Toooooooooo tired to think of conversation
Toooooooooo much hard work talking to people at work
  x.x
  It's a vicious cycle
You need to go out and do 'interesting things' with your free time (watch movies, go to parties, or shows, or exercise, or whatever)
In order to have something to talk about
Yet working makes you tired to do much of those things, and then packing in all that stuff in your free time is tiring too because you don't have any down time
I don't think I'm even making any sense
  Need to sleep earlier
Just wanted to make a poll before I sit in front the TV for the rest of the night

Well... I just started a new job. And I want to make a good impression/get to know people. It's a lot easier to start a conversation if you've been doing stuff - it just gets the ball rolling. Particularly since I'm obviously working with a lot of older people (like, senior managers and partners), so you can't really relate to them about the same things as people you're own age or level. It's still a pretty conservative work environment and I'm on probation for the first three months, so I still have to watch what I say.

It's my first job after finishing uni and it's a big accounting firm. xd That should be explanatory enough, given the stereotypes floating around about accountants! Actually, everyone's really nice and it's not that stiff and formal - but it's still the corporate world, you know.

I think so. rofl
It's a steep learning curve so I don't always completely understand what I'm doing. Started learning excel which is ridiculous.
