Rasiel has stopped at the door of the dormitory buildings as he had seen Deskri coming from the outside. He turned back and swiftly walked back down the hall going toward the girl's side of the dorms. He glanced at the list, made a note which room he wanted to choose then quickly made his way inside Sonnet's room. Closing the door behind him, he stood in the dark room and moved behind the door to wait for Sonnet. He slid down to a sit and listened out into the hallway for her footsteps. His head was hurting bad, and Obscurite was pushing to get out, but Rasiel fought hard to stay in control. At least long enough to talk to her. Maybe she could provide some answers. About Deskri's bad thing, and about Deskri. Maybe she'd know if Deskri felt anything for him. No. He could never ask that. If only, he could just hide from Deskri and the shame of his deeds, maybe Sonnet could help him. Or maybe even help him apologize to Deskri. The thoughts ran so close together that they began to overlap and become nonsense to him. His thoughts were racing a million thoughts a second as he placed his hands over his head, trying to struggle to make Obscurite stop trying to take over. Rasiel just hoped Sonnet would come to her room soon so he could just talk to her about Deskri, or anything for that matter.

What a rough day. She had really been hoping that she didn't have to deal with Deskri's bad thing today, but alas, her hopes had once again been dashed. Still, it came out all right in the end, or at least for the most part. As far as she knew Rasiel was still out on the run, hiding from... Syth? It was Syth right? She couldn't remember. She just hoped that he was all right, and that his bad thing wasn't causing any more trouble, but then again, one hope had already been dashed today, but it didn't keep her from hoping all the same. Her currently tiny wings fluttered with her thoughts, showing the outside world just how quickly her mind was racing.
She opened the door and walked inside, flicking on the light. She had a problem of leaving her door open, and this was no exception. She was too focused on what she wanted to work on first to remember...

Rasiel had almost fallen asleep from waiting, but tried his best to stay awake so he could keep Obscurite at bay. Suddenly, he was awoken by the sound of footsteps coming to the door. The door swung open and he stood quickly, trying to keep his balance. He shut the door behind Sonnet as she entered and darted forward quickly, grabbing her shoulder. "..s-sonnet.." he spoke softly, as he tried to get her attention. He had no idea that what he was doing could even be considered bad or startling. He just had it in his heart that he wanted to talk to Sonnet more than anything.

The feather's on Sonnet's wings fluffed out a bit, and they got a little bit larger as she grabbed the hand on her shoulder, lifting it off of her shoulder and spun around. The air around her got dense as she prepared to possibly keep an attacker at bay, but when she made the full 180 she saw that it was Rasiel, and that he wasn't looking all that well.
"Rasiel! You startled me!" she said with a meeping sound in her voice. Oh how she hoped that it was Rasiel and not his bad thing.
"A...are you all right? Do you need to go to the nurses' office?" she asked, slighly worried about his wounds that she saw him sustain near the lake.

"I-i'm sorry" he muttered as he pulled back his hand when she whipped around to face him. "I'm fine.. I'm just..." he paused and sighed, moving to sit down on the extra bed in the room. "I'm just scared..." he confessed, burying his face into his hands. "You seem to do so well with Deskri? He's been with you so long and he looks like he's gotten better. I mean, what's the secret? Is there something that I'm missing?" he asked, obviously in an emotional wreck. He was completely disregarding Obscurite's talking in his mind. He just wanted to talk to Sonnet, and ignore Obscurite, as he no longer cared what Obscurite thought. "I'm sorry I came here... I just wanted to hide from Deskri.." he took a deep breath and uncovered his face, looking up at her, his eyeliner smeared from his crying earlier. "Please help me, Sonnet.. I don't know anyone else to talk to...I just... I mean, I just need someone to talk to.. I'm sorry.."

Sonnet placed her hands on her hips, though her face was nothing more then compassion and worry for poor Rasiel. "Don't apologize Rasiel. It's fine, I promise..." she said in a soft soothing voice. She motioned over to the dorm's two empty beds.
"Now lets just sit down, ok? I don't have any chairs yet, so the bed will have to do for now..." she herself moved over to them and sat on one, looking at Rasiel expectantly.
"Now, I want you to take a deep breath, and then start out with one question. It's not good to have so many out floating in the air at one time, so let's just take them one by one. I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. That sound ok?"

