well, Valve has finally put Steam out for the Mac. or, they will be doing so soon. their first cross-platform game (meaning available on Windows, Mac, and 360) will be Portal 2 (something else to look forward to from Valve =D), and they won't be emulating games for the Mac. they will be native games. there's no telling when older games will be available for Mac (games like TF2, HL2, CS:S, and any other game Valve has made), but anyone who owns a version of a game and has a Windows computer and a Mac can play the game on both platforms without paying extra! and, they can go between them if they have to move to the other computer! it's a new feature called Steam Play and it's new to the Steamworks API. check out the information on Steampowered.com or on facebook

also, I know that this post may be a bit late and it's probably missing some info, but I'm kinda slow and lazy sweatdrop don't get mad at me!

like I said, I probably missed some stuff. if you read the official news post by Valve on the Steampowered site, it'd make more sense

They just released a post about it on the TF2 blog. I don't mind, it's just I'm annoyed that I'm going to have to deal with thousands of Mac f** elitists noobing up my TF2.

Heh, you can't really blame them for sucking. Just that there was no one for them to really try to beat and so the best they got was still pretty newbie. You don't learn anything from winning and so when they got to the top all they could do was stay at the same skill level never improving because they never had too. Though yeah it's going to suck. Like when I play PS3 CoDMW, man they suck so much!

I just hope that they make the CD version of TF2 for the Mac. Its a lot cheaper than the one you gotta order on Steam, but whatevs.

Grr...

Steam pushed back the release date for Steam on a Mac to May 12th.

Oh well, that's just 6 days away.

(When Steam comes out to the Mac, could anyone gift me TF2, pleeease? I'm desperate.)
