Note that there is a sticky on the main page of the guild with discussion about the hackings, and please keep all conversation about these hackings in that sticky.

●● { Well its more than a coincidence. The group of people that were hacked were hacked on the same day while in the Marketplace. I know some of them, and they had millions taken from them with trades to prove it. And they've been around for years, so they'd never fall for scams.
Whether you care about this is up to you, but I'm staying out of the MP for awhile. D:
I don't think this would affect a casual buyer, but you never know...

Yeah, thats craziness
I've also heard that if someone sends you a gift they can get your info
can't remember who from.. but he had his gifts turned off so I had to trade him his event participation gift
but seeing that from TVC does make me worry

well if they have the trade history, why dont they hack them back! i did that onces in ragnarok i think... or was it conquer

aww man i almost have enough gold for some of those new skittles items i guess i can wait a while
well if you really want to get something & you scared of this you could cange your password after each purchase but this whole thing really made my gold burn a hole in my pocket so Ive changed my password like 3 times today

You could try the Exchange Forum, if you don't want to use the Marketplace.
That's how we did it in the old days, when there wasn't a Marketplace.
