Private RP between Natty and myself. Everyone else out. XD

It was spring. The last of the winter snows were melting. Birds were starting to migrate back and animals to come out of winter hibernation. Trees were turning green again, with small buds appearing at the very tips of branches, making the forest look alive again. Grass was coming back and flowers were starting to poke through soft, rain/snowmelt sodden ground.
It was soggy wherever one walked, but the mare prancing through the muck couldn't care less. Spring was her absolute favorite season. Fall was nice, but it was kinda depressing since all the colors dropped off the trees and animals disappeared to find somewhere to stay through the winter. With Spring, everything was coming back and she was discovering all new things.
Mud caked her lower legs and spattered over her body from where she'd tramped through the puddles that dotted the field, a stark contrast to her pale orange hide. Her Father would feign being horrified, but with a twinkle in his eye and said he'd have done the same thing if he'd been there with her. But he wasn't, which was part of the reason she was so joyful.
Finally, she'd been left alone to explore on her own, without the constant shadowing of one of her herdmates to protect her from everything. The dainty mare still had to be home before dark, but she had the whole day to explore, and get into trouble. Maybe she'd even meet another Soquili, out and about in the newly dawned day.
Stretching her wings, she flapped them once and leapt into the air with a 'whoop'...before folding them and landing with a large splash in another puddle, giggling madly with glee.
