"Father?" asked the young Kajime, the boy had a fair complexion, which was common to his clan since they lived in the shadows both day and night. His dark brown hair hung unkept on his head, complementing his deep brown eyes, his mother had asked him to comb his hair before their walk, but he had no reason to and thus left it as is. "Father?" asked the boy once again, as his father had not yet made a response.

"What is it Kajime?" replied the man, tilting his head to look at his child. He wore a embroidered white shirt over a long-sleeved coat bearing their clan's name, his wife also wore a similar coat, tailor-made for the women of course. Kajime wore a simple tunic as the child was not at a right age yet.

"Look over there." Kajime said pointing towards a dark alleyway "I think someone is there." the child continued, looking at the dark figure of Jinsoku, pondering who or rather what it was.

"Hmm?" the man placed a hand on Kajime's head, instructing his wife to watch over him as he walked towards the alleyway, and towards Jinsoku. Once he had gotten closer, he could see that it was a child, younger than Kajime. He was muddy and a few scratches could be seen, but nothing painful or fatal. "What are you doing here, child?" he asked.

Jinsoku watched carefully as a man walked towards it. The Dark Empire was a place filled with treachery and even the friendliest looking of strangers could turn out to be some of the most deadly. Even Jinsoku, at the tender age of nine knew this law of the malevolent streets. He watched his surroundings carefully as observed the family unit that the man was with. For a moment in time the child of the family and Jinsoku met eyes. Time seemed to move on in slow motion as the stars aligned these two children's fate in an endless vendetta. The darkness in Jinsoku had a light glow as it was just beginning to spread.

He looked up at the man and gazed deep into his eyes, into his soul. Jinsoku knew he had nothing to be afraid of at the moment. Although he was young, Jinsoku was very mature for his age. He knew what happened to his clan, to his family--the people he loved and cared for. "My family was brutally murdered, monsieur. I am alone." The child's french-like accent shivered and rolled off his tongue as he spoke. Just the mention of his clan was enough to make the hate in Jinsoku's heart start to consume his soul. He looked back once more at the boy standing in the distance.

"I see..." the man commented, his eyes studying the boy's appearance and movement. "If that is true, then how did you manage to survive? Did your parents hide you when the crime took place? Or--" he paused for a moment interested by the boy and his strange history "--are those bruises on your skin caused by your own escape?"

"Mother?" Kajime asked, never once looking away from Jinsoku. The boy's eyes hid a dark and menacing aura, but the young child could not steer his eyes away. As if, their souls were locked in a stand-off, waiting to see who would give in first.

"Yes Kajime?" replied the beautiful woman, her delicate hands lovingly clutching his son's hand as he noticed Kajime's growing interest in Jinsoku.

"What is father going to do?" asked Kajime, still holding his mother's hand and still looking at Jinsoku. "Is he--" he paused for moment, he was too scared to continue.

The woman smiled and giggled a bit, stroking Kajime's hair she spoke "Don't worry, your father is a gentle soul out of the battlefield." she assured Kajime as she started to walk towards his husband. "Come on then, let's get to know this stranger up close, shall we?"

The voices in Jinsoku's head we're buzzing around continuously as the conversation between the man and him kept going. He was hungry, starving even. He lost a lot of blood in the massacre and should have died. He kept looking into the boy's eyes. As Jinsoku stared in his eyes he began to tap into the feeble mind of the youngster. Jinsoku's demonic core telepathically sent images of the destruction of his people to the boy's mind. Lives being lost, homes being burned, families being torn apart while pets get ripped limb from limb. The demon in Jinsoku showed Kajime his pain, his sorrow. Darkness engulfed the young lad's mind as the shadowbeing-vampire demon inside the soul of Jinsoku played with his adolescent mind.

Jinsoku answered the man's question, "I'm not sure how I survived, monsieur. I was knock unconscious and I was sure I was dead but I woke up. I looked about, monsieur, and everyone was bleeding." Jinsoku said everything while looking into Kajime's eyes and flashing more disturbing images into the child's mind.

"I see." spoke the man, nodding his head as he rubbed his chin "Perhaps your parents were able to defend you with their last breath. A noble, yet depressing fate." he turned around as he noticed his wife and son approaching, he greeted them with a smile and he immediately noticed the stare-off between Kajime and Jinsoku, chuckling to himself as he did so.

"My parents are killers." Kajime spoke suddenly, as if replying to a question. The initial impact of such gruesome visions was a shock to the boy, but gradually they lost their edge, as the boy's parents were known for their blood-drenched ways of killing, an artistic dance of blade against flesh. "So, I understand what it means for someone to die. For their existence to cease."

