I really will finish a full length fic soon, I promise. I just wanted to write something fast while I wait for Gamestop to open so I can get my Pokemon SoulSilver (What the ******** kind of gamestop doesn't open until noon?)
So this is another Dragonall Z dabble. Because it's fun.
Lost at Sea.
There's a tug on my heart strings, at my hair, in my groin every time I watch you. The sweat glistens down your chest as you labor, one two, one two, pushing yourself to the next plateau of power.
You are very nearly god-like already. How much stronger can you get? You are deified in the minds of your friends and your family, as well as in my own. It sickens me.
I should not be so drawn to you, Kararrot.
I am the prince of all Saiyins, proud and strong. I should be the deified one, the Caesar of our world. I should be the ones the plebs come to when there is danger, the one whom the proles throw flowers at in gratitude.
Yet you turn around in the sun and smile at me, hair wind tossed, chest bare and I am lost at sea. I hang my dripping clothes upon the temple wall as a sacrifice.
Kararrot.
I despise you. I am jealous.
Yet my heart twists it self into knots when you act like I'm your friend.
Finally, one day, when we are alone again; when our children have grown, and your apprentice has graduated.; when we are sparring and the thrill in my muscles aches with our closeness, I will teach you some respect. I will stand upon the brink of our friendship and risk it all. I will make you mine. Count on it.
