Novi bounced, tail swinging around in a small circle, as he hopped from sidewalk-line to the next, afraid of "breaking his mother's back" by stepping on the line itself. He was, in a way, strengthening his ninja!skills, so perhaps he might meet Nikki again and -not- have a disaster. A disaster of letting Vik out. Jeez... He hated it! He hated being so weak... Vik wasn't good for him, more than just a nagging little voice in his head, but a completely separate personality. A second person, sharing his simple mind. But Vik was hardly simple. Novi frowned and paused. Oh well. What's done was done. He just hoped that Vik was nice to Nikki...

He slipped through the University doors as if he'd never left them -- as if he'd never been taken by the Two-Legs and put in a petshop and taken by his little girl. The University was home. Home was where Momma was. Such a simple life he was leading, when he was left alone. "Emmie?" His soft voice echoed around the halls as he searched for his favorite -- by far! Kunnie and Tempy seemed to begrudge his playful personality -- sister. He found her in the courtyard, with Caek -- her stuffed doggy. He grinned widely. "Emmie!" And bounced through the flowers to greet her. "Hiiiiiya! Guess where I went!"

"Emmie!" Novi beamed at her as she all but pranced to his side. As she showed in the daisy, he took it in his hands and grinned. "It's so beautiful!" He smelled it, then placed it gently behind her ear, tucked into her hair. "There! Perfect!"

He paused to think about it. She didn't know about Vik and he didn't want her to find out, either, so he played it safe. "I met a girl called Nikki and we played ninja in a chocolate shop!" He smiled brightly. "We almost got caught. But I saved the day! Then she got caught, her collar broke and she became a Freecollar!" He touched his own purple and pink collar. He never wanted to take it off. It reminded him of his girl. "What about you, sissie? What did you do?"

Novi nodded brightly, remembering Nikki's bright smile and smiling as well. "It was fun," he admitted with a small giggle, watching her pout. "Aww!" He pulled her into a tight, two-armed hug and squeezed as haaaaard as he could, then released her, listening. He touched his collar. "But...if we lose our collars... Didn't you have a Two-Leg of your own?" He frowned, ears pulling back, eyes widening. "This is my only re-memory of my girl... I dunno if I wanna ever take it off." He ducked his head. "Think Momma would be mad if I never took it off?" He didn't want Momma to be mad or sad because of him... Suddenly, he felt very low.

A vending machine? He wondered what that was for a moment, then focused on his little sister again, solemly nodding. "I think it's good that you'd wanna say hi to Ama-ranth!" His tail wiggled and he squeezed it close to his body. Sometimes he wished he had his own Caek, just like Emily's. He would call it Muffin, he decided. "Prolly not allergies. Lemme try." He pranced over and plucked a flower, breathing it in deeply. "Nope. Not me. Here!" He shoved it into her face, practically pushing her nose in with his exuberance. "Smell it. We'll see if you sneeze."

The idea of clawing off his own collar made him whimper, both hands rising to his throat. He slipped his fingers under the loose fabric slip and tugged a little, but the collar held tight, to his happiness. "There. I tried. I don't wanna claw it off..." It was the only thing he would ever have from his little girl, ever again! He'd never see her again. Just thinking about it made tears glisten in his eyes and he hastily swiped at them, drawing nailmarks across his face by accident.

Novi jumped back as she whined out, afraid that maybe he'd picked a flower with a special surprise inside -- a bee? -- but instead Em just sneezed. He pulled his ears back and ducked his head down, looking shameful. "S-Sorry, sissy," he murmured quickly. "Let's go inside, there's kleenexes there!" He grabbed her non-mucusy hand and tugged her back towards the inside, feeling bad about making her sneeze. How was he supposed to know she'd get upset?

Quickly his worries were forgotten as she spoke up again. Older...guy? "I want to know," he said ernestly.

And in the back of his head, Vik stirred, also intrigued by this idea.

Novi nodded and padded down the halls beside her, his feet scuffing the floors as he went, hands inside his pockets, playing with the lint absentmindedly. He giggled as she used the tissues to wipe herself clean. Then he listened, intent on her story.

"Almost naked? Ewww!" He squealed softly, hunching his shoulders up a little at the idea. Eww eww ewwwww! "Then what?" He leaned in closer.

Novi blinked at her, crossing his arms -- which were pretty long for his age -- over his chest. His rounded ears flicked back against his head and he stuck out his tongue. It sounded 'ew' to him! Who wanted to be almost naked? Even if the guy -was- sunning!

"Sexy?"

The word stirred something deep within him. A small growl echoed in the back of his head and Novi winced, praying praying praying he didn't utter that out loud. -Shut up!- he thought frantically, looking at Emily with a forced smile. For some reason, he didn't mind that Nikki knew about Vik, but he didn't want his sister --and best friend-- to figure it out.

"Did he touch her?" Vik was maaaad. He only got mad with halfbloods, usually... Calling them names, but... Was Sol a halfblood? Novi's ears pulled back against his black hair even tighter. "Ask her if he touched her. I'll rip his bloody head off..." Another snarl.

Novi asked. "D-Did that guy touch you?" He wrinkled his nose.

Another growl rippled up the back of Novi's throat, try as he might to suck it back down. Both hands clapped over his mouth, it echoed around his spread fingers and he looked at her as if he'd just done something terrible. He kept his mouth closed, but Vik was raging inside his head.

"He touched himself around a child!" Novi was confused -- Vik didn't usually care about anyone but himself. Why would he care? Besides, what did touching yourself mean, anyways? I mean, he touched himself when he went potty right?

"Was he going potty when he touched himself?" His head tipped to the side, a worried but almost comical look on his face as he strived to keep Vik down, keep him under control, please no, please don't come up, he was almost begging him. Vik stomped around (if there was a floor in his mind, anyways!) and hissed, tail lashing. Novi's tail twitched and he pulled it to his chest, squeezing it tightly, wishing he had a Caek of his own.
