Yeah, you're right. The movie was really good at sucking out all of that dramatic tension from the novel. Spectacular in the respect.
No the movie replaced all of that super dramatic blathering with elegant and beautiful prose from the glorious lips of Brandon Lee.

And Teriyaki Chicken: the amazingamazingamazing movie The Crow was inspired by some crummy comic book from the 80's.

Seriously I'm so glad that the movie went it's own direction because the original story didn't even have any magic in it!
And Devil's Night wasn't in it and there wasn't a criminal cartel and no yummy Brandon Lee!
God the comic is such an abomination, the movie did it right
