Dande Lionhatre III sat in a small sunny patch of grass, butt in the air, getting ready for his pounce on the small swirling honey bee in front of him.
Letting himself lunge into the air, he landed with a loud thud and a small 'oof'. Eyes crossed in front of him, he watched as the small humming insect landed itself on his nose.
"Uh-oh..." He said, staring at the Honey bee with growing horror as it raised it's bum and aimed it's stinger at his nose.

Kuuya sat aimlessly in the meadow, a frown on her face. After her friend had disappeared, she hadn't had anyone to pick on...or play with, for that matter. She sighed and looked up at the sky, wishing for something exciting to happen. Her ears perked up as she suddenly heard a muffled thump from not too far away, and, straining her eyes, picked out a small yellow figure in the distance. Curious, she carefully walked over, where she finally saw the honeybee prepare to sting the other gladier. Acting on a complete instinct, she launched herself through the air and swatted the bee out of the air, just barely missing whacking the other gladier's head off as well.

Dande blinked, wondering where the little bee had gone. Looking at the ground in a small panic, he lifted his paw and peeked under it. It wasn't until he checked under the second paw that he saw Kuuya's feet.
Eyes widening, he slowly raised his gaze until he was staring the white and green gladier directly in the face. Body stiff, he opened his mouth to say something but ended up shrieking instead. The sound of his own voice startling him, his jumped three feet in the air before clamping his mouth shut and throwing himself in a huddle, using his paws to sheild his eyes.

Hearing the scream, Kuuya instinctively flinched and stepped backwards. She made a face when she realized that it was just the gladier in front of her, and sighed exasperatedly. "Geez, pipe down will you?" She stared down at the other with annoyance, having hoped to be rewarded in some other fashion. "No one's going to hurt you now," she contnued. Not unless you start shrieking again, she thought to herself.
