Syth couldn't help but be rather intimidated by the mansion she had visited on several occasions. Every time she had gone inside there, it was more for grabbing Alice and taking her away. And every time she had done that, something had to occur. Whether it was Kae refusing, Rasiel turning evil, or some other nonsense, something always seemed to happen. And now, she was going into the mansion with an egg. Both Alice's and her own child, sitting within incubating. Really, she was terrified to some extent, but she couldn't let it overpower her.

She had to go inside sometime.

So, into the large living she went, not bothering to knock, just telepathically unlocking the door. Not wanting to disturb Kae if she was even here yet. She held onto her egg, tight, eyes scanning left and right, just pondering if something might be waiting in the corner. Was she overreacting?

No, she had to be ready. Especially since she had something worth more than her own life. Hopefully, Kae would be here soon, if not already. She'd rather not be left inside an empty mansion.

Alice apparently too far behind as she had came up to the mansion and opened the front door. "Mother?! Syth?!" she called out, still holding Rasiel on her back in a piggy back style. She looked back to check on him, but he was still unconscious. She cursed under her breath and then began to make way for the nearest room to lay him down in. From what she could tell, it didn't look like Kae was there yet.

It didn't look much like it, and hearing the door slam open didn't exactly help her remain calm. About ready to jump up and attack whatever had attempted to force its way through. Though, seeing a limp Rasiel being carried by the other woman, she couldn't help but be slightly concerned. Chasing after Alice, headed with her to the nearest room so he might be laid down. Her arms were still holding the egg, watching Rasiel get placed down on the ground, "Alice, what in the world is going on?" Syth spoke. Standing near the door, not wanting to bring herself any bit closer to Rasiel. Having him strike out at her would be the last thing she'd let him do.

"And why did you bring him here? You told me to be here! What if he tried to break our egg!" Syth spoke, obviously unhappy with the decision. She trust Alice's choices, yes, but Rasiel was going a step further. Especially with that thing inside him propelling his hate for both of them.

Alice placed Rasiel in the bed and exhaled heavily. She saw Syth at the door of the room holding their egg and sighed. "Syth, I don't think that's possible right now. I think I killed him.." she commented, her face full of worry. "..oh god what have i done.." she whispered, looking back down to Rasiel who lay there lifeless. "Mother told me to give him something, something that would cure away his violent half. But he started convulsing and now I don't even think he's breathing.. I think he's dead!!" she exclaimed, starting to freak out. Her accent was coming back again, heavier than the last time. "I hope mother can help save him. I hope he is not dead." she spoke then started to shake him. "Wake up you stupid git!! God dammit, you have to wake up!!" she yelled as she tried desperately to wake him without success. Tears were starting to for in her eyes. She hadn't wanted to kill him, she wanted to save him. Alice felt responsible for his current state and hoped that he could be revived if Kae arrived soon.

There was a long pause. Syth remaining quiet, not really knowing what to say. There was some joy inside her with the death of Rasiel. Having one less problem to really worry about on a day to day basis.

Yet, seeing Alice act this way. Shaking and proding Rasiel, speaking in that accent that she only heard when the meta was very disturbed for some reason or another. And the fact that she knew why. Why exactly she was acting so worried.

It made her sick that she was thinking this way, but she bit her lip. Pondering what to say, if anything. Telling her that Kae had come up with the formula that killed Rasiel wouldn't be all together bright. Blaming Alice's mother instead of Alice herself. But then, a thought did come to her. Perhaps, something that would make things slightly easier.

"Do you think he enjoyed having that evil soul trapped inside of him?" Syth spoke, looking towards Alice, hoping it would ease her, "If he died... then he will not have to worry about being tormented every moment of his life. I believe he would appreciate it, even if he can't be with those he loved,"

It was really, the only nice thing Syth could say about Rasiel. After all, she had tried to kill him on multiple occasions.

