shrugged her shoulders and let out a minor purr. Sure. Why not?
She twitched her tail and plodded toward the apprentice den. "BramblePaw" She tipped her head to peek inside. "Wake up...." She blinked her brown eyes and pulled her head back out. "We are going to go see the borders." She smiled remembering her first trek to the borders... She was so excited.

Paws heavily were placed down and the soft grass of newleaf was crushed with a loud crunch. He looked up and not to his surprise the mouse was running. In frustration, he leaped forwards, his paws barreling into the earth with every step. He had never caught anything before, nor did he know how to, but it made perfect sense for him to chase it.But why was he making so much noise?
"Bramblepaw."
Suddenly the mouse didn't matter anymore. He froze, ears pricked, straining to see what had spoken in this empty forest. It took him a minute to fully realize who said his name. He wasn't used to the voice yet, but still it was enough to wake him from his sleep.
He opened his orange eyes, blinked a few times, and then looked around. Everyone else was either gone or asleep, so who ever called his name must be outside the den. He got to his feet and immediately arched his back into a yawn, his paws tingling in remembered excitement.
Today was his first real day outside of camp. Today he would get to see his home.

SlyStep heard the movement in the den and purred slightly. She felt excitement. She loved seeing her apprentice's face when they got to go out side the camp. She smiled.
When he came from the den she raised her chin in amusement. "Hungry?" She twitched her tail." either grab something quick or you can catch something outside..."
