After watching this weeks TNA and Smackdown (I missed RAW, but have seen most of the recent ones) I can honestly say that I am beginning to dislike both. Sure, TNA is getting some of the better superstars, and they've got the PG-13 rating, and since I havent watched TNA since late 07, it was kind of strange seeing blood and language in wrestling. But the matches, rivalries and storylines are tired and old. Flair and Hogan fueding.... nothing new there. Nash and Hall rivalry.... seen it.

The match between Hogan and his partner, cant remember the name, and Flair and his partner....again cant remember, was very saddening. I have been watching these superstars for over a decade, and they seem so out of shape, there were so many botches, and they were moving so slow. They should have stayed retired.

As far as WWE goes, their story is getting very lame, the lack of blood and language makes the show very boring, second rate superstars, same people main eventing a lot, even leading up to wrestlemania, in my opinion this has been the most boring year for the WWE for quite a while.

I believe WWE needs to drop the PG rating, drop John Cena from his super high status, push the younger, better talent, have more backstage moments, or basically what i'm saying is basically bring back the attitude era.

any other opinions?

WWE is getting lame and boring and TNA is getting to sappy with the storylines. I'm seriously considering that I'd rather watch something else just to be entertained by the amateurishness of it.

TNA is WAAAY better than WWE. After RVD and Jeff Hardy debuted, that was the knockout blow to WWE. TNA is the new thing and WWE is just a tossed aside rag doll. I'm going to say it: WWE should just shut down because it is losing its fan base and they know it. TNA is gaining more and more fans and the WWE just can't compete.

I've taken to TNA over WWE because they're hiring talent that I just honestly enjoy watching, and their shows pace is a bit faster. Several times I've switched back and forth between channels to have TNA have a short match and a promo done at the top of the show all before someone's even made it to the ring on RAW.

That sir is where you are wrong...WWE just chooses not to compete. Vince isn't going to change anything until he has to. His ratings are still where they need to be and he is pushing his younger talent. I predict a lot of upsets at Mania...start of a new decade means time for new talent. (see my Maina predictions for details)
Personally while I feel that there are a number of wrestlers on TNA that are stars...(none of which by the way were obtained at WWE's pawn shop.) such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Daniels, among a few others, The promo work isn't as appealing, and the backstage stuff sucks. It's TNA: The Attitude Era revisited. Give me a break

Let's get one thing straight.

Back in 2002. AJ Styles worked for WWE, AS A JOBBER! He was jobbed out to The Hurricane on an episode of WWF Metal.
And sometime before WWF changed to WWE Christopher Daniels wrestled for WWE also as a JOBBER.
Also Alex Shelley wrestled for WWE in 2005, he too was a JOBBER. He was Jobbed out to SIMON DEAN.
Even TNA's "John Cena" Samoa Joe worked for WWE, when he was JOBBED out to a Essa Rios on an episode of Jakked.

So yes technically... TNA has always been feeding of WWE's scraps. The only person in TNA that never worked for WWE that is worth even mentioning is Sting.

I knew all that X...I was talking about the big names that jumped when TNA blew up. AJ, Joe, And Shelly were around when TNA first came out and long before it was ever televised...Whereas, the WWE's retirement home seems to have s**t all over TNA's ring as of late. I mean come on....most of the main event talent on TNA has been seen in WWE rings in the last 6 years...don't get me wrong some of them are good...but most of them are just out for money...and it makes for bad television. All I'm saying is WWE has the better talent

Yes. I agree. I mean you compare TNA's stars to WWE and it's no contest. excellent comparison

Sting - Undertaker

It's obvious Undertaker is the far better superstar not only in drawing power, but also talent.

What I'm gettin at is that...

TNA is no threat to WWE, and if they we're they would mostly likely taking popshots at em' like when WCW was actually a threat. But since TNA is practically WCW.. WWE has already beat them and so in extension, WWE has already beaten TNA.

TNA does a crappy job at advertising. You'll rarely find any ads fro them outside some magazines and actually on SPIKE. The closest thing to a big plug they got was Mick Foley on the Daily Show this week.

TNA has bored me the past two Mondays and haven't liked TNA since it's move to Spike. I've liked all of WWE's storylines leading up to WM(some more then others) don't care for any of TNA's storys at this point and time.

Smackdown and NXT both have more wrestling then TNA and Raw that's why I like them better, but I'm losing faith that I'll get back to liking TNA.

Doesn't prove anything, everyone jobs when they're in try-out matches.

Not true my dear Cartwright. Edge was not Jobbed out in he's WWE Try-out match.

Also, as for Sting. I never said he doesn't rock. But you can't tell me that if you put Sting in a match with The Deadman, that you wouldn't root for The Phenom.

That and the Sting you know now is only due to one thing. WCW needed an answer to battle the numbers Undertaker was drawing in at the time. So a dark mysterious character like the undertaker was the only logical choice at the time. Thus... The Man from the Rafters was born. Rafters = Darkside.
