Bio: Luna was born in a solitary house constructed in the Viridian Forest in the Kanto region. Every female in her family is a renown coordinator, winning master level ribbons in several categories. In contrast, her father was just a normal trainer attempting to make it to indigo plateau, but he failed to get to even the semi finals and gave up his dream when he settled down with his family.
Their first child, Ketchup, was born in their first home in Sootopolis city where they stayed for 2 years before moving to a more reclusive and permanent residence in Viridian. There they had two twins, Marshmellow and Luna. Marshmellow was older by several minutes, making Luna the third oldest in her family. Another 2 years later, Luna found herself with yet another sibling: Tikal.
Luna was born and raised in Viridian and her family was quite loving. Every year the family makes at minimum 4 trips to several different regions for pokemon contests and other events since her mother is a professional coordinator. When the family wasn't on some trip, Luna spent most of her time in the Viridian forest with the pokemon there. However, not all of the pokemon in the forests were friendly and she has wandered back with a large share of scrapes and scratches before; once she even ran back being chased by a swarm of beedrill.
"I was only trying to pet the Weedle! And then BAM! They were everywhere! You should have seen me dad, I was probably running faster than a Jolteon!" -Luna, age 9. From a young age Luna always admired her father's well-polished badges and preferred tales of his gym battles over tales about pokemon contests. Still, everyone expected her to be like her two elder sisters who also took the path of a coordinators like their mother, but Luna had a different plan in mind.
"There's no way I'm going to be a coordinator, Ketchup and Marshmellow already do that!"
"Eh? What are you going to be then, Luna?"
"I'm going to be a pokemon trainer like you of course! I'll be even better than you! I'll be better than anyone else!. Just you wait!" -Luna to her dad at age 10.
Luna soon discovered a very big problem: it wasn't easy to get away from her family's fame, especially since they were pretty prominent in Kanto, Jhoto, and Sinnoh. She didn't want to be recognized for her family, she wanted to be recognized for herself. So when Luna saw a poster advertising the newly discovered Zatao region, she jumped on board the earliest boat possible that was headed towards the region. The young girl, then age 11 and nearing her 12th birthday, had high hopes that she would be able to make a name for herself in the new region.
"There's nothing I can't do if I just try really really hard!" Luna, age 11.
Personality: The three adjectives that describe Luna the best are energetic, determined, and friendly. She does everything with 110% of her effort, which explains why she tends to collapse on her bed before 9 PM.
Luna is overly idealistic and even tends to reject other people's beliefs if they do not match her own. She is, however, much more accepting of new ideas and points of view in battling. In a battle, she has to accept new ideas so she can understand them and, in turn, her opponent better. Although she seems friendly and adaptable, she is actually quite stubborn on getting her way. However, Luna does sometimes back off if she feels that she cannot fully control a situation.
