Grams was sleep, Grams was always asleep before 9 when it came to nights that weren't poker nights. She always said the same things. Brush your teeth, go to bed early, there's milk in the fridge and cookies on the table, if you go out stay out of trouble.
If you go out stay out of trouble. Those words as well as, something to the effect of don't get yourself killed pup. Echoed through his mind. He'd invested in a bat, and ball. One of those damn near unbreakable bats. He'd see how long it lasted.
He stopped somewhere down the dimly lit street eyes closed feeling the closest one. He didn't care how many thought he was crazy, he figured though the bat and baseball would keep him from being questioned. If they asked he was helping some kids learn to catch the ball. You didn't get dirty helping kids by hitting a ball and letting them catch it. They got dirty, thus the ball and it did look slightly used, which might help the cause.
He had the bat swung over one shoulder, ball held in the other hand. He opened his eyes suddenly. Looking in a direction, "That way." He murmured. He headed down the block and was hanging a right, the feeling was growing stronger. Granted it was moving too, probably away from him because the sense stayed the same after that brief burst of feeling closer to it. "Damn it stop moving." He growled as his pace quickened.

-Polaris was totally patrolling on her own. Again. Despite many warnings and many battle examples as to why she should not. She'd call for help if anything appeared, she assured herself. But with all the senshi roaming the streets, she half expected to run into another one. And networking wasn't a bad idea at all.
Padding along the rooftops she stared down at the dark and cold streets of Destiny City, surveying the area. There were negaverse around.. and youma... aliens and corrupted senshi. The world was a dangerous place, especially for a champion of justice.
Movement caught the corner of her eye, and she pivoted, following the dark figure curiously. Though dark that figure looked humanesque.. could be one of those aliens though? It was carrying something though, that much was for sure.
Suspicious, Polaris tailed after the dark figure, trying to draw in closer for a better look.-

The feeling seemed to grow weaker again. He paused looking confused it must've turned another corner. Tracking this things was harder than it looked. He sighed sat the bat down to his side and closed his eyes again. Granted that might've been a stupid thing to do if there was going to be someone attacking him.
However tonight had been rather quite, save the monster that was seemingly the most likely to be up to no good. After a few seconds he moved forward again and hooked a left into an ally way. "This blasted thing is going in circles. Damnit." He said maybe a bit louder than he should've.
The one following him might have recognized the voice as belonging to the guy with the puppy styled hair. He didn't even bother to look up on the roof tops to see if there was anything there. It'd take too long to climb those stairs. He couldn't just jump and defy gravity you know. Bat once again on his shoulder he was hurrying to catch up with it.
"Mel'd probably kill me if she knew what I was do..." He said to himself. Pausing near the end of the sentence and blinking, "... why do I even care what she thinks?" He mused shook his head and continued on his path. Unaware someone might actually try to stop him.

-As he paused for a long moment, Polaris took the chance to draw as near as she could, knealing on the rooftop to gaze down at the strange figure. She was too far away to really make sense of the words or voice, but as he began to move again the dim light of the street light caught his face, and her eyes widened in surprise.
Azzo!? Out here.. in the middle of the night...? Carrying a bat? Her fingers tightened their grip on the bricks they'd been resting on, her throat clenching. Wh.. what was he doing? Surely... surely he wasn't some sort of.. trouble making street punk? But what other reason was there to be out this late at night?
Her stomach swirled, mind running wildly away with itself. He'd seemed so sweet.. so kind. Perhaps she'd just been fooled? Maybe she'd been right all along in her fears of boys. Trouble.. trouble to the end.
He was moving.. and there wasn't anytime anymore. A sad frown had cut harshly across her carmael colored face.
There was a thud as her boots hit the street, along with a woosh of air as she lifted, steadying her body despite the impact of the long drop. The tiny breeze rustled the edges of her fuku and braids, but otherwise she looked like a statue as she boomed, voice cold and steely.- "Azzo. What are you doing?"

Azzo froze on the spot. Looking around, "... I'm uh....." He scratched the back of his head still under the street light, a noticeable embarrassed blush at being caught by apparently someone that knew him.
"I needed time to think." He said suddenly, "I'd finished helping some kids with baseball practice, a few hours ago and I just haven't gone home." He paused looking around.
"Who wants to know?" He tilted his head mentally he was still following the Youma that he felt, it was getting away, damn it. He stood there facing towards where he thought the voice was coming from. Please believe and let me go, it's getting away.

-Apparently she was just far enough away to still be obscured by shadows, so as his question sounded, she stepped forward more clearly into the streetlights with his answer.- "Guiding star, Sailor Polaris, champion of justice."
-The last words almost sounded like a warning.. a threat.. incase he did have some ill intent out here in the dark night.
She took his explaination far more easily then she would have regularly. Hoping beyond hope that it indeed was true, illogical as it might have been. Please let him be good and kind. Please let him not have tricked her into a false sense of security.
Features softening lightly, she motioned over her shoulder.- "I see... It's far too dangerous to be out here after dark. I'll escort you home."

