» Guidelines
Post RP Threads in Here Only.
No roleplaying is allowing in the main thread, or anywhere else in the guild except for in this subforum.
Short OoC RPs are allowed in the main thread until they start to annoy Shikai. wink
No Extensive OoC Discussions in RP Threads.
Minor comments are acceptable as long as they are double bracketed. If you need to ask something that requires extensive conversing, please use PM, the main thread or OOC specified boards.
No God-Moding or PowerPlaying.
This means controlling someone else's character(s), or having your character be all-powerful and virtually untouchable.
Be Literate and Have Decent Posts.
This is just a good habit to get into, including spellchecking and rereading your posts, and it makes RPing with everyone much more enjoyable.
If You Start/Join an RP Thread, Try to Be Active.
If you are on leave, try to inform the people you are RPing with prior to your absence so that no one feels neglected.

» Background
Humans Do Not Exist.
For all purposes and intents, there are no humans on or around the Isle. Under no circumstances will you be allowed to make any references to humans, whether in experience, myth or history. Howevers, Fafners do have similar habits and some tools as humans - you can be creative here.
Fafners Do Not Have Pets.
Aside from the mysterious and extremely rare "Minis", Fafners do not own pets nor have they even been known to do so. They regard anything creature smaller then themselves as prey and fail to understand the concept of taming another creature. Neither do they breed creatures for food, instead hunting as any wild predator would on a regular basis.
Fafners Know How to Use Tools.
Fafners are fairly intelligent and have mastered many skills despite their lack of opposable fingers, using their strong tails to sweep items or their mouths to grab the necessary things. Most of their tools are made to stand on their own, so there has never been a necessity to grasp with fingers.
Fafners Live in Huts within a Village.
Fafners live in small family units that shelter together in small huts. All families are part of a Clan which consists of a main village near the center of their territory, and all huts are settled in an organized way to form the village. The entire Clan usually comes together to help build each individual hut, and all are required to contribute to the building of storages.
Only Rebels do not live in permanent villages, though there have been remnants of quick and temporar huts seen where the Rebels have been known to settle down for periods of time. Most of the time, they take shelter in caves or even within protected foilages during the warmer months.
No One Has Seen the Royals.
Nothing is known about the Royals, from appearance to personality, as they rarely if ever venture out of the Castle. There are myths that float around the Clans, but these may very well be ridiculous rumors and nothing more. All that is known is that the Royals are far more intelligent than the common Fafner and possess superior physical strength.
