Its a Forest!
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well.
This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Alice cringed when she saw the trees... Not this field again. Chewy wasn't going to like this.
Chewy growled. He did NOT like this.
"Don't worry, buddy. We'll win this time, promise."
Blah blah blah... Thats what she always said. The Poochyena rolled his puppy eyes and trudged his way out onto the field. Who were they fighting this time, a Gyarados? Dragonite? It HAD to be something that was going to smash him immediately, the way his luck had been going.

"Swa bluuuuuuuu~!" Chirper thrilled as he skillfully maneuvered through the lush forest and found a comfortable perch on a high-up tree branch.
Luna adjusted her straw sunhat snuggly against her head in nervous anticipation.
Inhale. Exhale.
Inhale. Exhale.
The trainer swung her arms in a small loop before gripping them into tight fists and drawing them close to her chest.
"Okay, let's do this!"
"Bluu!"

"Alright, Chewy, Lets start this off right. Get that bird with thunder fang!" Chewy was relieved, somewhat, that he wasn't the underdog. Not that it meant he couldn't lose. He lost against a cat. And a bat. At least Bird didn't rhyme with either of those. Bear didn't either, but that didn't count. That was different. "Chewy! What are you doing?" He shook his head. Battle was not the time for drifting off into thought. He barked at the little cloud-bird and took off running, charging up his fangs as he closed distance. 800/800 ((Haha, pun))

Chirper flew off from his perch in a bustle of cloudy down, easily avoiding the Poochyena's attack.
Luna took no time in ordering a counter attack. "Chirper, ice beam!"
It took the small bird pokemon only two wing strokes to change its flight path to face the poochyena before firing off a beam of shining blue-white light.

Chewy's jaws clamped around feathers, but no pokemon. He paused and tried to get all the nasty down out of his mouth, flicking his tongue and making a retching face. Chewy didn't notice the ice beam until it he felt the cold sting of ice forming around him.

"Again!" Luna swiftly ordered.
Chirper let out a quick "Swa!" of understanding and once again circled his flight path so that he would have good aim at the half-frozen dog pokemon. A small sphere of light began to gather in Chirper's open mouth before it escaped in a chilling straight line towards Chewy.

"What the-!?" Chewy was encased in MORE ice... which would take a long time to thaw in this un-heat. She shouldn't have made that promise to him. [Frozen: 1/4]

Luna breathed a sigh of relief. Phase one of her attack plan complete! Now onto phase two. "Chirper, great job. Now let's kick back and enjoy the wind!"
Of course, Luna didn't actually mean that. It was their code for the small bird's next attack. Chirper returned to perch on yet another high-up branch, landing gracefully with wings outstretched.
The wings remained outstretched as the bird's eyes glowed ominously and a mysterious purple wind permeated the battlefield.

(Ominous wind can raise all stats as a side effect, thus I used it to raise my attack stat instead of do damage. It's sorta the same concept of icebeam used both offensively and as status infliction)

Ugh! COLD! If he could just... wiggle... his... Nope. Not happening. Where was that bird? Chewy couldn't see anything except sort of... bluey-ice-colored ice. His nose itched, holy arceus, thaw faster! He heard some muffled yelling. Was it the other trainer? No... Alice. He had no idea what she was yelling. [Frozen: 2/4]

From above, Chirper once again fired up another ray of chilling blue light. By the time was over, the two would properly instill in fear of ice into the Poochyena.

OW! What was the point of that?! Ice on top of Ice, thanks. The ice thickened in the spot Chewy was hit, but the extra weight caused another section of ice to start cracking. [Frozen: 3/4]

The small bird continued to relentlessly fuel a steady beam of ice towards the quickly-thinning layer that surrounded the poochyena. They were going to milk the frozen status for all it was worth.

Unfortunately for the little bird, all that weight was adding up to a free Poochyena. But it sure did hurt... Chewy managed to wiggle his itchy nose. Ahh... much better. Now he'd be able to concentrate when he got free. [Frozen:4/4]
