Information: The son of a merchant in New Logue Town, Merak grew up in the shadow of his older brother Sirius, the prodigal son who was to inherit their father's assets. At age eleven, he ran away from home and left Logue Town on a ship as a stowaway. This ship, the Black Albatross, was incidentally a pirate ship. The Captain, "One-Eye" James Lindel, allowed Merak to live as long as he pulled his weight as a cabin boy. Since that time, Merak grew to become the protege to One-Eye and his evident successor. He is skilled with both a blade and a pistol and is know to be utterly cutthroat in battle. However, when not fighting Merak is educated and well-mannered, a "gentleman pirate" as he has come to introduce himself as. He stands at an average height just scraping six feet. His hair is dark brown often mistaken for black with gray eyes.
