 Minuet was on the road again! Once again she'd managed to slip away from Cuauhcoatl's ever watching eyes! She was starting to wonder if he was letting her run off on purpose now, probably sensing the fact that she hated being stuck to his side all the time, and she needed a larger roam then just the old herd lands. Plus, everyone need to get away from Cabriole's singing! She just didn't have the heart to tell him he'd somehow missed the family's natural talent. So, every now and then she'd skip into the forest for a small get away, and to hopefully find something to add to her collections.
Today, she was in her usual meadow, where she'd met Liella and they'd spent the afternoon running their own Kingdom. She'd made a real friend that day, and since then it was on of her favorite places to return to. Mostly because it was where she hid her collections. It was a lovely day outside, and instead of wandering around anywhere, she decided to dance, she preferred to practice alone, where no one could see her mess up, not that she did often. She hadn't practiced singing in a while, and so she sng quietly as she pranced around.

 The little colt was glad to be away from his family at the moment. Ever since that 'incident' at the lake, he tried to distance himself from them. Especially his father, who caused the mess in the first place... Not only was he angry at him for doing such a stupid thing, he was angry at himself for being so worthless.
That's another reason why he was out here. If his sister can slip away and have adventures all the time, why can't he? Rakko was determined to come back in one piece this time, to make up for the lake incident.
He didn't wander too far off before stumbling across a little meadow. And he didn't realize how much all this walking had tired him out before now. Rakko Aquila was still rather fresh from his basket, and that time at the lake only made him exhausted more quickly. He was breathing heavily as he cantered along, only to pause when he heard... singing?
It came from a blue filly, decorated with scarves and bells. Rakko was torn between rushing up to greet her and staying where he was, cautious and a little scared. He hasn't ever seen another Soquili, not without his family around... The foal instead choose to act somewhere in the middle, walking slowly towards her and ready to bolt at a moment's notice.

Minuet had been so distracted by her own thoughts and twirls, that she didn't notice the other foal until she spun around and basically came face to face with him. She squeaked and stammered backwards a bit, she was easily startled, most likely due to her oblivious and quiet nature. She blushed, after realizing it was simply a little colt in front of her, just standing there now. She wasn't sure if he was going to speak or not, but after about a minute of them standing and staring at each other, she finally decided it was time to speak up.
"Um...hello. Sorry...I kinda...spooked when I saw you. I'm used to practicing alone...and well...you just...kinda sneaked up on me." She was blushing now, nearly matching her pink lightening bolt along her side. How embarrassing, she felt like a jerk for being startled, but at the same time, he really had just appeared out of nowhere. Then....why was he even out here anyway? She didn't see a lot of foals around her little meadow.
"I'm Minuet, nice to meet you...?" She ended it in a question, hoping to make up for her earlier rudeness.

Rakko squeaked just as loud as the other foal, which made him even more frustrated that before. Did he really have to do that in front of her? At least he didn't run away. While she was speaking to him, he was calming himself down and willing himself not to screw up again.
"M-my name is Rakko." He told her after Minuet gave her name. "It's nice to meet you too..."
At the same time, he was wondering why the filly was here, alone in the meadow before he showed up. She said she was practicing. Singing? He heard her singing something before he spooked her. And she had a nice voice too, not something he would hide away from anyone else.
"Was your singing supposed to be private?" Rakko stammered out. "I'm s-sorry to barge in like that!"

Minuet was a little worried that he'd just get up and run, that's probably what she would have done if he'd turned out to be something scary, but he stayed and gave her his name. Rakko! It was kinda cute, and run to say. She smiled and shook her head, usually she sung in front of a large group of soquili from her herd, but it was nice to get out on her own a practice too. Plus, this way, Cabriole wouldn't realize how bad he was compared to her.
"No~ In fact it's nice to have an audience, they can tell you what you're doing wrong, I just wanted to be alone for a while." One day she hoped to stumble out into the woods and run into her mother, or maybe even her missing sister and father. "But! Now that you're here, maybe we can play together!" She was known for her vivid imagination and love of games, so she was really up for anything, and it'd be nice to play with someone her own age for once! She was always hanging out with adults. And adults always got really boring, especially because to they always had some moral they wanted to teach you. Boring~ Kids just wanna have fun!

Oh, so he wasn't intruding on anything. That's good. Rakko was able to relax a bit more, and wasn't even scared of her anymore. She was just like him, a foal that wanted to get away from adults for once... except she had the courage to sing in front of audiences, something that he could probably never do.
"Play? I can play!" Rakko was smiling now. He didn't exactly get a lot of playtime, with his sister off roaming around and his parents... doing stuff. "What do you wanna do?"

Minuet smiled, finally someone awesome to play with! As active as she was, she didn't get to play with a lot of foals her own age, or more accurately, her own size. Adom was her age, but he was a usdia, and was a little too tiny to play certain games with. Though, she still treated him like a lost brother. She pondered for a second about what they could do, and came up with a few ideas.
"Well, we could play tag, we could pretend to be a prince and a princess, or we could go to the beach and play in the waves or collect shells." All of those sounded like fun ideas to her! She could play anything and have fun, so she'd let him decide.
