'Kay. He'd done his practice for the day, his stunts and techniques were clear as crystal and perfect to his standards at least, although he really wanted to be able to show them off. Sure he had his little childhood gang but after all the banter and fuss of not being fond of girls when he was younger made him want to try that little bit harder to catch their attention lately. Everyone in his herd had fallen in love, besides Roxanne but she was too prim and intelligent for most guys to understand. He continued down the mountain trail, his rich golden hooves twinkling in the dim sunlight, getting brighter as he neared the bottom where the emerald green of the forest tree tops glistened in a beautiful manor. It wasn't nearly as nice as Eden was, being as close to the sky it got lots of light but there was the downfalls. Like when it got cold, it was extremely cold and when it rained, it poured. He looked to the sky, squinting as the sun hurt the dark sockets and fumbled a grin to make his appearance more charming. He knew he was a stunner, there was no fault about it but he made little effort to woo mares, he was just himself. Always had been and even as an a** he had managed to gain quite a bit of attention.
"HA!" He shouted out to the tree tops watching several birds and animals scatter at the sudden voice. A smirk grew and a strut fell naturally into his step. His wings spread out but no chimes followed him, only demons in the shadows which he had grown used to knowing they never actually seemed to bother him, only taunt if it could be called that. He looked about the scenery, trying to spy another life form, or a mare he could prance around and dazzle for the evening with little care if he gained another fangirl or stalker. He liked the attention. If anyone was around, his stunts would surely bring their attention to him in more focus. He paused and closed his eyes, grounding his hooves as he lowered; staying silent for minuets, then pressed off the ground with such force, dirt flew in every which way direction till he met the sky like a dart and his wings fell flat to his sides and let himself drop that way towards the ground. If anything he would ever learn from his sister, Rosie. It was this trick.

Perfect! The weather was absoltely perfect. The sun was out, the birds were starting to come back from one of the harshed winters she had seen and she was loving it. It was as if the forest was slowly coming back to life and in doing so, brought new surprises everywhere she looked. She was a free spirit, one that apperciated life and her surroundings and one that also took full advantage of any attention she received, thrived on it even. She smiled at the thought. Oh yes, she loved the attention more than anything. Which was how she ended with such a lousy relationship with her daughter as it was. Even with the time that had gone by and everything she had learned. She still hated being told what to do, which is probably why she liked flirting so much. I mean, they liked winning her over which meant her suiters had to do anything and everything to get her attention, which she never fully gave, willingly that is. Her attentions- her heart always stayed somewhat at a distance. Even she couldn't comprehend why. Her memories seemed to blend and merge together in the days before she came here and before her mistakes, she had never really cared. Though it was something that was constantly on her mind now and she would, sooner or later find out what her mind was trying so despritely to hide from herself.
Her eyes were well adjusted to the filtered light of the wood as she sought out her next activity. Melanie lifted her head to the tree tops and simply listened. Someones coming... Slowly she crept away out of sight. It wasn't like her normally to hide before she saw someone, but after her last encounter with another soquili she couldn't be so sure. Looks, she was realizing, were something that could easily be deceiving. Her hooves scratched against tree roots as her agitation grew, grew slowly until she could barely stand there and wait much longer.

The air had a soft, drifting sway through his feathers as the ground grew extremely close with every second. There was this 'life & death' situation with most of Zeeke's stunts, it only took one wrong timing to end him injured or dead on instant. His eyes were closed and from inches away from the tree tops he threw out his four graceful wings and glided towards the river letting the wings fall back to his sides. He landed with a thud in the water, waves of it running up side his legs and spraying into the air, he lifted his wings back to the air, lifted his head and his right knee up high, looking to the sky and over him shone a mini rainbow, with the water sparkling in multi colours from the reflection. He closed his eyes to savour the atmosphere of another completed trick. Another successs. Oh it felt good knowing he was a perfectionist at some things.
He slowly twisted his head to the side, spying a marble colour the sun had caught in its rays from the gaps in the tree tops. Was something or someone hiding in there? Coolly, he placed his hoof back down and headed towards the forest with a smug grin. Nearing it he tilted his head. "Come out, come out wherever you are. Shows over, you've been caught."

