After the disappearance of the Beoulve clan and the Zodiac stones, Olan (the last known person to come in contact with the clan) claimed that the Murond Glabados Church was involved in the last great war and wanted to control all of Ivalice, and he tried to use the Durai Report to supplement his claims. However, his papers were confiscated and he was burned at the stake for heresy, and the secret died with him.
Months later, a new king is being crowned for all of Ivalice, picked by the church to be a fair and just ruler. It is a festive occasion, nobles are coming from all corners of the continent, and there is no shortage of people joining the military. Rumor has it that, once the king is crowned, the first business of the military will be to start a widespread search for the Zodiac stones and kill any surviving heretics.
The coronation ceremony is beginning soon.

Silver Dragon stood in a crowd of his peers as they passed by him, everyone else hyped up for the coronation ceremony and the dance. Silver, on the other hand, was very impatient. He had hoped to spot Ailish in the crowd so that he could tail her and eventually ask her to dance with him. His face turned pink at the thought of holding her hand.

Ailish started pushing people out of the way and sighed, "Gosh, will you people move. I'm trying to get through too." Ailish saw Silver Dragon and waved to him jumping so he could see her. She was really short.

Silver Dragon noticed Ailish jumping up and down in the crowd, unable to reach him. He held his knight sword in his left hand and his spear in his right hand as he shoved through the crowd and forcefully reached Ailish. "You made it," he said, still slightly pink.

Ailish giggled and kissed his cheek, "Of course, you asked me too. So what did you need to tell me?"

Silver turned bright red and gripped his weapons tightly because he needed something to grip onto. "Would you like to have a dance with me?" he asked in a small voice.

"You mean right here, or at the dance?" Ailish rubbed his arm.

"Um, at the dance." Silver's heart was racing. Why couldn't he calm down? He didn't want her to see how flustered he was around her. "Do you...want to go in? With me?"

"Right, okay," Silver Dragon nodded. He put away his weapons and took Ailish's hand in his, then pushed through the crowd towards the inside. When they were at the dance floor, however, one of the senior knights informed him that he was not allowed to bring weapons into the dance and that he would have to place them in a locker rack. "I'll be right back," Silver told Ailish, smiling at her. He let go of her hand and disappeared through the crowd to put his weapons away in the locker rack.
A few minutes later, a classmate of Ailish's snaked his way through the crowd and approached her. "Hey there, Ailish, you come here alone?"

"Oh no, I'm waiting for my date to come back," Ailish looked the other direction to show she was disinterested in him.

Silver Dragon arrived as Ailish looked in his direction. He noticed the other male classmate uncomfortably close to her, and he immediately walked up to her and put his arm around her. "She's mine," he said aggressively.
The classmate shot daggers at Silver Dragon with his eyes. He swallowed his anger and smiled at Ailish. "Well, I hope to steal a dance from you later tonight."

"Shall we, then?" Silver asked, leading Ailish towards the dance floor. No one was dancing yet because the band hadn't started playing. "Soo, you smell nice today."
