Do you use tools for divination? If so what tools and how? Have you ever had an experiance where a tool helped you out greatly?

oh sweet topic!!!! when it comes to divination tools there are alot of choices. runes, tarot cards, and pendulums are the most common ways of divination. the thing is if you were to do research on the subject you'd learn that divination technically just means getting guidance from the divine. so you'd then have to add five different scrying techniques to the mix (mirror, water, flame, smoke, and crystals).
me personally i have used tarot cards with some success.pendulums i'm not good at and ive never tried runes. scrying is pretty difficult but that is my current project that i'm working on.

Interesting. I don't think I would try scrying or pendulums. I do use tarot cards and I hope to try runes but at this point I am working on "perfecting" my tarot card skills first.

My favorite is the tarot deck, mostly because I don't have a lot of elbow room for other methods right now. I'd like to learn runes or cartomancy, but right now I'm poor and haven't found the right kind of either. :3

I did the reasearch on most of these things yet I am drawing a complete blank.

i use my wand to do scrying by drawing a circle is the air over and over and looking through that. the only problem is it requires alot more focus and visualization skills. but it fits me well and is crazy portable since i carry my wand with me whenever i'm not in uniform.

Cartomancy is reading of cards. Tarot cards, oracle cards, poker cards- I'm not sure it really matters.

So I have read different things on wands and staffs. Do you have to have a certaint type of wood for either, or does it really mattter? I have an Athame, but I dont know what to use for a wand.

I have an Athame, but I dont know what to use for a wand. You can buy wands, although making one is always better. As for wood it would depend on your personal preferences and your path could also play in to that. Are there any trees that you are drawn to in particular? I'm still searching for the perfect materials to make myself a staff, it takes awhile to find exactly what you are looking for.
