Anyone know a quick, doesn't have to be easy, but QUICK!~ way to loose like 10-15 pound of extra and un-needed body fat in like 2 months? You see my friend is really pretty, no flaws at all, except for the fact that she's 15 pound over weight and has all this extra fat just sort of hanging there and she's looking for a way to loose some of it, even like 8 of it gone would be a huge difference.

I'm not someone, and neither is she, that thinks either of us are overweight, I want to get rid of some of my extra fat too, in fact we're both about average weight and stuff for most people who live where we live. The only thing is with this extra fat and stuff with our shorter heights (I'm five feet and she's like five 1 and a half) it makes us look hugee compared to everyone else. So we'd like to slim up our figures just slightly.

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas for my friend and I? Any advice or opinions are well appriciated. (:

We are all a little weird. And life is a little weird.
And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours...

Drink lots of water.

Watch the amount of food you eat at meals like lunch and dinner. Portion control is a must! I'm not saying to starve yourself. Just eat until you're pleasantly full, not until feel like going to sleep. It helps me to use a smaller plate.

Because you might be eating less, have small snacks through the day. Yes. It is ok to snack! In fact, it's better for you. It keeps your metabolism busy so your body doesn't think "Ok! Dinner! We have to pack this away because she's not going to eat again for twelve hours!" I typically have breakfast, a 10 o'clock snack, lunch, a 3 o'clock snack, dinner, and a 7 o'clock snack. The snacks might be a peanut butter and honey sandwich or an apple or an orange (or they might be a left over pork chop...). Just something a little healthy.

Find a fun way to get some exercise. At home I dance a lot. At school, I walk from the IT building to the library between classes, even though both my classes are in the same building and there's a lobby in the building I could spend the hour in. My family also just invested in a Wii Fit board. Those things rock!

If you have to sit down for long amounts of time, like in a class room, fidget. Swing your legs, tap your fingers on your leg. Bob your head side to side. This will burn a few extra calories. If you're at the store or walking between classes, walk a little faster than usual. Again, burns more calories. And take the stairs, you lazy bum!

Laugh.

Do you drive? Park further away from the destination to get a few more steps in.

And exercise. At least fifteen minutes a day. There are the silly "Loose 10 pounds in five days!" workouts, and I've tried them with results. Not the results advertised, but results.

My favorite:
10 sit ups
10 windmills (where you stand with your legs apart and touch your right hand to your left foot, stand up, and touch your left hand to your right foot. That is one windmill, btw)
10 push ups (I do them against the wall because I have no upper body strength... yet)
10 windmills
10 crunches
10 windmills

The sit ups, windmills, and crunches will really work your tummy region. The push ups are just because no workout is complete without pain.

And those are my tips. I don't guarantee that much weight loss, but it will get you a little more fit and motivated to do some real exercises to lose the weight you want.

Yeahs I know the feeling. I'm five feet and I wanna loose a bit of weight, but I'm pretty happy with myself. I mean its just my arms that are ugly ><" I hate them. But a good exersise is...

JUMP ROPE! ^^

But don't get those stupid kids ones like from the dollar store, get the good plastic ones. They wore so much better. And instead of just jumping up and down. Try jogging and jump roping at the same time. It's more interesting and you get an extra workout ^^

I just need a good jump rope. Days are so much nicer!

Or.. you could always play DDR a few times a day. Theirs a workout mode in some of them, but I don't know if that works or not, but either way you should loose a some weight plus its fun.

Ooo thanks for the tips guys. I don't own DDR strawberry so sadly I can't do anything with that but I do have the wii thing that Felt was talking about. The only problem with that is my busy scedual leaves practically no time for it so I don't get on it as often as I would like to.

There's this song that I know a dance to and even though the song is like 4 minutes long it feels longer when you're doing the dance. The dance is a great workout so I try to do that as much as possible. Its fun and its a great workout all at the same time.

I'll pass along this information to my friend as well. If you guys hear anything else please let me know. I'd like a variety of different things to try to find something that not only my friend enjoys but I enjoy as well so we can 'burn the fat', as my old gym teacher used to say, together.