Azzo paused looking at her. "I... I don't know you." He said with a pause looking at her, "but obviously we've met. I've only met a few sailor scouts... In the hospital."
He lowered the bat to his side, he looked at her tilting his head. He looked like a curious puppy, and a hit of he'd done something bad. He sighed and shook his head, "Yes."
He paused, "... yes I know, I feel them." He said with a hushed voice eyes trailing off towards the route he'd been taking. It wasn't that he wanted to hurt her, no he wanted to help the scouts. He wanted to know why he could feel them.
"Can you feel them? Or am I going crazy?" His last words sounded a little sad, hoping he hadn't actually gone crazy. "I don't want them to hurt anyone else. They tried to hurt people in the hospital..."

-Crap.
She hadn't even thought about using his name, too caught up in the moment. She didn't even try to explain it away or back pedal, her expression changing to concern as he spoke.
What was he talking about? Or who rather? Her eyes settled on the bat for a moment. 'Feel'... That was kind of scary.. not.. normal.- "Who..? Who do you feel? Whos hurting people?"

He moved to lean on the building. It was probably gone by now. Hopefully away form where he thought it might be headed. Well... not gone he could still feel it but if she wanted to stop him....
He was quite for a long time, "Not who...." He said softly honey brown eyes turning up to the sky, "What..." The bat was still rested there. He turned his eyes towards her.
"You probably think I'm crazy. I know... no one believes me... not even the ones from before... the ones I can't remember but should...."
He shook his head before turning it to her, were there tears? "I feel the monsters here Polaris.... I feel the youma move, like... like I know them...."
He took a breath, "Somewhere about a block up some blocks over... there's one after.... whatever they're after.... I forgot what they were called." He sighed, "I ran into one in the hospital, three sailors rescued me and Melody..."
His eyes gazed above her now, "I have to find out why... I have to get answers to this puzzle." He chuckled softly, "I'm no good at puzzles... All I know is I've lost control of my life, my mind, and they seem to be a pretty good lead as to finding out why...."
He shook his head, "I really have gone crazy huh? Whatever happened in that place.... that, that, organ ring.... I need answers Polaris..."
He paused eyes gazing over the other way, it was like he heard something, or maybe something nostalgic was kicking in, "Mel?" He said softly, "Mel have you been here this whole time?" In the background there was a faint music, or at least what Azzo thought. Granted he already officially considered himself off his rocker, completely bonkers by now. "Maybe I'm just hearing things...." He said before anyone that might've been there had time to answer... His eyes were still glimmering in the light of the street lamp....

Melody Klein had gone out for a walk, needing some thinking time away from Esen. She loved her roommate, really, just... At the moment she didn't know what all she felt comfortable talking with her about. Especially the guilt she felt when she saw faces at the school (Esen's included) that she felt she should remember from the school incident. It was a very harrowing feeling. One not helped by the fact that as she walked she could feel something else roaming too...
And so she had snuck out of Crystal Academy and was roaming the streets to think. Which was something very odd to be doing, even for her, and very dangerous. She was doing her best to stay in the streetlights and away from where trouble might strike.
Which is why she was confused to high heaven when she'd seen Azzo talking to a Sailor Senshi, and probably a bit ironic to her thinking as she had the feeling the dark haired boy was out looking for trouble as her pup was want to do. And of course she had known it was him from the sound of his voice, she'd know it anywhere. God she sounded like some sort of stalker!
And it was likely he had heard music for Melody had one earpiece out of her ear, having brought her iPod with her so she had something to keep her thoughts focused, so that she could keep an ear out for some one trying to sneak up on her. It was also because of this that she had been able to hear him speak, as well as him speak her name. Cheeks flushing, her brown eyes wide, she stepped into the light to reveal herself to him and the senshi.
"I'm surprised to see you out here, pup. Please tell me you aren't searching for monsters."

-It was less than comfortable to watch... her brows tightening and raising as she watched him.
He paced, his eyes lifted to the sky as if to ask for help that would not come, he tried to shake away the sorrow. Each word was like a wrench dug into her chest, and sad to say.. she found herself wondering if he was as crazy as he kept asking.
She really didn't understand much of what was said. Other than the fact that he was obviously hurting and lost. Her fingers reached out to touch his shoulder lightly, pausing in surprise as suddenly the other familar presence appeared. Melody too?
They could feel the monsters? It was something even she couldn't do. Clearing her throat a little she withdrew her hand, letting it fall to her side.- "You can tell where the youma are?"
-So useful.. especially considering the advice from Kunzite.. and yet..- "Azzo... it's far too dangerous out here."
"If us.. with magical powers are getting hospitalized and killed.. whats going to happen to you?" -It seemed more a warning then anything. She didn't have the heart to tell him he wasn't 'allowed' to try and search out his answers. To fight his demons.-