"Kajime, did I not tell you to refer to us as assassins?" spoke his mother gently patting Kajime's head. The young boy bowed his head in apology as the woman looked at her husband. "Well then dear, it seems like Kajime and this boy have quite a strange link, wouldn't you say?" her words seem to resonate the pair's future, locked in a chain of vengeance.

"Strange isn't half of it, darling." the man paused for a bit after speaking those words. For some reason, calling the most feared knife-user in their clan as darling seemed a bit strange to him. "But since you two do have quite an interesting relationship. Why don't you join us in our house, as a new member of the Fuzen Clan?"

The words of the people perked young Jinsoku's interest. A family of assassins wants to adopt me? Interesting. It really wasn't a bad offer considering the fact that he had no better options to chose from. For the first time in a long time Jinsoku smiled as he looked over to the boy of the family. So this would be my brother? Even more interesting. Jinsoku looked into the eyes of Kajime as he showed him scenes the "star day", the day Chaos fell upon him and saved his life. He communicated telepathically to Kajime once more, This is the reason I am the way that I am. No doubt I will perk your interests a couple of times, as I sure you will perk mine. The stars are aligned Kajime. We were fated by destiny stars to meet. I think I will rather enjoy calling you brother.

Jinsoku looked up at the man and his wife as he nodded his head and spoke, "It would be an honor. Merci, kind strangers. No, merci ma nouvelle famille. ((Thank you my new family)). " Jinsoku gave a smile that hid the wickedness in his heart well from all except Kajime. Although he did not appear downright evil, there was something there that was very mysterious. The family took Jinsoku in and from that moment on, Jinsoku Alucard ceased to exist. It was now Jinsoku Fuzen who would be one of the chosen warriors of the stars.

((Hope you don't mind but I'm gonna do a little time skip xp I'd rather not do many years worth of roleplay. I'll still keep true to the history of it all no need to worry.))

Nine years later, Jinsoku had become well known as part of the Fuzen clan. He was a quick learner in the art of murder and picked up on the skills rather quickly. Some could even argue that he was now up to part with his foster brother, Kajime Fuzen. Jinsoku was happy with his social and economic position now more than ever. His lust for power and blood kept Jinsoku entertained as he killed dozens a day and on his good days hundreds. It didn't matter who they were or why they needed to die, Jinsoku always had a distinct pleasure in killing them. Now 18 years old, Jinsoku was quickly on his way to top of the blood bath that all the Fuzen family members dined on...or least almost all.

"Well done on your last mission, brother." spoke Kajime as he greeted Jinsoku's return from his latest successful mission. "As usual, father would like to congratulate you personally. He's in his room." he said pointing at their father's room with a tilt of his head "Best not to keep him waiting, eh?" Kajime's attitude towards Jinsoku had lightened up since their first meeting as children. He was a kind and supportive older brother to Jinsoku, despite not being actual siblings. Their friendship was greeted with smiles by their clan members, who called them blessings to their parents.

But hidden beneath his brotherly guise, Kajime kept a sense of fear towards Jinsoku. A feeling that prevailed from the moment their eyes made contact, nine years ago. Something was inside Jinsoku, something dark and mysterious. And as Kajime looked at his brother's actions, his love for killing and blood. He slowly came to a realization that this thing, whether it was Jinsoku or not, was evil.

Jinsoku smiled at his older brother as he greeted him with a light brotherly hug. "C'est bon, mon frère. ((That's good my brother.)) Oui((Yes)), you are right. I shall not keep him waiting then." Ever since the day they met Jinsoku and Kajime's relationship was very hard to read. Jinsoku's power had grown a lot over the years, almost to the point where he could barely control it. Actually during the last couple of nights, Jinsoku's illusionary techniques have been stepping out of boundaries in his sleep, triggering nightmares for many members of the clan. Although he knew his father wanted to congradulate him he also knew that his father would be asking him some questions.

Jinsoku waved off his brother as he walked to his office door and knocked on the door. He waited patiently for his reply, wondering what he had to say.

Inside the room was Jinsoku and Kajime's father, the head of the clan and the most powerful assassin of the Fuzen clan. He sat cross-legged on a soft silk mat, and wore a purple robe made of fine silk, bearing the Fuzen clan's symbol. He smoked a intricately designed pipe and his table was made of polished wood, wit several designs engraved into it.

Upon hearing Jinsoku's knocking he layed down his pipe and cleared the table of his paperwork, reports, requests and other such things. "Enter." he spoke as he hid his pipe underneath his robe, waiting for Jinsoku to enter the room.

