Well as the topic states, i was just wondering what any one thinks of the anime version compared to the manga? Or just plain what you like about the manga/anime.
Here's a short description of the series for those who don't know:
Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at the prestigious Ouran Academy. Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, a place where the Ouran Academy Host Club, a group of six extremely attractive male students, gathers to entertain both male and female "clients". Haruhi accidentally knocks over and breaks an antique vase valued at ¥8,000,000 ($80,000 US) and is told to repay the cost in service to the club. Haruhi's short hair, slouching attire and gender-ambiguous look causes her to be mistaken by the hosts for a male student. The hosts all agree that Haruhi would be a good host, thus making her join the host club. Ultimately she agrees to join the Club as a host herself (dressed as a male) in order to pay off her debt. She agrees to join since she does not mind hosting as long as she can pay the debt off faster. (from wikidepdia)

Well, I've seen the anime all the way through and really wish that they would go on with it. >.<
I really loved it.
As for the manga, I started reading it a while back but haven't been able to find the books very easily. It's taken me at least 2 years to get from book 1 to book 4.
I know I can read it online, but this series is just one I'd really like to completely own. <.<
I kind of do like the manga more, though.
I'm not sure why . . .

hmmm they're all available in WA, at least 1-12 are. But i think the manga is better than the anime, but they're both great smile

I kinda like both. Very hard for me to choose but I've only read to book 5 and I've seen the whole thing of the anime (now own it on blu ray *dances around*). Kinda like the anime but that might be because I haven't been able to read more of the books

worldofbooks96 does anyonw know when the next book in the series come out? there hasn't been a new book here in what seems like forever! If you're asking about volume 14, then July 6th, 2010 is when it's coming out. As for in Japan, I'm not sure how accurate it is, but according to hereOuran is on Hiatus for LaLa Issue #11. D= (I know, I'm a geek)

worldofbooks96 ok thanks! you know a lot about manga smile more than me.... and my friends think i'm a manga geek...... biggrin Lol. I just get bored a lot. xD With google at my fingertips, it's no wonder I learn a lot about stuff I love. Of course, half the time I'm looking stuff up, I should be doing something productive . . . like homework. xD