Azzo blinked and looked at Mel before looking at Polaris. He sighed and shrugged, "I was..." He started before turning his head to look at Polaris was.
"In theory, I was out making sure that's what it was." He tilted his head, "There's some odd tingling, and it seems the closer I get the stronger it gets, and as they leave it becomes a dull sense."
He looked towards Melody curious, "Can you feel them?" He wanted affirmation he wasn't crazy.
He shrugged softly still looking towards the stars and moon. "Mm It's why I picked up kick boxing and have a bat, granted I know that's not going to do enough. Speically since I still suck at kick boxing, but at least it's some defense. I figure if they're not too big I could at least keep it knocked around until help showed up."
He paused looking at Polaris, head canted still before looking back to Melody. A melancholy grin spread on his face. "I won't die." He assured both of them, "I can't say I won't get hurt. That'd be a lie because I'm sure I would. I just hope I don't break anymore ribs. Limb would be fine, at least I could get a cast and still hobble around. Besides, some broken bones are probably expected in kick boxing at some point or another..."
"The one I'm more worried about actually..." He looked at Melody eyes slightly narrowed as if to say, you shouldn't be out here... He was a real pot calling the kettle black. However his eyes softened after a second, "Besides, friends worry about friends all the time right? If I knew you better Polaris I'd probably be just as worried about you, even if you are one of those 'Awesome Terrorist' Senshi."
He turned his head back towards where he thought the monster was. "Huh..... I think it's starting to come back." He picked up the bat and rested it on his shoulder again, "At the very least can we make sure this thing isn't near a large group of people? There are some places open at night still, right?"
He could make his plea with senshi later. Maybe he could convince them he'd be a handy tool, he didn't mind getting used when it came to this. Maybe he could get answers at the same time.

Melody almost put her foot down, almost grabbed Azzo to drag him some place where they wouldn't be in the way of a Sailor Soldier and then escort him home. Because he was being stupid, throwing himself to the wolves as it were, and he'd get himself killed. No matter what he promised.
To say she was grateful for the Senshi before her trying to urge Azzo home was probably an understatement. It faded, however, when he refused to leave and she resisted the urge to sigh in agitation. Such a troublesome pup!
"... I guess I can feel them too? I thought I felt something that day at the hospital, before that monster shoved itself into the room." And she could feel some sort of buzzing in the back of her mind, calling her and urging her to follow it. She was doing a pretty good job of refusing to listen to it she thought. Apparently Azzo wasn't. That or he didn't want to, which was very likely knowing him.
"I feel something now, but it doesn't matter. Azzo, it's dangerous and neither of us should be here. Especially if Senshi are nearly getting themselves killed." She hated being able to feel this...

-She was confused to say the least. Which wasn't particularly new these days. But even with everything else.. she'd never heard of this. Never imagined this.
It was fairly apparent he wasn't going to go home. And what could she do other then drag him there by force. Her hand clenched into a fist as he made his empassioned plea.-
"You're so stupid!" -She said it so loud it was almost a yell, her composure breaking and eyes squeezing shut. So so stupid. Who threw their life away like this?
With a heavy sigh her eyes openned, appearing almost to grit her teeth now.- "This once, I'll let you go this once. To do whatever it is you think you have to do. But that's it." -I'ts not like he wouldn't go anyway once they parted ways.. better that she be there to stand up against whatever showed it's face.-
"Which way?"
-Stupid... Astrea would absolutely slaugther her if she knew she was taking civilians into a possible fight.-

Azzo looked at both of them. Looked between both of them. He sighed, "Well... maybe I'm not crazy."
He shook his head walking forward not saying a word to them for a while. He was expecting at least some scolding but calling him stupid?
"You know.... I'm glad neither of you have to know what it feels like to be me." He said voice dripping almost with hatred, but it wasn't for them. It was never towards them.
"I'm sure you don't get night terrors of things that might've happen in that place." He sighed pausing, at the corner of the block stopping to see which direction. Though the trio might not have to wait too long.
"I'm glad neither of you had broken ribs, and faces you forgotten that you should know and people hurt because you can't ******** remember them." He continued, the same tone, the same self hate. "I'm glad no one provokes an 'I'm Sorry for whatever the ******** I did to you, because I have no idea what I did but I feel compelled to apologize to you for whatever that might have been'."
"I'm glad no one here needs some ******** answers to their god forsaken life." He didn't curse much, as he did it came out as unstable, out of character for him. He was so fed up with not knowing though. He was staring up at the moon, giving a grunt before turning right again.
"I'm pretty sure it's headed straight for us now...." If Azzo knew talking cats existed, heck if a cat talked to or at him, especially Astra he might just commit himself to a psyche ward. After all for all he knew Mel's 'feeling them' was just trying to comfort him at this point.
Maybe he really was going crazy.
