It's been a while since i posted anything on gaia. Well specifically 127 or something days according to my emails. yaoi is a wonderful thing and i only ever read it in my room but it occured to me the other day that this is probably not the case with others.
so where do you read yaoi? do you read it only at home or elsewhere?

"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."
Well, usually at home but also at friends' houses if they have anything I'm interested in smile (basically, I bring my books in exchange for theirs etc)I've read BL on trains as well, which has given me funny looks from other people reading over my shoulder. - Oscar Wilde.

"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."
Omg! I did that too! I always had to split them up into like 10+ parts because there was a file size limit... - Oscar Wilde.

I read them on my computer, with the door closed. That way my parents won't come randomly bursting in.

I touch the fire and it freezes me; I look into it and it’s black.
• Usually, in my room, because that's where I get in the zone (if you know what I mean). I'll read it in the bookstore, and at my friend's house, since we do yaoi exchange pretty regularly. • Why can’t I feel? My skin should crack and peel. I want the fire back.

Usually in my room... whether that be at my mum's or my gran's.
And once at the table in the living room. I felt soooo bad-a** cool

Wherever my computer is: in my room, at the dining room table, on the sofa. I also have a ton of manga and fanfiction saved to my hard drive so I can read it on a long car-trip where there's no internet. Or even if I don't have my laptop on those car trips I have some fanfic printed out that I can read.
Ooo, and I also like to download podfics. There mostly Jeeves & Wooster because there's a writer on livejournal who makes a ton of them. I like to put them on my mp3 player and listen to them on long walks or bus rides.

Since it's only reading yaoi, I don't really care if my parents are right in front of me or not. I'd read it any where, yeah. 3nodding heart But when it comes to watching, ah, lock the doors and pull out the earphones~ :B

In my room. ....Not so because of nosy parents, but rather it's where my computer is and where I spend a vast majority of my time.
....I've also come to the conclusion that it is vastly easier to read yaoi in the States out in the open than it is to read it in Japan. 8D;;