Ears twitching at the new comers voice she stepped out from behind the security of her hiding place. Which, apparently wasn't much of a hiding place at all, for this male had sensed her without a problem.
Damn! Now what was she gonna do?
Her stood her ground, eyes forward, head held up with confidence but when she spotted the stallion in question her eyes widened with surprise. Holy Crap! Was he real? She had never had the chance to meet a winged soquili before so it stood as a fact that she had definitely never seen an Angeni before either. And yet here one was now, in her families territory. A slight smile crept up her features as she stared at him. Slowly, her body relaxed and she took a couple more sultry steps towards him. "I may have been found, but I've never been caught." She might be amazed and excited about his arrival, but she would do her best not to show it. She had learned over time that it was better to hide your attraction at the first meeting or it might go to their head and use it against you. And that was definitely not something she would let anyone do. After all, no one had been able to catch her.

Zeeke's eyebrow raised as the marble coated soquili revealed herself from the forests shelter. What amazed him most was that not only had she actually appeared at his command, she was absolutely stunning! With long multi toned hair, black lined her eyes and made them brighter and luring. He wolf whistled and nodded as he walked towards her, liking her 'wild act.' "Well, babe. You see, I doubt many stallions have the ability to keep a beautiful and fine mare such as yourself. They probably don't even deserve you. I however... Put it this way. I wouldn't dissapoint." He grinned, looking her up and down. He trotted over to her, pausing when he was just next to her head and pushed his muzzle close to her, but didn't actually touch her then slinked past and began walking towards the forest, flicking her rump with the tip of his tail playfully and peering back over his shoulder to see what her reaction would be.

Melanie's smile quickly turned to a smirk as she took in his approval of her. Though she had never been whistled at, she liked the attention. "I see. Then why not try putting your apples where your mouth is?" she let herself giggle for a moment, her maw slight inches from his. "It would be fun." She turned her head quickly and circled him, her hips swaying as she took her turns widely so he could admire her. But at the same time she took in the sight of him as well. It kind of reminded her of a dance she'd seen two-leggers do together before she learned to avoid them. "I must say, you definitely are something to admire." Definitely a good piece of eye-candy.

He wondered what she was doing at first till he realized the teasing was being returned. He mirrored her smirk and stood still as she began to circle him. Her hips swaying side to side, and he didn't make a move to hide the fact he was definitely watching her little catwalk, even let his head turn to keep an eye on them. OOFT. Now this girl knew her tricks. She had caught his attention, too bad the game was far off of being over and the prize under his wing. "Dang. Girl. I might just have to throw myself at you at this rate." He laughed falling into a charming smile, swirling round to meet her and also stop her in her walk around him. He nibbled at her mane and stole the clip in her fringe, stepping backwards. "Think this would look good on me, princess?" He winked. If she wanted it back, guess she was just gonna have to stay with him till he gave it back or banter him senseless.

"It's Melanie by the way." She added with a smile that soon faded as he stopped her in her tracks. She blinked, confused by his actions at first but after a moment his true intentions were revealed. She shook her head slightly, at his game, the now freed hair dropping to shield her eyes. 'Good play'. "So... Now I have to play nice to get a prize?" She didn't specify on what kind on what kind of prize and let him simply think of one instead.
With a quick flip of her head and her loose bangs were set safely atop her head. "There" she didn't really need the clip, but wanted to see what kinda of game he aiming for and just what of other tricks he might have up his wings. And with that, she smiled again. Her eyes fixated on his as Mel followed after him.

Zeeke grinned. "Exactly." He nodded watching as she stepped forwards when he stepped backwards. He headed towards the water once again and stepped into the shallow end, fumbling with the clip in his mouth. "Names Zeeke." He replied, glancing back at her a moment. "Melanie?" He tested. He thought it was a nice fitting name for her and smirked. "Pretty name for a pretty lady. Suits you, Melanie."
"Now." He chuckled mischeivously, looking down at the water as the ripples fled from every golden hoof that plunged into it. "What do you think about, games? Or about getting wet?" He had in mind what the prize was going to be, but he wondered what this encounter would make of its self, if shed guess it by the end of their playing around or if at any point shed try to leave all the nonsense behind. Seriously though, he highly doubted it. He was everything a girl could ever want or so Zeeke thought.
