Ah another beautiful lazy day, Ibala thought as she stretched out on a large rock. Nothing like sitting back and watching the day just float by. Sure she would need to find food at some point and most certainly make a trip to the watering hole. But all those things could wait just a bit longer. It was too nice to go out hunting right now.
Tail curled up along the side of her body as she watched the savannah up ahead. Even though there wasn't much happening today it was just so nice to just sit back and watch it all. Crossing her front paws she let out a yawn then laid her head down. Everything was just perfect today...just the way she liked it. A small fly flitted around her head causing her to lift it up and give it a shake to rid herself of the pest. No, she corrected herself, it wasn't a pest at all. Even flies had their place in the world didn't they. With a giggle she laid her head back down. Not even the buzzing of a fly could ruin this day.

Dysini'mbus moved with a leisurely grace across the savanna, his muscles bunching and unclenching as he moved, head lowered and body streamlined. If there was one thing the leopard knew well, was how to walk. He adored the idea of travel, which led to a rather severe case of wanderlust. His daughter was absent from his side, staying with her mama and mother somewhere else. He had left his girl in the care of the lioness and hare, knowing they would tend for her and he would be allowed to relax.
He slowed his pace as he approached a watering hole, body unfolding with ease as he began a light trot towards the edge of the water. Lowering his head, he lapped at the surface, though did not drink extensively. He had not traveled to the watering hole to drink. Oh no. He had come to hunt.
Lowering his body to the dirt of the waters edge, he pulled a face as he knew his stomach would be smeared with mud, but did not protest, eyes flicking to the surface of the water as he caught flashes of light from the scales of the few fish which lived in the rapidly drying water hole. His tail flicked behind him, waiting his turn at the prey lurking below the surface.