Alice sighed, giving up on shaking Rasiel, since it obviously wasn't working. She heard Syth mention that it may be ending his suffering to die. "But.. he asked me to help him. It was supposed to separate them, not kill him! Maybe I did something wrong... Maybe mother can fix this awful mess." she commented as she stood.

She walked to the door, took one look back and then turned off the lights and shut the bedroom. "I will just have to explain to mother what happened and hopefully she will know what to do. If it is either revive him somehow... or just start digging a hole." she replied mournfully. She closed her eyes as she wiped away her tears.

"This is all my fault." she mumbled as she then hugged Syth, gently avoiding squishing the egg by just draping her arms over Syth's shoulders. "I am so sorry."

"You've helped him... you did what he might have expected." Syth responded, letting out a soft sigh. Adjusting the egg as she felt Alice hug her. Softly smiling as she turned her attention towards Rasiel. Perhaps, that is what his fate was meant to be. Dead, because of a being none of them could really understand.

Though, Syth couldn't help but smirk at the thought of not having to worry about dealing with Rasiel. Left alone with Alice, her own children, and then the friends they'd make thanks to the children they would have. Alice's life would perhaps get easier and more enjoyable.

"Just think of our future Alice. Perhaps everything will get better in the end," Syth spoke softly. Biting her lip again nervously, "We don't have to worry about fighting anymore,"
PostPosted: Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:12 pm

"We may have fought a lot in the past, but we made up. We were friends. He was my little brother, and I can't quite accept that he's gone. I feel like it's all my fault. If I had just talked to mother first, this all wouldn't have happened." she commented as she sighed and then moved further down the hallway. "This is the bedroom we'll be staying in.." she instructed as she opened the door. "...what do we do while we wait for mother to get home?.." she asked, still frowning about the situation with Rasiel. She then looked to the egg, "Oh, how is the egg?" she asked, inspecting the egg for a moment with her eyes.

Syth decided it would be best to drop the topic of Rasiel altogether, at least until Kae had arrived and there would be other things to talk about, aside from Alice's dying (Or deceased) sibling. Though, hearing the topic of their egg brought up. She couldn't help but smile, hugging it a bit more, "Its doing just fine," She responded, "I haven't done anything I shouldn't have to it. It won't break anytime soon,"

Really, she was still eager to see it hatch. Though, it would just take a bit of time, "Mmm... as far as what to do. Perhaps, something that'll take your mind off everything that has just happened?" Syth responded, placing a kiss on Alice's cheek. Rather hoping her message would be clear.

"I don't know... I just.. I don't know what I want to do right now.." she commented, her accent dying down slowly as she became more calm. Alice was obviously heavily affected by Rasiel's condition, and the fact that she found herself responsible wasn't helping her mood so much.

Kae unlock the front door to the mansion and entered, tired and exhausted. "Hey, Alice? Syth? Are you both here yet?" she called out as she entered the living room and poured herself a glass of scotch. Kae sighed as she had been kept at the laboratory longer than expected with her experiments. She sat on the couch and took a swig as she listened for a reply from the girls.

A reply would come from Syth, however, it took quite some time for her to get over her dislike for Rasiel. Sure, she hated him deathly, but perhaps she could try to enjoy his company. That is, if Kae would be able to save him. Though, with how her luck might have been sometimes (And the recent string of good luck), she would be more than willing to bet that Kae would have some sort of cure for Deskri.

Though, she'd make damn sure he never got near the egg, or her children for that matter.

'We're here Kae. Would you mind coming towards our room?' Syth could only speak telepathically, rather not wanting to deal with the situation. Yes, she detested him, and right now, she would have rather let him die.

"Kae is on her way here." Syth would only say as she decided upon vanishing from Alice's grip. Perhaps, her anger towards Rasiel proved to be a bit much, rather wanting to spend time by herself in an empty room. Carefully prying in on what might be happening.

If Rasiel decided to cause more trouble. She would make sure that bed would be his death bed.

Getting a message that they were down the hallway, Kae stood and moved down the way toward them.

Alice nodded slowly then left the room to meet her mother in the hallway. "Mother... I have to talk to you.."

