Victoria had met mostly boys, all varieties, but it wasn't the same as having a girl friend to pal around with... She hoped that she'd have something, if not a lot, in common with the person she was meeting.
She without a care in the world sat on the edge of the stage in her uncles cafe with her dad's first violin. She was 'practicing'... Though truth be told she didn't need to do such a thing. She was a natural, a gift from her item. The music she made, made her appear much more enchanting than normal. Every breath, every movement... It all seemed to be planned out to match that of the music she made. Her eyes were half lidded. She was absorbed in her own little world that time was passing by her effortlessly. This was making her wait to meet someone new easier.

Jezebel entered the cafe, followed by her mother, and looking rather cheerful. The child wore a beautiful blue cape with a fake fur trim, and seemed quite content to dance a little to the music she heard. Kerrigan, on the other hand, was rather distracted by the book she was reading, something the woman had brought along to keep her occupied, as her daughter seemed to often run off and socialize with people whenever they went somewhere new.
Noting a child about her age on stage, the brunette headed over that way, instead of waiting with her mother for coffee. "Hello there." she told Victoria, not really concerned with interrupting her practice - why should she be? It wasn't like she was advertised as an official show here, right?

Victoria played a few final notes before settling the violin into her lap. She slowly opened her eyes and settled them on the girl who had just spoken. Despite being interrupted in her practice she smiled. "Hello," she said politely.
"You're around my age, and a girl that looks a lot like me," Victoria grinned as she fluffed her curls. "You must be here to meet me..." Not many approached her so she couldn't help but to assume.
"In any case I'm Victoria." If she had been standing she'd have curtsied however she was sitting and could offer no such gesture.

"Yes, it seems so." Jeze agreed, nodding and smiling, "Though we mostly came because my mother wanted coffee."
"I'm Jezebel." the brunette said, curtsying a bit herself, brown curls falling over her shoulders as she did. "You play very well."

"You have a very pretty name," Victoria said as she sat her violin back into its case.
"Thank you," Victoria blushed. She had never had anyone but her parents pay her any attention while she played. Normally the noises of the cafe drowned her out to where she was invisible. "I hope one day to play along side of my dad and his siblings."
Victoria being mindful of her dress scooted off the stage to stand beside of Jezebel. "Coffee is some nasty stuff," she said as she made a sour face.

"Why thank you." the girl said with a smile, twirling one of her curls.
"Your dad and his siblings play for an orchestra, I take it?" she inquired, now looking at the girl beside her, since Victoria had moved.
"It's not so terrible but I prefer hot chocolate or tea."

"I wouldn't call it an orchestra considering that the only instrument they play is the violin," Victoria grinned. "Something about it being a family requirement or tradition..." she shrugged.
"Tea is alright. However, I prefer fruit juice or water... I'm not really into sweets."
"Would you like to sit down?" She motioned to the nearest table. Without waiting for a confirmation she headed that direction. It was only four steps away.

Jezebel shrugged a bit and went to take a seat, gracefully sweeping her cloak off and folding it to place on the back of her seat.
"We have fruit juice frequently but I tend to find that a bit too sweet at times. Particularly the kind my mother is fond of, though that may not be real fruit."

Victoria watched the other curly hair girl as she folded her cloak on the chair. One thing she could tell is that she was proper or at least pretending to be. "We make our own," she grinned as she tried to get the upper hand on who was better. "It helps that we have a chef in the family."
"Are you hungry?"

"We don't. My mother is in politics, she's not much of a homemaker." Jezebel commented, shrugging. She didn't need to look for flaws in Victoria to feel superior - the girl had plenty of confidence, and pride to boot.
"Not particularly." she said, shaking her head.

"This family has their hands in many things but not politics. From what I understand there has never been a need... They have never be bound to Gaia..." She sighed. She never got to hear much of her grandparents due to the fact that everyone was pretty much tight lipped about it and their recent deaths. She chalked it up to it being a fresh wound that no one was willing to open again and again.
"Alright then," Victoria shrugged her shoulder. This girl was difficult to read. She wasn't sure what approach to take. "If you aren't hungry then what would you like to do?"

"My mother comes from another world, that's where she's involved in the politics."Jezebel explained, peering out the window a bit.
"I really did just come over to say hello and enjoy the atmosphere." Why did people she met in cafes keep wanting to do things?

"I think most every body isn't from here... It is just common ground." Victoria twirled her fingers in the tips of her curls. The windows were a good distance from where they sat so she wondered what exactly had caught her attention. She didn't ask but the girl didn't seem to want to get to personal.
"It is a nice place to sit and relax," Victoria smiled. She decided that pushing her into further activity was pointless... So much for a girl pal.

"There's a man outside who keeps peering in here." Jeze commented after a moment, rather curious about it. He didn't look like the usual sort of person who'd be in here, hence noticing him at all.

"Oh," Victoria said trying to sound as uninterested as possible. "So many people come and go that I hardly notice what is going on in here or out there."
She traced the lines of the table cloth.
