 Hazalinia paced beside her favorite pool. The sun was setting and the jungle was begining to cool as much as this crazy place cooled that is. The longfurred b'alam wondered why she'd left the cooler lands that were her kinds native habitat. It seemed a good idea at the time. And it had been interesting. There were a wide variety more species of b'alam than she'd ever imagined and she enjoyed getting to know some of them. Others of her own kind roamed the jungle as well and it was a meeting with one of them that had led her down her current path.
She stopped her pacing and crouched for a drink; then sighed as she turned to look at the pair of idols. As if in acknowledgement of their mother's attention the jewels gleamed in the light of the setting sun. Haze's grin was a contrast to her words, "What did I get myself into?"

 Rincavornon watched Hazalinia as she paced beside the pool. He was laying neck deep in the cool waters of the pool. He didn't care much for the heat of the jungle but he didn't care much for the company of his own kind in the mountains. Here the species of b'alam gave him a wide birth. He wasn't sure if it was because of his strange appearance or his size but he used it to his advantage. When he met up with Hazalinia he had made an exception to his solitary nature.
Now he laid in her favorite pool watching her pace while also keeping a vigilant watch to make sure she and their idols were safe. When she spoke he just listened knowing her words had not really been meant for anyone but he had the same feelings inside despite the extremely strong urge to keep both Hazalinia and the idols safe.

Hazalinia turned and returned to the side of the pool. She grinned at the male. Rincavornon was ... interesting. Then again so was she. Given a choice for the most part they both would prefer to be alone but something had clicked between them and now.. well now they would have two children connecting them forever. Still it was as the Goddess wished it otherwise She would not have gifted them with idols.
"Do you wonder what She saw in us?" Haze asked directing her words to Rin for the first time that evening.