"Again? Alice, you know you need to learn to work through your own problems. By yourself."

"No, really. It's about that vial you gave me.."

"So did you get him to drink it? All of it?"

"..y-yes.."

"So then what is there to talk about?"

"Mother, I think he's dead."

"What?!" Kae was horrified by the thought, but couldn't quite grasp the idea of being true. "Y-you're kidding, right?!"

"No. I'm not. He's in the first bedroom over there. He's not breathing."

Kae ran to the bedroom and flung open the doors, and immediately began to check his vitals. "Oh god... he's..dead." Her attention was directly attracted to Alice. "What happened?! What did you do?!"

"I... I didn't do.. a-anything! I just gave him the stuff.. and he... and he...." she was clenching her fists and starting down at the ground. "I'm sorry.."

"Dammit, Alice!"

"It wasn't my fault!!! I didn't mean to.... He just.. I didn't do it!!!"

"...I can't believe this... You didn't alter that potion, did you?!"

"What?! No! I wouldn't! I couldn't!"

"God dammit... how could this have happened... You had to have done something!!"

"I-... i didn't!!!..." tears were forming in Alice's eyes as angry and regret filled her very being. "It was your damn potion!! You made me kill him!!!"

"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WOULD KILL MY OWN SON?!"

"BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO FRAME ME!!!"

"..alice.."

"NO! YOU'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF ME SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING!!! AND THIS WAS JUST YOUR PLAN TO GET ME FRAMED FOR KILLING MY OWN BROTHER!!!! YOU NEVER WANTED ME!!! YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED EVERYONE BUT ME!!! I'M JUST A DAMN FAILED EXPERIMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed as she turned and broke out into a run out of the mansion.

"Alice, Wait!!!" she called out, trying to stop her, but couldn't catch her. Kae cursed under her breath. She had driven off Alice in her blind anger, just as she had done Daemin. Kae sighed and walked out into the hallway slowly, turning her attention to the open front door. She regretted yelling at Alice, feeling like she'd never be a great mother. It was her own fault that she couldn't keep her kids out of trouble, and because of that, she had lost her son and felt like she was slowly loosing her daughter too.

Well, having Alice run away wasn't the biggest plan she had in mind. And certainly, Kae hadn't planned on acting like her own self. Though, she trusted Alice wouldn't run away, much like she had the last time, and the time before that. Really, if she did, and she was left to be a single parent. Syth wouldn't be entirely delighted.

There would be a manhunt.

Yet, for now, she appeared behind Kae. The mute remaining quiet, telekinetically gripping at Kae's shirt, just pondering if the woman would be alright for now.

"Ms. Broken," Syth started off, looking down at the egg in her arm, "Erm... I hope Alice had told you about this. Ah, I don't really know what to say,"

Nervous? Yes, she was talking to the 'grandmother' of the children inside the wax shell she was holding.

Kae had been standing in the hall when she felt a tug on her shirt. Turning around quickly, she met face-to-face with Syth, in whom she had just remembered was there. Kae felt even more terrible now, running off Alice to leave Syth alone. She sighed and placed her fingers against her temple. "I'm sorry, Syth." she commented shortly then looked down to the egg she was holding. "...Why, yes. She did tell me." she responded, almost fascinated from the image of it. "It looks like such a fragile thing... I guess it really is better you both stayed here with it.."

"Its fine," Syth could only response. Her eyes tracking the movements of Kae, being sure that she wouldn't reach out for the egg. Yes, it did feel rather fragile. Thus why it had yet to leave either Alice or Syth's grip. Though, she didn't mind it all too much. Just thinking of the life that might be stirring within it.

"She'll come back soon," Syth could only speak, still sounding a bit angry. Emotionally unfriendly might be the right term. Perhaps, it was just being rather fearful about him waking up and likely attacking her, "Either way, have you read anything about the egg. Recommendations on what to do, take care of it, make sure it doesn't become rotten or something. I've tried looking online. Some of the pictures didn't exactly match up"