Jinsoku couldn't believe the emotion he was feeling--he was actually nervous. His heart pounded heavily like it was trying to hammer through his chest. Sweat trinkled down his forehead as it proceeded to slide down and off his chin like rain against a window pane. He heard his father say 'Enter' and gave a huge gulp that seemed to echo in the corridors of his mind. Jinsoku grabbed the doorknob and turned it counterclockwise until he heard the doorlock click. As he opened the door it made a loud squeaking noise that sent shivers up Jinsoku's spine like a cellphone's on vibrate.

Jinsoku walked into the room, his loud boots making a loud clomp sound with each step he took. He seen his father sitting down in his favorite chair, smoking his pipe as he looked at him. Jinsoku gave a faint smile as he looked at him, "Bonsoir, mon pere.((Good Evening, my father)) Kajime told me that you wanted to have a word with me."

"Yes, have a seat." said the man, pointing to a vacant seat in front of him. His fingers caressed the surface of his pipe, almost as smoothly as he did to his blades when on a mission. Both of his eyes were closed when Jinsoku knocked, but upon his entrance one of his eyes opened as he looked at his son.

"I wanted to congratulate you on the numerous missions you have successfully completed, Jinsoku. However, you must first make yourself proper." he said giving his pipe a twirl. "Panic, anxiety, confusion and nervousness are not fit for an assassin, such as yourself." he said, indicating he had noticed Jinsoku's rather awkward actions-- at least, awkward for someone of his status.

Jinsoku knew that what his father said was true. So he took a deep breathe as he calmed himself and mentally prepared himself for anything. He looked into his father's eyes making sure that his countenance was unreadable and blank like a new sheet of drawing paper. Jinsoku's mind was empty, like a black void in outer-space. His eyes had no shine, no sparkle, no trace of life within them. Even his speech was straightforward and to the point, not a hint of emotion found within a single word or letter. "Yes, father. I understand. Thank you for the congratulations. Is there something you needed from me?"

Jinsoku's father nodded as Jinsoku made himself more proper, at least in accordance to what their clan defines the word 'proper'. "Good, no emotion, no hate or love." he spoke as he removed the pipe from his mouth and once again closed both of his eyes. "Now, there are two reasons as to why I called you here today. The first is to congratulate you on your achievements. It feels as if it was only yesterday when we found you as out on the streets." he spoke, twirling his pipe once before continuing. "The next... has something to do with the area surrounding your bedroom." for once, he gently laid down the pipe onto the table "A few of our... lesser-willed, members have been experiencing nightmares. Do you know about any of this?"

Meanwhile, outside of the room Kajime leaned on the wall. His presence was most likely noticed by their father, but not by Jinsoku. His brother had surpassed him in the killing arts, but when it came to espionage, he was still the superior of the two.

Young Jinsoku Fuzen

Jinsoku thought for a moment about what his father was asking of him. In a mere ten seconds he thought of a hundred possible outcomes from this conversation. None of which fit his liking but he thought of ways to remedy the worst of the scenarios. Jinsoku's power was growing at alarming rates, and he knew that if they were too alarming the higher ups might try to seal them. The demon inside Jinsoku was powerful and therefore made him relentlessly powerful. The power of Chaos inside Jinsoku was like an endless river pouring into a bucket; it was massively overflowing, to the point where Jinsoku was barely able to control it. It wouldn't be long until it got the best of him and consumed him. Jinsoku knew all of this but how could he tell his father. "Yes well, I think it may be due to my increasing power level. It seems my heightened magical capacity is too much for them to take. Especially when they are sleeping vulnerably. Maybe a change of location will solve that issue. Since I am a vampire I can pretty much sleep anywhere dark. If they can not handle my presence then I will leave."

His stars are aligned...
...His story is unfolds...

...He is destined for greatness.

"Hmm..." his father hummed for a while, suddenly changing attitudes. He once again twirled his pipe around in a carefree manner, while pondering the idea "Well, I'll be honest with you my son. I have only encountered your kind in legends, so I have no idea how to approach this... power of yours." he spoke, still twirling his beloved pipe. "You and Kajime are my beloved sons, I will not have it for either of you to feel ostracized. However, if you feel you changing sleeping quarters will solve the problem, I can always have you sleep side by side with your brother again in his room." with that he finally stopped twirling his pipe. "Your brother is a relatively isolated person, and I'm sure your dark aura will do him no harm. And I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

Meanwhile, outside Kajime's sweat began to bead up on his skin. 'I knew it... I knew dad sensed me here.' he said, wiping of the sweat, still hidden from Jinsoku. 'I'm so going to get it later. Sigh.'
