Aika: *blinks awake, the dawn creeping through the tree she had been sleeping under and waking her* mmnn...that time already? *Yawns daintily and gets up kind of funny, stretching her wings out a little* ...eh...? o_o *it was then she realized, something...no, a LOT of things were different* BWAH~!? *cheeps loudly in surprise* the ground was farther than she had remembered it being~ *without a second thought she galloped rather oddly to the small pool in the area and hastily looked down at her reflection...another horse ENTIRELY looked back at her~!!*
I GREW~!!!!
Dusks head had been lowered as he nibbled on fresh grass, his breakfast, when the loud cheeping and galoping steps passed him by. He flicked his ears in the direction the soquili had taken and lightly trotted their way. The cheeping had made him think it was Aika, but as he reached the pool of water he realized it was a mare, not Aika, that had run past him. "Oh, sorry, didnt mean to disturb you miss..." He said as he turned to leave, not realizing that the mare before him was indeed his foalhood friend.
Aika: she was staring into the pool, looking at herself at every angle possible to the point of almost falling in, she didn't recognize herself, the only thing that worried her was...*she arched her neck and looked at her little wings, practically the same size they had been when she was a foal, small...she fluttered them, they were indeed lighter...so maybe...
She heard the sound of hooves coming closer and looked up to find Dusk before her...her violet eyes widened and the practical library of things she wanted to say vanished from her lips. She just stared at him and a embarrassed blush touched her purpley cheeks, what would she say?
He apologized to her and began to leave, her heart sank and she finally managed a strangled chirp " err...Dusky? ...she scuffed a hoof and looked down, her cheeks quite a funny hue...* it's me, Aika...i...er...grew up...i think. Do i look funny? *she smiled a little, hoping that would humor him*
Dusk halted at the chirp and furrowed his brow. Could the mare be Aika? Nah... couldnt be... Could it? He turned his head slowly, looking at the mare from the corner of his eye. Then the mare spoke. "Aika?" He questioned. It seemed as though this mare was indeed Aika; she was the only one after all to have ever called him Dusky. His eyes grew wie as he turned to face his friend, looking her over from head to hoof. Many things had changed about her, only her coats coloring was the same. Caught up in taking in all the differences, not to mention him taking in the fact that his friend had indeed grown up, he missed her question about her looking funny. All Dusk could do was stare, wide eyed and mouth opened. "Wow..." Was all that managed to escape his lips.
