I was at the park today, since it's finally warm out, and I was playing my acoustic bass, half showing off, half just enjoying the day. A little girl comes up to me (she was about 4-5) and told me I sounded good and gave me a flower (which she demanded I wore in my hair XD). Then her mother came over and said, "Get away from him! You'll go to hell if you go near him!" I just find it funny how parents always teach their children never to judge anyone for how they look or what they do, yet they're the most judgmental people in the world!

This actually happened to you? Whoa! I would have been like, 'Mom, he sounds good! I don't care what you think, I care what I think.' =3 That mom needs to be nicer.

I was part of a similar situation. I was the little girl though (around 13). I was talking to this boy who was very open with who he was, I adore him even to this day. My mom told me to stay away from him, gave me the same reasoning and everything.
I was so mad that she would be like that. I turned to her and said then I guess your goin to hell because of your own daughter (:

BaBy_BuTtOnZ21 I was part of a similar situation. I was the little girl though (around 13). I was talking to this boy who was very open with who he was, I adore him even to this day. My mom told me to stay away from him, gave me the same reasoning and everything. I was so mad that she would be like that.
