As day’s passed, Maria got more tired and annoyed for each day. She HAD tried to talk to the monster dog in her dreams, but every time she tried, it howled and she panicked again. Now, Annie wasn’t in her dreams longer, for now Maria would always wake up when she falls to the ground.
And Annie in her turn had started to pop up everywhere. She would sit on a bench and wait for Maria to end her school. Maria didn’t really mind, Annie was nice to her, and when Maria said no or something Annie always held her mouth shut.
One evening her mouther told her that she would go away a few weeks to look up some new stuff to the café, so Maria was going to stay home alone for all those weeks, until Annie got the great idea to stay at her place.
-“ But don’t you already have some place to stay?” Maria asked while she was cooking food and Annie sat on the counter watching her.
-“ Yeah, but it’s not as nice as you’re house.” Annie said whit a smirk. Maria sighted.
-“ I don’t know... Mom wouldn’t say yes to it.”
-“ but you’re mom isn’t here, right? Meaning YOU are this house master now.” Annie said and smiled.
-“ All right, all right... But is it okay if you sleep on the sofa?”
-“ Sure, I can sleep in the bathtub if I have to.”
-“ Haha no you don’t need to.”
-“ Good, you know, sleeping in a tub can be a hell of a pain for you’re neck.”
-“ So you have tried?”
-“ Among other things.”
-“ Like what?”
-“ Seriously, you don’t wanna know.”
They laughed. Maria didn’t know why she had grown to like Annie this much, but she was a good friend. But she barley knew anything about Annie, let alone how Annie knows so much about the things happening around Maria...
-“ Hey, Annie... Can I ask you something?”
-“ Sure, shot.”
-“ Well, you know much about...monsters, right? Have you seen many?”
Annie fell silent and looked out through the window.
-“ To many to count. And believe me, majority of them was not friendly.”
-“ Oh... Like...My monster?”
The question had been tormenting Maria for some time, and now was the chance to ask. Annie laughed.
-“ You’re monster is as dangerous as a new born puppy!”
-“ How do you know?”
-“ I can see it in you.”
Maria almost dropped the bowl of salad to the floor when Annie said this.
-“ S-sorry?”
-“ Ah, right, you still don’t know as much as I do. Well then, lets have some lessons in monsters, ne?”
Annie jumped down to the floor and sat at the table while Maria continued whit the food.
-“ Okay, Maybe I should start by telling you that these “monsters” that I’m referring them to, aren’t really monsters, but it’s easier to say that then something else. Any way, every person has a monster in them, some are as small that they almost don't exist, but they are there. Then we have people where we can start to see the monster. And then we have them who are in contact whit they’re monster and can keep them under control. And the last one is when the Monster takes over the persons body and mind, and the person becomes a real monster.”
-“ okaay... and where am I?”
-“ You are a beginner to be one to have control over you’re monster, and that is good. You might start to feel changes inside of you, don’t get scared! Just miner things like you’re eyesight gets better and you’re hearing. Smell also, things that will make you more...dog like.”
-“ Are you telling me I’m going to become a dog?”
-“ No, but you’ll get specific dog senses.”
-“ Woff woff.”
-“ Anyway. These small monsters are really no threat at all, they can be everything from things called “puberty flaws” and “PMS” to Egoistical and Aggressive. You can’t control these monsters, and they will never get worse then that. But, and here comes the scary stuff, those who get a monster who can control them, often ends up in a mental hospital or jail.”
-“ Why?”
-“ because they do stupid things?”
-“ Like what?”
-“ Killing people.”
Maria looked at Annie. She didn’t really take anything what she said serious, for frankly, Maria didn’t really believe in anything about monsters, vampires, mermaids or anything of the kind.
-“ Killing people?”
-“ Yes. They kill people. And not just one or two, I have stumbled across monsters that had killed over 50 people.”
Maria put slowly down the food in front of Annie, before placing herself on a chair next to her and staring at her.
-“ ...Seriously?”
-“ yeah. And they wont stop until someone else kills them. It’s one big dark horror circle.” Annie shook her head and started to eat, while Maria was thinking about if she should ask her next question...
-“ And... in which category are you in?”
Annie stopped in a movement and looked at Maria. She cleared her throat and smiled shyly.
-“ No one of them. I’m... special.”
-“ What do you mean?”
Annie said nothing, she stared at her food in front of her, before sighing.
-“ Well, If I was in one of them...” She smiled and crossed her arms over her chest, looking at Maria.
"It would be the last one.”

ARGH this took forever and I still don't like it! >.< Oh well, it's here now, hope you like it better then me ^^'
