The day had a funny air to it, it wasn't calm as per usual, it seemed angry, uncomfortable and moist. "Rain" The cream/teal/sunset colored mare asked to herself quietly. She eye's her lake, the large body of water reflected an unhappy sky. She wondered what was going on that had caused the world around her to react this way. Was evil nearby? She pondered that thought quietly and closed her eye's.
Reopening her eyes she giggled softly. "What a silly thought." She stated with her giggle tone, she was calm again. The storm coming was just a storm, not some silly symbol of how the day may progress. She bent her head to the surface of her lake and let her tongue hang out lightly to touch it's surface. That's when the first drop of rain hit her pelt. it was a light droplet and they continued to be just light.
She giggled again, softer this time, she hadn't closed her iwngs in time to keep the dampness from her actual pelt, that will poof up after drying if she isn't careful and she'd gotten tickled. "Silly droplets. Go play your game elsewhere." Her smile was lustrous. Loving the day after she'd given up the 'bad day' symbols.

Vapor had grown bored with flying. Scanning the ground, he saw no sign of anyone yet. Deciding he could retain his solitude, he began his decent. Folding his leathery torn wings, he soared to the ground and landed with a soft thump.
The golden stone eyes, set in a black abyss, scanned around him with a slow follow of his head. His eyes were wide, but still filled with a colorless void. Looking for trouble never had a meaner expression. It seems there was no trouble to be found. This gave the stallion both a sense of regret, and satisfaction. He didn't have to be bothered with another, but bothering someone might of been fun.
Snorting, he looked up to the sky. The weather spoke of rain, as gray clouds plumped up, ready for their display. Getting rained on didn't bother him, but he never favored change.
With a disgruntled demeanor, he began to travel across the field, towards the lake in the far. Gold hooves tore at the earth. Vapor froze in his step and folded his wings. Lowering his head, and slowing his breath. Someone was nearby. Like a predator, he did everything he could to remain quiet.
An angeni. Lovely. Seemingly a mare at that. She definitely looked all sunshine and lollipops. Vapors lip curled in disgust. No doubt this mare was kind and sweet. He could fix that..
Creeping up on her with stealth like skills, he had every intention of knocking the unsuspecting mare into the water. Approaching her, and probably seen at the last moment, he bumped into her with the butt of his shoulder, full force.
No "oops" or "excuse me" to play off his dirty trick either. His intent was clear.

"Oof!" Was the only noise the now disgruntled mare could make, she was knocked right off balance by a bright blue force. When she was able to get a good look, after having been submerged and rising again, she saw eye's that turned her insides to a cold stone. Fear struck her instantly and she didn't even find comfort in her massive wing span that tore her free of what had become her momentary space of living.
"How dare you!?" She demanded, voice grabbing at whatever it could to stay steady, she spoke as soon as her drenched hooves touched the ground. She tossed her mane in disgust and narrowed her gleaming, sunset red eye's. She had never felt this before, fury? She pondered it briefly, but kept her eye's on the stallion before her.
His wings, unlike hers, were tattered, torn and almost seemingly unkempt. She looked him up and down a second getting in every blue, cyan, purple and black. His wings were of a bright, but ugly yellow. She couldn't really describe it to herself what she was looking at, especially when she reached his.. three horns? That was new.
"Why on Earth did you do that?" She started up again, finding her voice and better yet, finding the words to fill it. Bells were going off in her head telling her to just run, but something held her there. Pride?

Vapor preened, chest puffing up, head lowering with a glare of self satisfaction. The mare did more than get wet, she was offended by his actions. Perfect.
A wild grin showed on his face as he watched her reaction, not missing a single detail. Her showing fear, only served to fuel the Kalona's mood. This was too easy.
A lone gold hoof pawed at the ground in front of him, before he took a few fast steps towards the mare, thrashing his torn wings with the advance. Baring his horn, he snorted at the seagreen mare.
"I FELT like it." His voice was cold, and rich, almost musical with a tinge of something dark. He held his defensive stance, horn lowered, as he addressed the mare.
Vapor was accustomed to being attacked, and he wouldn't be caught of guard. Never judge by appearances. He wasn't one to start a physical fight, but he was always ready for one if it found him.
Regardless of if he was the type to attack, he remained intimidating to most.

