Start Setting: The Forest littered with Spider webs and other creepies.
Time: Mid afternoon about 2-3 o'clock
The forest was dark and creepy where Talani stood. It was quiet to the point of Eerie and that was when something always happened. It would be a creepy silent and then a Owl would hoot or a critter would run across the floor of the forest. There was no breeze to be felt.
Talani's fur stood on end at her neck and there was a soft sort of poof to her tail. She didn't remember how she'd ended up in such a scary place, especially alone. She let out a sigh and jerked her head about looking for what appeared to be a safer way out of the forest though she had no idea where in the heck she was. Her eyes settled upon a path that seemed clear of most cobwebs but was less traveled then the others and she went for it. Less traveled was better then icky spider webs' she thought. Talani out of it all would have taken the spider webs if it meant she had company and wasn't alone.

 Jasper padded through the forest in a chirpy mood. Although it was not a perfect day, the overcast and slowly setting fog made him feel energetic and happy. Unlike others, the rain and gloomy day had a different effect on him. He loved it! He loved the rain and the fresh air afterward. He loved splashing in the puddles and getting wet. It was perfect.
On the other side of a curtain of evergreens, Jasper spotted a pretty pink Datsi. She obviously didn't see him. Even though his coat was not exactly the same shade as the trees, it was close. He blended in well.
What was such a beauty doing this deep in the woods? He was puzzled and confused, and being the curious boy he was, he decided to follow her. He watched her through the gaps between trees. She looked frightened but he didn't approach her.

Always shoot for the Moon... Across the forest floor a small critter dashed past Talani just inches away from her front paws. She almost screeched in fear but kept it down to a small gasp as she jumps back a bit. Talani frowns and continues on her way. With a slowed cautious step she makes her way forward again. However not long after continuing on her way something rustles ahead in the leaves causing Talani a fright. In complete fear Talani whips around and scurries back the way she came only deterring slightly heading in the direction of the hidden Jasper.
...because even if you miss you'll land in the stars.

The frightened Datsi walked forward cautiously. Jasper almost laughed as he watched her. Girls... he thought, shaking his head. He stepped forward a little in hopes of helping her, his tail brushing the leaves. Suddenly, the pretty girl came to a halt and gasped. She turned around and ran back the way she came from. Jasper pushed himself deeper in the forest in hopes to avoid being seen. However, he did not take his eyes off her. She was headed for the heart of the forest. Damn, he thought. So much for help. Guess I scared her." Jasper picked up a light trot as he followed the pretty girl towards the spooky part of the forest.

Talani blindly ran in one direction even when it took her through spiderwebs and dirty mucky leaves. If she though about she would probably figure that this was what got her in this mess in the first place. Blindly running and not paying any attention at all. So on she ran till she tripped on a root and went tumbling forward in to a huge batch of leaves. She huffed when she sat up. The trees were thicker where she had ended up and where the sky could be seen above it was growing darker. The warning of an on slaughter of rain.
Talani frowned. Her bright coat would become dark in the rain and the leaves and such would stick horribly. Rain was usually fine but it was not for her current mood or situation. Talani looked about and could even tell which direction she'd come from. The trees crowded so close together made the paths all look the same. Talani sighed and laied herself down and began to stare at the different paths wishing she had some idea where she needed to go

Jasper watched curiously as the pretty girl ran through the sticky spider webs. Most girls find that stuff yucky...very interesting, she is. He followed closely behind her on the other side of the curtain of trees. The pretty girl tripped on a root and fell into the leaves. When she sat back up, leaves were in her fur and stuck out in her hair. She looked funny. Jasper couldn't help it. He burst out laughing, rolling out of the trees and into the leaves beside her.
"Hello." He grinned sheepishly at her.

Talani's pout became quite astonished as someone laughed. Part of her was glad that she was no longer alone but another part was mad that someone found the sight of her amusing. She did her best to put on her mad face and went to look at the one who rolled out of the trees to her side laughinh.
Talani's mean face quickly dissipated when she realized who her new companion was. Him and his sheepish hi nearly mad her day. "Jasper!" Her cry was a mix between excitement and astonishment that he found her situation funny and that he was there. With a frown on her face she sniffed and looked at him "I see in no way how this is funny. I'm sticky from those ucky spiderwebs that are now coated in leaves." Her current distress to great for her to be distracted by his shining and shimmering coat.

