Life has a purpose, or meaning?
I'm not a majorly depressed, but I am depressed,
but I'm not like I hate my life, well I do sometimes,
but not in general. I do cut myself, though.

Life has a meaning. All life has a meaning. You just gotta find out what it is.
I used to cut, too, but I finally figured out that it isn't worth it. Even if it did make me feel better, it was only temporary, and I wanted to find something that would make me permenantly better. So now I write horror stories! ^^ They're so much fun. I'm such a sadist.

but not in general. I do cut myself, though. life has no meaning...life is only a thing that keeps us from dieing im almost always sad...but i figured out if i stay doped out on painkillers im not so sad

life iz suppose 2 be fun, but not 2 me.. i dont hav a family.. well i do but it doesnt feel like it

@AwSom3: People say love Life, yeah, but life isn't supposed to be all fun. You're supposed to learn how to take the good with the bad, how to deal with things.
I'm sorry you don't feel like you have a family, thought. I sometimes feel like that still, after all these years of being "psychologically better". Its most definately not a pleasant feeling.
@Kintaro: Have you ever looked at a flower, or a bug, or something like that? I mean, REALLY looked at it, stared at it for hours, poked at it a little, felt its hard exo-skeleton, or smooth petals? Life sometimes doesn't have to have any more meaning than that. If you're doped out on painkillers all the time, you can't notice things like that, or things like how how paper crinkles really loudly at night when there's no one else up. Life is made up of a lot of little things that mean a great deal to the people who notice them--its you who determines if life has meaning or not.
Things like that little bug stopped me from killing myself.
Sorry, I don't mean to crusade. Tell me if I get annoying, and I'll stop. Its just those things are really important to me.

Life seems to have no meaning - perhaps it stems from my cynical, depressive-residual side, but that's the way it seem. However, this doesn't mean that there should be no joy. Just because life has no meaning does not mean it should not be adored and treasured while you still have it.
"Life's a b***h, and then you die," - why not turn that into: "Life's a b***h, so make it your b***h"?