His eye's, his nose, snorting like a beast that she was beginning to see he really was, and his body movement. He was eating it all up, eating up her fear and the appearance she gave so she tried to straighten herself out, she didn't have any time before he came right into her face. Her actions cause her to grimace, she threw herself up and away, bringing her fore legs to his face level, eye's wide in the sudden startle and her wings, large and feathered, were spread wide and threateningly. Her heart screamed no, but her hooves screamed go and as she came down she lashed out which toppled herself backwards into the water.
She had only gotten her body wet and was lucky to have caught herself halfway with her already spread and ready wings, at that point she took on the realization that she should probably get out of there as fast as she could, this may become an air fight sooner then she thought.

Vapor didn't miss a beat. Everything happened in slow motion as the mares wings made haste with a retreat, pulling her up in the air. Her eyes were wild, her hooves wilder still, as they spindled towards his face.
With a thrusted flap of his great leathery wings, he used a single stroke to help him strafe to the side. The side step was under projected. He moved his face, and watched as a blush toned hoof popped out of it's yellow feathers, and sliced into his lower cheek, below his golden rams horn.
A low growl started in the pit of his stomach and bubbled it's way up his throat. "b***h!" The word attached to the growl, rumbled out his mouth in a less than cold tone. This tone was like the hissing of lava when it hit cold water.
The cut bled across first, then began to trickle down his cheek in a thin line that met close to the edge of his cheek bone. It wasn't deep, but it stung.
Thinking about it now, as the mare righted herself back out the water, he should of met her assault head first, and let her feel the sting of his horns.
Each word was overly pronounced, stressing a frame on the sincerity of each word. This was his attack back to her.
He folded his wings and glared at the mare, his head upright, his eyes narrow. It was less entertaining now. Vapor much preferred a fight with taunts and words. Evaluating the situation, and deciding the play was over, he curled his head and raised the feathery part of one of his wings to meet it. He used the soft part of his wings to slowly, dramatically, wipe the blood from his cheek. His eyes stayed locked on the mare, assuring she was watching him.
As he finished, he whipped his head to the side and spit in the water. His cold eyes didn't so much as blink the entire time. Either she would leave, or he would. However, he would not turn his back on her, nor flee if she was still looking to launch her hooves at his face again..

Her nature was odd, she watched him closely as he reacted to the now clean slice on his face, dripping a vibrant red blood against his bright blue pelt His words hit her then bounced away, she suddenly felt bad. "Are you alright..?" She asked, cautiously landing at the edge of the water they stood at and waited a moment before folding her wings, she hadn't meant to hurt him.
She stood her ground, eye's locked with the beast who had not even moments before frightened her to flight. Now he seemed indifferent to what went on. "It isn't deep is it?" She asked, the beast was staring at her, eye's glued and narrowed in an angry glare that had earlier matched his tone, she was still scared, very scared, but her worry for other things fought to be on top of priorities.

The bottom lids rose up over Vapor's void filled eyes. What the hell is she doing now.. he thought to himself as she made a short decent to the ground. Holding his ground, head still, he watched. Suddenly she was brave enough to land on the ground in front of him, AND she was asking if he was alright? Disgusting.
Vapor's hair stood up on it's end, like a cat that ruffles it's hair when hissing at something that startles them. His nose twitched and curled in disgust. This mare began showing concern for him, after he had went out of his way to make her do the opposite.
came his first cold voice, but without the richness of excitement in the moment. Things had turned sour...very sour. As he finished his statement, he took two steps back, decided she was no threat...and turned his back on her.
Taking a slow paced retreat away from her, he only stopped and turned back to sneer and shake his head in further disgust, before continuing to walk away.
What a waste..

Nokomis was concerned, but not completely stupid beyond what had just happened. The stallion was obviously alright or else he would not have just wandered away like that, in Noko's mind anywho. "Ah well.." She sighed lightly, the bad gone and fear vanished the day seemed to recognize a threat gone and slowly the sun appeared from beyond the clouds.
"Good afternoon Sun, seems we had a bit of trouble down here, silly stallions attacking mares! She snorted in disgust, all males should treat mares like gold and vice versa. She nodded in approval of her own thoughts before zoning out, eye's gazing at the water before her.
