This was the year to be a dinosaur fan! Not only had a full dino museum opened up but one of the local parks was holding a special event where they had converted the whole land into a prehistoric forest, complete with animatronic dinosaurs from various eras.

To say that Bleez was excited would be a giant understatement! She had to wait what seemed like ages before the park was opened and she was able to go. But here she was, at the front gate, furiously wagging her tail back and forth in sheer excitement. Not only was she going to go through the park without her mum, but she would be accompanied by her friend, Vali.

Bleez was startled to say the least, but when she spun around all the surprise turned to excitement and happiness once again. "VALI!" She hugged him tightly, "You's grown and lookit how tallya are! And you's practiced your dino pretendin' too!" Bleez's speech had gotten better, but also faster, a side effect of her Wrath DNA no doubt.

She let go of her massive friend; if it weren't for having met other spawn that were her size, she would think that she was the oddly small one. "Come'n, we needta go in sowe don't miss anyo' the coolstuff!" She hopped up and down, anxious to get in and see all the cool things.

Bleez blushed slightly, though she wasn't sure why, when Vali took her wrist. It was only for a split second, but it was there none the less.

The line in went quickly enough, Bleez's energy being spent bouncing up and down. When the got to the ticket vendor, Bleez pulled out a homemade coin purse in the shape of a shamrock. "I got dis, Vali!" she announced cheerfully, handing the vendor a few dollars, who handed her a couple tickets in return. The event wasn't free but it was cheap enough that Bleez could pay for it with her allowance. She handed Vali a ticket, smiling her one fang smile.

Bleez tucked her coin purse into her jumper pocket. "Nah, me.mum made it. Last time I.tried ta.make somefin' I pricked meself wif da pin." She held up her finger and made a motion like she was poking it with a needle. "It hurt, but I'll try.again later." She smiled at Vali again. "A dinasaur one.would be cool! Good idea!"

Bleez hurried to the entrance gate with Vali. "I'm glad.ya could come wif.me!" She handed the attendant her ticket and stepped through the gate, squealing with glee as she did.

On the other side of the gate see was greeted by a cartoony-looking Brontosaurus sign. The speech bubble announced that the Brontosaurus' name was Bronty and he would be their guide through the park. All they had to to do was to follow his footprints. After reading the instructions Bleez looked on the ground. Little yellow footprints had been painted on the walkway, "walking" in the direction of the first animatronic dinosaur.

Bleez smiled broadly, this was all too cool! "Vali! Follow da.prints!" She jumped on one of the footprints and waited for Vali to follow.

Bleez squealed loudly, "Oh.my.god!" She bounced up and down repeatedly, obviously excited about the opportunity to have her picture with a "real" dinosaur. She grabbed a hold of Vali's wrist and pulled him into the short line that had formed in front of Bronty.

Bronty was accompanied by a park volunteer that had a camera on hand. When Vali and Bleez were next in line she gestured for them to stand beside Bronty. Bleez could hardly stand still long enough for the volunteer to snap the picture. As soon as she heard the click, however, Bleez was at the volunteer's side, bouncing on her toes. "Can.I.see? Can.I.see, pwease?" The volunteer lowered the camera done so that Bleez could see the picture on the back of the display. "OH! Vali! Come.look!"

"You can pick the picture up at the end of trail we have set up through the park." The volunteer smiled at the spawn.

Bleez giggled, "I jus'.had to!" She was referring to pretending to be a dinosaur in the picture. Bleez blushed a little, no one had offered to buy her anything except her mom. "Nah, ya.don't 'ave to. Me.mum gave me some.moneys." She looked down, seemingly a bit embarrassed.

She shook it off quickly and jumped from one footprint to the next until they came to the first exhibit. A large head attached to a long neck swung out over the trail and roared lazily. It had a plant tangling from its mouth and as it swung back over it chewed on it slowly. A little plaque was posted under the long, swinging neck, announcing that this was an "Apatosaurus," which had once been called a "Brontosaurus." Bleez too amused with the animatronic dinosaur to notice this plaque, however, and all the information on the dinosaur it had.

Bleez was mesmerized by the larger dinosaur. If it weren't for Vali's exclamation about the tinier baby, Bleez probably would have been stuck there until the exhibit closed. But her friend luckily snapped her out of her fascination. "Wow! It mus'.be, Vali!" She giggled and bounced over to the other Apato.

"I.wonder want it's name.is?" Bleez now noticed the plaque that was between the two. She wandered over to it, thinking it'd have the name of the Apatosaurus on it. To her surprise, it contained facts about the dinosaurs that they were looking at.

Apatosaurus is one of the most famous dinosaurs of all time. Haven't heard of it? Well, what about Brontosaurus?
In the early 1900s A famous dinosaur scientist or palaeontologist by the name of Othniel Charles Marsh discovered what he thought were three separate species of dinosaurs. He named one Apatosaurus, one Brontosaurus, and one Atlantosaurus. However, after much study, it became clearer that the three were actually the same animal. Since the first one named was Apatosaurus, that became the official name. Yet the name Brontosaurus has lived on in popular culture.
Apatosaurus had a short snout filled with weak peg like teeth, which it used to rake leafs off of trees.
All though not as tall as some of the other Sauropods, it was was one of the heaviest.
It lived 150,000,000 years ago, during the late Jurassic period. It lived in what is now North America and Mexico.

It took several minutes for Bleez to read, she was still learning to read big words. She relayed to Vali, however, that neither of the two dinosaurs had names. "They's Apatosaurus. But, no.names. We.should name.'em!" She wagged her tail and smiled at Vali.

Bleez blushed again. These constant compliments made her feel fuzzy inside, and she was starting to like it, even if it felt a bit awkward for her. She was used to giving, not receiving.

She saw nothing wrong with giving names to the dinosaurs or writing them on the plaque. She smiled and tilted her head at Vali. "Dat's.a great idea! Ya.'ave such awesome ideas, Vali!" She nodded, agreeing with the baby's name.

Raising her clawed hand to her chin, her expression showed she was thinking hard about a name for the mother Apato. Her tail swayed deliberately from side to side as she contemplated. A few short moments later, Bleez snapped her fingers, the proverbial lightbulb going off. "Erin! Dat's.me gan'mum's name! She's me.mum's mum an'.she's old, like.de dinos!" Bleez waited for Vali's opinion, though she thought it was a great name.
