This is where the ancient tales come alive. Gods and goddesses walk the earth and the mythical creatures of old lore exist alongside them.The Story:
Gods and goddesses have been around as long as humans. They were created to be worshipped. What happens when a religion dies? Do the gods die with it? No. The gods and goddesses are taken to new shores but they do feed off of worship and new gods and goddesses are being created all the time.
New York, New York seems to be a hot spot for gods and goddesses of old. Here in New York the former beliefs strive and struggle and do whatever is necessary to be worshipped again.
Are you a god or goddess? Are you a monster from old tales? Are you a human who still practices old lore, who goes through the city unaware, or who was accidentally caught up in the fued between new gods and old? Bio: Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love. She reigned happily and firmly as a goddess. She grew weak as the temples crumbled and the memory of her faded. She searches with a vengance for any way to restore the old religions and refuses to accept just fading away in the hearts and minds of humans.
Personality: She's vengeful and flirtatious. She loves to be admired. She's regal and doesn't like to listen to others. She can get extremely jealous.
Other: She is able to keep much of her strength by being a prostitute and ordering guys to worship and admire her in bed.

Age: Loves to tell everyone she's 25
Bio: Goddes of Innocence, Persephone and her mother hang out pretty much everyday until she must go back to her husband Hades. She likes both relms and enjoys her time with him but at times its just a bit to dark down there so she tends to "vacation" with the mortals. People don't acknowlage her what so ever so she trys getting people to worship her.

Name:Ares Race: Old God Age: he doesn't have one really, he has been here ever since the first argument though Bio: After the new age not only the reign of the gods is over, but so is the peoples belief in the greek gods Aries had to do something to be both loved and hated, so he went to law school to become a lawyer. He now runs a small practice that is having a lot of success, for some reason all his opponents start to fall apart and fight eachother... for no reason hehehe. Personality: Aries is a hardened man and acts as such. He can be both Passsionate and uncaring in the court, and will tell the truth in most cases. He is brave, strong and in love. Other: He has a crush on the godess of love, and actually spent some of his time hunting her down to win her heart back. Name: Deimos Race: Old minor god Age:20025 Bio: Deimos is the god of terror, and is the son of Aphrodite and Ares. He too like his brother since terror is so abundant he is very powerful. However he was under constant attack until he was killed in a moment of protecting a mortal he fell in love for. His spirit however has entered an eagle, until he can be brought back to life. Bio: Maylene sides with the highest bidder. Twice she has been attacked because of this. But both times she survived to fool someone else. When not hired, she will move around at her own free will, doing what ever she pleases.
Personality: Maylene is trustworthy if you have to right money, or something she wants. If you are a close friend of hers, she might be kinder with payment.
