I know I always had problems that I just wanted to talk about to someone. Well, I'm here offering a listening ear to anyone who needs one, and advice for anyone who wants it.
However, this thread is only temporary, until I get more funds to add subforums.

School causes my depression. I always feel so out of place with everyone around me, because they actually want to be there--I DON'T. I've always hated it with a vengence, I've always hated to be graded on how well I do rather than how much effort I put into the work, especially since thats all my teachers ever gave me. Just grades, not advice, not tips, nothing to help me make it better. Now I'm in college, and they do do that, but I'm just not used to it, and I sometimes don't take it as well as I should.
I just wish there was a way to make myself fit into the mold again, like I was back in kindergarten. Got any advice?

Punk Bunny XOXO everyone kinda hates me cause im emo and they stereotype me all the tiome saying that why dont i just be a good emo and cut myself till i bleed? Sam Puleo The same thing about me. Whenever I go on my Facebook, or I walk in my homeroom, this GAY-a** KID says: "Hey, emo. Finally cut deeper into your vains?" I completely ignore him because, one, I'm smarter than him, two, I'm doing better than him, three, he's just another useless gangster on the street. Just ignore them, believe me. Take the insults like nothing.

I just wish there was a way to make myself fit into the mold again, like I was back in kindergarten. Got any advice? My high school rarely gave tips and advice also - we took the notes and then explained it ourselves so we got the hang of it - and being open to criticism and advice is something that everyone has to develop - I know I had to when I got into University. It was difficult, but when you're given criticism and tips, you have to bite the bullet and change your approach to your task - I started by taking the criticism, reitterating it over and over and over in my head, showing myself examples of what 'they' were talking about, and then tried to approach my task from the same angle they told me to take. Sometimes, you stray back to the way it once was, but with repitition is the key to memory. Repetition helps you learn and helps you better yourself. Practice makes perfect, and practice means repetition. I know it's not much, but it's late on a friday afternoon and I just had six hours of presentations of foreign governments to sit through. Hope it helped, despite it's insignificance.

It wasn't insignificant, it was actually very helpful. I used it just this past week, actually, your advice. Just keep ruminating, restating, and repeating their advice in my head, and trying to act on it.
