Kira Shuuren the newly crowned lord of the Water and Ice empire, yawned as he sat in a very luxurious chair. He was in a customized type of hover vehicle, similar in design to a sand runner, but it had some slight modifications to allow the vehicle to traverse the icy plains of his empire more easily. This was a very large vehicle, however, because behind the drivers seats, there was a large armor box shape, which served as Kira's quarters. He was extremely well protected in this room, as it had been enchanted and armored many times over to protect it from magic and ballistic attacks. Besides this small fort of a room, heavily armed guards were also stationed in the vehicle, and four 'Ice Speeders', which was the technical term for these close cousins of the Sand Runner, were surrounding Kira's vehicle for protection. He hated having all this protection, but nobody wanted him hurt on his trip to his first meeting as a lord. On top of that, Kira had a feeling that his advisors did not trust his abilities fully, probably because he was only 17. The reason he was chosen to be a lord at such a young age was because he stood out from his peers in terms of intelligence and fighting ability. And in the Water/Ice Empire, when somebody sticks out, they are almost always given a higher status. That's probably because everybody in that kingdoms a clone of each other. He thought. That was not far from the truth, the people in his empire were very much alike, there was only a few high families in the kingdom, around a dozen, so a lot of the people were related and looked similar. They also always looked to higher powers for answers, and they will obey without question. This lack of independence made life in the empire very dull. But it was also a useful tool in battle, as large, identical armies of soldiers were very menacing. Kira sighed again at this large amount of security, another thing that added to it was that fact that he was one of the few remaining members of the Aisuijin race, an endangered species of ice demon. People were always trying to capture him. To had seem like forever since they left for the long ride a few days ago. His empire was almost on the other side of the world from the Church of Eden and the Holy Land.
After a few more hours, a guard came into his quarters. He told Kira that they had reached the meeting chamber and that he was to disembark. He walked out of his speeder to the gate, where two holy guards were standing. They knew his face, as he had been all over the news at the time when he had just become lord, as he was the youngest lord or lady in history. he was quickly let in, and he sat down in the circular enragement of chairs. He was seated in the southern most chair, and the bottom of the circle, and to his right was a much older man himself, the lord of the Earth Empire, Shiro Aarde. And to the right of him, was Shinozuno Horkiko, lord of the Wind Empire, and then, at the top of the circle, Lord Dalen of the light empire, and in the northwest was Lady Faia of the Fire Empire, the only Lady in this generation of rulers, and when Kira look to his left, he noticed Jinsoku Fuzen was not present for the meeting. The High Priest and a woman in a blue dress stood on a pedestal in the middle of the circle. Then the investigation began. Each lord was questioned in turn. When it was Kira's some were rather suspicious and doubted his control because he was so young, but that was countered by the fact that his youth made him slightly weaker than the other lords and he could not of pulled of the theft with his skill. Then the spotlight was on Lady Faia. After much deliberation, it was pointed out that Faia had a very quick temper, and she lusted for power. She also had a deep connection with the lord of the Dark Empire, so he could be hiding the sword for her right now. The high Priest gave his final words.
"Due to her lack of self control and lust for power, along with the fact that she could be planning something with Jinsoku Fuzen, Faia Neshou Hime will now be captured for further questioning!" Well, that made Faia go crazy.
"YOU CAN'T PORVE ANYTHING IM INNOCENT!" She screamed, and the holy guards swarmed her. She was holding her own, however, so the lords began to take action. Kira, his Aisuijin abilities activating, gave him increased speed and he almost got to Faia, when a figure he couldn't see grabbed his wrist and tossed him powerfully into the wall of the chamber, and proceeded to blind everybody with a bright flash of light of magical origin. Kira was quickly attended to by medics. After the flash was gone, Faia was no longer in the room. Everyone quickly decided Lord Fuzen was the cause of this.
