OK! So lets talk about our irrational fears!
I only say this because I have a VERY irrational fear! Like it's SO irrational it's stupid for me to even be afraid of this... It's not only stupid, but because of my personal beliefs, I have no reason to be afraid of this... xd
I'm just going to come out and say it! I am afraid of being tickled by ghosts... sweatdrop
Yeah, I'm SO afraid that a ghost is going to tickle me, that I ALWAYS cover my armpits when I'm about to fall asleep. I can not sleep, unless my armpits are covered by body parts, because I believe that ghosts cant travel through a human body and tickle you!
BUT HERE'S THE KICKER! I don't believe in ghosts! I have never believed that ghosts existed! All those shows to me were ALWAYS made up, people put something a little close to the edge and it fell off an hour later; the windows are a little lose and they slam closed every once in a while, your door was closed a small bit and your window was open, so when somebody opened another door yours was slammed shut, or blown open... Logical explanations for everything!
So the fact that Im afraid that ghost are going to tickle me while Im laying in bed is just... SO STUPID! But never the less, I still believe that it will happen... xd
And how do I fight this fear? Not like I can make a ghost tickle me... Or make somebody prove that ghost don't exist, because I already know that...
SO! What about YOU guys? Any irrational fears? Any idea how I got THIS s**t? Any idea how I can STOP being afraid? I've been dealing with this for about... 6 years? Yeah... Around 6 years... XD

Why tickle?
Edit: But I get my fears mixed up with my rituals and compulsions.
Irrational fears.... Weather is one. I don't like when its too cloudy, windy, sunny, uncloudy, cold, hot. I hear a strong breeze or thunder and I'm calling my mother up or asking someone on the internet if everything is going to be ok (I just checked and everything is going to be ok.)
Anything looking at me while I go to the bathroom. Any books, magazines, newspaper, products that have eyes on them need to be face down or facing away while I pee. I refuse to go to the bathroom at my aunt's house because, well one I don't like going anywhere besides at home, and because she has a picture of dolphins in her bathroom. Thats 6 pairs of aquatic mammal eyes watching me do my business.

Ohh, well, because it started off with being afraid of people tickling me. So I took precautions to keep that from happening, but then I thought about how these "supernatural" beings could bypass these measures by simply going through the blankets.

Apple used to be afraid of a ghost too, but I got over it when I took down the poster that I thought it "lived" in xD But to this day, I don't like scary movies cause it kinda reminds me about it.... >.>

OMG!! On Wednesday night I had the most TERRIFYING NIGHTMARE about goldfish DD: They were in bowls but I was freaking out because I thought I might someday have to touch one. Like if one died I would need to use a scooper to take it out and its fin might touch me. I almost started crying irl I was so freaked out O__O
Its really sad because I thought I had gotten over my fish fear gonk Watch all those fears I "got over" come back now, deer, birds, and so many other things sad

They're just so crawly and GROSS! gonk
In summer I will avoid going into more than ankle-deep grass, unless i have to. Then, I have to check afterwards.
Actually, it's mostly anything that sucks blood. Leeches terrify me. If i lived in a trpoical country, I'd be so afraid of vampire bats crawling on me at night and.... URGHH
EDIT: Also, I can't have any animals in my room when I'm getting dressed. I think it started back when I was little, and reading Harry Potter. I was all like "ZOMG WHAT IF MY CAT IS AN ANIMAGUS AND HE'S REALLY A FAT, OLD GREASY PERVERT THAT WATCHES ME UNDRESS?"

You all are going to think that I'm crazy for this one... and maybe childish...
But, there are times (not usually, but sometimes) that I'll be genuinely afraid of... the dark.
...No, I'm not kidding.. It just feels like.. something... ethereal, is chasing me down, but only if I'm in the dark... I can see light, but if I'm not in it, then... yeah. Not always though, I mean, hell, I can't sleep unless it's pitch black... it just... randomly happens. o_o( )

I couldn't cover my head at night for like MONTHS after I saw that movie... And if I did, I could only uncover it after it was dark out... And then that episode of Charmed where they couldn't go in the "in-betweens"; And Piper got stuck under a street light, and couldn't move because the little creatures were right outside where the light was. Im glad Im not the only person here who has a irrational fears! xd

that one actually make sense because in the dark you can't see anything and there might be something lurking out of sight
i'm scared of having my fingers broken and then they heal all wrong and they're crooked and ******** up for the rest of my life

also those damn lotus seed pods unnerve me like nothing i've ever seen before
i get all itchy and freaked out and mother of god those things are just WRONG gonk

My irrational fear? I'm the opposite of a claustrophobic. I hate wide open spaces because I think I see something at a distance but it really is nothing.

doesn't bother me for some reason.
I'm scared of way too much. The dark, outside, most males. idk, I think most are fairly rational. Except spiders, those ******** cunts. (yet, I feel bad whenever I kill one, so I just free them. Unless my cats eat them first. :/)
Also got the same thing Sibby's got going on. If I'm in light, or with someone, I'm totes safe? If not, my heartbeat gets like a shitload faster, and I have to get into light somehow.
ALSO EVERYONE IS SAFE WHEN THEY'RE UNDER THEIR COVERS

TootsieFruity My irrational fear? I'm the opposite of a claustrophobic. I hate wide open spaces because I think I see something at a distance but it really is nothing. This too.... I drove through Nebraska and was freaking out a bit.