He was surprised to here his name. How does she know me? Jasper puzzled over that for a brief moment. Then looking more carefully, he saw that underneath all the sticky spiderwebs and leaves was a girl he had met before. It was the same girl who played with him at the playground and swam with him in the river.
"Talani?" He laughed at himself for not seeing it was her. "Almost didn't notice you there! What are you doing way out here in the forest?" He tilted his head curiously.

Always shoot for the Moon... Talani frowned and wiggled softly looking down at her paws. "I'm not sure how I should take that. Maybe it's just cause it's been awhile." She nodded softly. "I...I... oh I don't know. I haven't the foggiest clue how I got here. I just knew I was here all of the sudden and was lost." She shrugged softly partly still baffled by how she ended up in the forest. She then tilted her head "And you? What brought you out here? You aren't lost too are you?" A look of fear swept over Talani's face as she thought that if he were lost to that they were utterly doomed. She attempted to mask her fear and ended up somewhere short of looking less then pleased.

Jasper watched her, and then frowned.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it in that way." He smiled at Talani. "It's good to see you again. No, I'm not lost. I come here once in a while, you know, to get away from the crowd. I don't usually come this far in though. C'mon, let's go back and we can talk."
He looked around at his surroundings. It was all starting to look similar now. He was pretty sure they came from that direction. Not wanting to scare Talani, he pretended to know where they were going.
"This way, ladies first." He grinned at her.

Talani wiggled in her small bed of leaves that were about her haunches. "Well I'm glad you didn't mean it that way." She looked about in the forst where she was. "Well I'm glad your not lost though I'm not sure why you'd be out in a place like this." She shrugged her shoulders with a slight roll. "To each is own right."She grinned. "Okay" Talani rose off her haunches and shook herself. A few leaves flew of but not many. She'd need a good bath to get the rest out of her coat. She looked to the direction he suggested and started that way. "Thank you, So what ya wanna talk about?"

"Whatever you want to talk about." He grinned at her. He didn't care what they talked about, he just wanted to talk to her.
The path was just wide enough to fit the two of them. Jasper walked very close to Talani trying not to brush her arm though with such a limited space, it wasn't easy. He blushed every time his shoulder met hers. Sorry, he would say, and smile at her.

Always shoot for the Moon... Talani sighed and tipped her head to the side as she thought about what they could talk about. "Well my I guess you could say family has grown by four datsi's." A small blush barely visible under her pink fur creeped across her cheeks at their closeness. She could have sworn that it grew hotter every time their shoulders brushed.
"How have you been since our swim in the river and the race to the park?" She was willing to pause rather then add onto what she was saying. The Trees were still close together which kept the path narrow but the tops of the trees were a little thinner and the pale blue sky could be visible though it was the promise of rain from clouds that made the sky it's pale blue. The pale mist of a fog setting in danced about their feet as they walked.

Jasper smiled. He loved the word family, it made him all happy and cheerful inside. "I have a little sister, she gets on my nerves sometimes." He laughed at the thought of his silly sister. "I don't think you've met her yet, I'll have to bring her around sometime. Have I met anyone in your family?" He tilted his head curiously.
"I've been good, haven't been doing much since our little hang out." He paused, sneaking a sideways glance at Talani out of the corner of his eyes. "I wouldn't mind...you know, hang out again sometime. I had a lot of fun at the river with you." He blushed, and quickly turned away to face the trees. They were thinning, he could tell they were almost at the opening. He grinned at the thought of the surprise he had for Talani at the opening. He was sure she would love it.

Talani tilted her head and listened to his talk about his sister. All of the Datsi's that had joined her family were all younger than her but they had all been adults when they'd joined her family. She supposed they could be deemed little siblings but she really didn't see them as such. "No I think I haven't, I would like to meet her however." Her head did a little bobbing motion as she spoke before she continued ."I don't believe you've met any maybe Cocoa Cream but as for the others I'm sure you haven't." She didn't keep great tabs on her family apparently, she shrugged it off though she was sure she'd find out shortly if they'd ever met before.
"That's great to hear, I quite enjoyed myself that day." She smiled glad that he'd been good. She had been bored since then. Sure she had others but they hadn't seemed to interest her. Maybe that was how she'd gotten out her, perhaps she'd wandered off blindly out of boredom. It was possible. Though she had been thinking she picked up on the continued conversation he carried on with. Hanging out again, more than a chance meeting but actually hanging out with him! It tickled her pink even though she was already pink. She was so tickled pink she almost couldn't think of anything to say but she composed herself enough to respond a little something."I would really enjoy that." Her tail flicked in her excitement and she felt like skipping but she refrained from the skipping.