Rasiel watched her sit now, trying to calm his breathing. He nodded, almost like a child would and came to sit next to Sonnet. "..uhm.. where to start.." he mumbled, fidgeting with the straps on his pants. He thought of all the questions in his mind and tried to sort them down to one single question as a starting point. "How do you do it?... I mean, how have you handled Deskri all this time?" he had paused mid-way to revise his question, hoping Sonnet would understand what he meant and be able to get an answer.

Sonnet gave a rather sad smile. "That's a good question to start I suppose..." she said before looking up at the ceiling for a few moments.
"I have often have asked myself the same question really, and my answer has always been the same..." she started, still looking up at the ceiling. "I...just do...I guess...I just can? I know that's probably not the answer you're looking for, but it's just how I am. Not everyone can handle someone with those conditions, but I can adapt fast, keep myself safe enough so I can still be there for him when he needs me. Grasping onto the knowledge that even when Kagyaku is at his strongest, that somewhere deep inside is the Deskri I've gotten to know over the years keeps me going, keeps me trying. I guess it's what I'm good for. Lord knows I'm probably useless otherwise..." her voice trailed off for a few moments before looking back at Rasiel.
"Sorry if that isn't very helpful," she said with an apologetic laugh.

Rasiel listened to her, watching her intently, his eyes following the lines of her face. She was so gentle and delicate. It was almost an amazement to him that her skin remained unflawed from dealing with Kagyaku all those years he had been gone. Rasiel remembered seeing her once when she was a child, just a glance, but now she was older and more beautiful. He almost lost himself into his thoughts as he stared at Sonnet.
"Idiot."
The small comment from Obscurite was enough to snap him out of his small daze. "I never noticed how.. pretty you have become." he commented softly then shook his head, regretting he had said that aloud. Taking a deep breath. "You're brave. To be able to handle Kagyaku. I kind of understand what you mean." he responded, remembering how Andy had stayed by his side no matter what Obscurite had done to her. He knew he couldn't feel more than to just be friends with Andy since she was his cousin. But thoughts surfaced of the possibility of Sonnet. The many outcomes played through his mind. She reminded him of Andy and Kae put together. Loyal, motherly, and beautiful. Rasiel began to smile softly as he looked down to the ground and then out into the room.

Sonnet blushed slightly at the compliment, and though she disagreed to a point with the said compliment, she desided not to dwell on it any longer.
"Brave, stupid, it has many words to describe it, depends on who you ask," she said with a sigh before looking at Rasiel.
"So, that was one question. Anything else on your mind that I can help you with?"

Rasiel wanted to protest the words she spoke that suggested that she was stupid and not so brave. "I don't think you're stupid.." he commented, frowning. For some reason, he couldn't help but want to defend her honor. How could Sonnet not be brave. He was brought back by her mention if he had more questions. "I really can't think of too many... maybe we could just talk instead..." he looked around the room, searching for something to talk about. "So, do you stay in this room by yourself?" he asked in curiosity.
"Must you have puppy love for every living person you talk to?"
Rasiel's face twisted slightly at Obscurite's hurtful comment. Rasiel didn't want to believe that he'd just blindly fall in love with just anyone. However, Rasiel forced himsefl to believe that it was more reasonable to like Sonnet than like Deskri. Still denying that loving another male was okay, as his sister had claimed. His mind was in complete conflict of his feelings and opinions. Obscurite was starting to push now, using the opportunity to press him in his moment of inner turmoil.

"That sounds like a plan," she said with a half smile. "Talking's fine with me. Everybody needs somebody to talk to anyway..." she mused before listening to Rasiel's question.
Her eyes lowered, and she began to wring her fingers ever so slightly. "Ummm...yeah...I'm currently by myself. I sort of asked if I could room here alone until my condition improved..." she said, not looking at him as she felt rather embarased about the whole situation.

Rasiel blinked, curious about it. "Condition? Are you alright?" he asked, looking worried about her. His eyes seemed to dart over her, looking for anything that he could noticed might be wrong, but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Obscurite was running a muck in his mind, pushing him, taunting him, trying to find a way to get Rasiel to break his concentration on him. Rasiel winced only slightly, but generally kept his guard up to Obscurite for now.
