You can't quite remember when you started seeing the boxes pop up around town in the grocery stores. Then again, remembering anything these past two weeks has been difficult. Recent terrorist attacks in Destiny City have changed: the usual depressing headlines of Two People Found Dead at 7th Ave and Madison have been replaced with the more hopeful Mysterious Attacker Leaves Two People Unconscious. But those are rare and few in between -- the Destiny City obituaries section continues to take up office space on page F5 of the Destiny City Times.
But look! Here is a chance to escape the madness. There's a new attraction coming to Destiny City: Tanglewood. What is it? Where will it be? The advertising box doesn't say much but offer a chance to be one of the five lucky winners of a sneak-peek before it opens.

Welcome to In The Name of The Moon's very first Choose Your Own Adventure event! Do you have what it takes to make it victoriously to the end?
Who can play?
Any current member of the shop! Civillians, Senshi, Negaversers, Cavaliers, Cats -- if you're interested, come on in! There will be a maximum of five players. These five will be chosen raffle-style -- so first come is NOT first serve! Note that if two of your characters are picked, you will need to choose ONE of your characters. Spread the love!
How do I play?
You will be presented with a prompt. Below this prompt are several options you can pick for your character. When you make a decision, please bold your choice so I know which option you're going with.
Here is an example of what to expect. This is a section from Joe Dever's Flight from the Dark, a Choose Your Own Adventure book:Quote: Marushii The Path:The path is wide and leads straight into thick undergrowth. The trees are tall here and unusually quiet. You walk for over a mile when suddenly you hear the beating of large wings directly above you. Looking up, you are shocked to see the sinister black outline of a Kraan diving to attack you. You draw your weapon and prepare to fight.You evade the attack by running south, deeper into the forest. Matt McMatt Matt puffed his chest out and strode confidently down the path, feeling as if he was on top of the world. He was the greatest! Invincible! He -- He suddenly had a shadow over him. At the sound of beating wings, Matt stared before drawing his weapon to fight, preparing for the Kraan beast! Rianna Randomperson She glared dourly at Matt McMatt as he shoved her aside, strutting about with the confidence of the only rooster in a hen pen. "Stupid..." She muttered softly under the breath, following dourly in his wake. It's not as if she even liked him, since he was everywhere she went and stealing her thunder. It was as if... as if... What was that beating sound? She looked up and gasped at the sight of the large monster. "Matt!" She screamed, drawing her weapon to help.Vicarius Vickterson Matt and Rianna weren't the only two out and about. Vicarius Vickterson was elbowed aside as Matt strode confidently forward, leaving him to shook dark glares with Rianna at his back. "Who elected you leader?" He asked, removing his monocle to polish it. "Just because you managed to move faster than Rianna or I, it doesn't mean tha-" The large beating of wings interrupted him. He looked, stared, then wordlessly took to his heels an ran south, deeper into the forest.Marushii The Kraan Fight! -- Matt, RiannaThe Kraan hovers above you, raising dust with the beat of its huge black wings. The dust gets into your eyes and nose, and you start to cough. Now the beast attacks. You must fight it to the death. Because of the dust, you must reduce your COMBAT SKILL by 1 point. Roll a 20-sided dice. You are trying to beat 12. Because of the dust, you only get one chance to attack.The Forest Undergrowth -- VicariusYou dive into the undergrowth just as the beast screams past your head. You quickly look back to see the Kraan turning in the air in preparation for another dive. You scramble to your feet and run deeper into the safety of the forest. As you go on you discover a forest path that divides at the point you join it. Which way do you go? Head south.Head east.
Each heading lists a name after that. Only the character listed has that prompt -- for instance, Vicarius ran from the battle and does not have to roll a number. You have 24 hours to make a choice. Failure to make a choice means you have stepped out of the game.
If you ever wind up in combat or a situation that requires you to roll a dice, failing a roll doesn't mean that you fail. You can take up to three "hits" before you are out of the game.
I just took three hits. Does this mean I "died?"
Unlike most CYOAs, there is no death here! You are simply... removed from the game.
..."Removed" from the game?
Yes. Let's leave it at that for now -- it's nothing permanent. n_-
Do we need to wait for you (Marushii) to post before making a post?
Nope! If you wish to interact with those around you, you are free to do so!
The prompts all say "you." Does this mean we're all alone?
Nope! Everyone's in as a group. I am simply addressing every individual character at once. Feel free to ignore everyone else or go off on your own, as long as you select at least ONE prompt!
My character wouldn't do ANY of those options.
Select the option that they would most likely do under dire circumstances.
