I just happened to glance at my profile and realized that tomorrow, March 11, I'll have been on Gaia for five years.
So what are your fond memories of your time on Gaia?
When I first joined I mostly hung out with my friend who got me into Gaia to begin with in a bar with a bunch of werewolves.
I wasn't into werewolves so much at the time so I was the resident cat.
(Obsession with cats at the time instead)
And it was tons of fun.
I used to chat with them for hours and hours.
Sadly the thread died and the regulars, along with myself, have mostly drifted away.
But for a guild related memory on Gaia
I've got two words.
SPAM.
CONTEST.

same here I was chatted for long times in different random threads mostly where there was prizes and RPG's..then I got into guilds.. went from one guild to the next looking for some hub or something.. people would go in regularly.. then I got here.. ^_^ where i found some nice people.. smile

Wow! I've been on gaia since 10/28/2005!
In the beginning I used to always wonder around forums and had a ton of fun there. I used to love towns. For quite some time I opened an art shop thanks to a gaian friend KamiKaze and I worked together with him gathering customers and me doing the artwork. It was later that I made the guild and everyone joined up. ^_^
I have a ton of great Guild memories.
I think the best guild 'party' though was the first Guild anniversary party we held!! Now that was fun! heart

lol, it's been about... 3 1/2 years since I started Gaia. This was my first time ever having my own personal e-mail. (my friend let me use her yahoo account to start up this one, and then I switched out later.) So the first time I got on Gaia was the first time I ever ventured into the world of chatrooms, guilds, and so forth.
As for Guilds... my best memory was recieving an invite to this guild outta the blue on another avi. (used to be malacai_bathory) First guild ever, and is still one of my favorite places on Gaia. 3nodding

In October, it'll be 6 years for me. I liked it better back then, it was simpler, and there was actually some value to gold. 40,000g = you rich.

Been here since '07 hahha. Cause my niece introduced it to me (my family is complicated, my niece and newphew are all older than me >< ).
Uhm, used to play the games to destress, and ventures towns and rally xD Made some really cool friends! And found this guild cause I LIKE PURPLE hahaha xD I typed in purple and this guild showed up(: I like it around here(:
PS ive been busy with sch, its my 1-wk break now!!

Gaia was my first chatroom/forum too.
That's really cool though.
It's still one of my favorite places too.
I was actually skeptical of the guild at first though because around the time I was invited I seemed to be running into a lot of shady people so a random invite to a guild was strange.
But I'm glad I joined!

I remember feeling great that I had 10-20k
I could buy anything I wanted.
Now that gets you nothing.
I forget about those times a lot.

Haha, I used to have a nephew like that.
(Used to because he was in the family by marriage and the marriage has divorced.)
That sounds like fun.
