Zero Dream
Even with her room looking more like a lakeside than an actual room, Illisia was always drawn back outside. So far, she did not have much issues with mortals there, and little less issues with gods - apparently they had all seen weirder than her. Or were too focused with other things to really take notice of her.

It suited her just fine, really. While she was sadly used to these kind of reactions, the night elf could definitively do without them.

But then, the fact that she lingered in the forests and greenery rather than in the town itself probably helped. She had been walking toward it when a small series of apparently freshly-planted plantlife was lined up.

These... Oh ! Snapdragons. Like the flower Glyph had brought her. These were doing well, even if there were less blooms on them than on the one she had been given.

Meepfur
Adrienne had quite finished planting her snapdragons, and there wasn't much else to do for them now that she had, but she was back today to check and see how they were doing. Not that she expected them to be doing anything other than well, but it never hurt to have a look! Besides, even outside, they were still sort of hers. She hummed to herself as she went down the line, inspecting the plants and occasionally giving one of the flowers a gentle pinch.

Zero Dream
Illisia, now distracted from her previous destination, followed the line of planted flowers. There were so many of them ! And definitively planted there, not grown here. The soil was still bare around them, where the holes had been dug up.

Bare feet brushed against the grass slowly but even then it was only a matter of time until she would meet up with Adrienne as she carried her inspection. Ended up face to face, in fact.

"Oh, hello." She said with a smile. What an odd little one ! But the elf herself was certainly odder, and she refrained from staring as most might have done.

Meepfur
Well, not quite face-to-face. The elf had nearly a foot over the teenage werewolf, who smiled brightly at the lavender-skinned stranger. What a pretty color! "Hello!" she returned cheerfully, looking her over and quickly taking notice of the gem in her arm. At first glance, it looked confusingly like Laurence's, but it was blue instead of green. "Oh!" Adi pointed to it. "You must have one of those dragons."

Zero Dream
Oh... ? Ah, yes, the gem. She certainly caught on quickly, didn't she ? "Well, not me." Not yet, at least. But that was beside the point. "But... yes."

She... was downright adorable.

The mention of other dragons brought Ti Lung closer to the surface, and certainly caught his attention quite nicely. Ask her which ones she know of, my dear ?

Always so eager, really, so easily excited. They hadn't even introduced themselves yet ! Shh. In a moment. Patience, dragon.

Xun Jiang was taken aback at first, and found himself wondering if Illisia knew what he had been doing... but no such knowledge was found in his host. Still... he would be the first to admit he had a point. Fine enough.

With that done, however, something occurred to her. With the flowers here, then... "Ah ! So you must be... Adrienne, right ? Your flowers are certainly lovely."

Meepfur
"I am!" she answered, immensely pleased to be recognized by someone she didn't even know. That meant someone had talked about her! Someone who knew the flowers were hers, so that meant it was probably Glyph, which meant this was...the druid he'd talked about? She did have a dragon, after all, and there were only nine of them, right? "Are you Illisia, then?"

Zero Dream
Ah, so she had known, even ! But then, it made sense, if Glyph had intended that she be sought out, that she would know of her. "That would be me, indeed. I am happy to meet you. You certainly seem to have a lot of flowers !" Illisia said with a smile. "They are all very lovely, but I must admit I am not quite sure why they are called snapdragons. There are no plants like these from where I come from."

At least, no one argued with her when she said she had came from another place. It was hard for someone to, given how alien she looked compared to the races that dwelt here.

Meepfur
"I'm glad to meet you, too!" She smiled wide, showing fangs. "Glyph told me about you."

"Mm-hm! And these are just the ones I brought outside! I've got lots more inside. Orchids and violets and roses, and lots of other things." Adrienne wagged her tail, always happy to talk about anything plant-related. "I'm not sure about the dragon part," she admitted, leaning down, "But..." And proceeded to demonstrate the 'snap' by squeezing just the right spot on one of the blossoms.

Zero Dream
"It seems my reputation precedes me ?" She mused aloud, certainly a little bit amused indeed.

Roses ! Ah, she knew of roses. "I am sure they are beautiful." The elf's eyes widened a bit when she the flower snapped, and then... she let out a joyous laugh. "Well, that certainly explains everything. Dragons snap their jaws when they are angry, so I am told. At least, the dragons do that where I am from."

Talking about dragons... really, it was hard to ignore Xun when he wanted something - she had the constant feeling that he was practically staring at her. "Talking about dragons... Mine would like to know which ones you know of ?"

Meepfur
Adrienne nodded. "He was out here while I was planting. He said you're a druid."

"I'll probably bring more out sometime. I started breeding roses, and I'd like to try the orchids too, but it's bad for the trees to have too many. And they're our walls, so it would be really bad if they got sick." Of course, her Aunt Kishara could probably fix them if they did, but it was better to avoid the problem altogether!

"Well, my cousin knows one. His name's, umm...Tian Yue! And I met a host just the other day - his is just like yours, except its green instead of blue. His name's Laurence, and his dragon's Shuo."

Zero Dream
"I am a druid, indeed, but Glyph certainly seems to paint a more flattening picture of my skill than is it in reality." Remembering that tidbit of conversation with Forest made her smile.

Wait, orchid as walls ? She was about to ask, then remembered her own lake and waterfall, then let it go. "Do you live at the pantheon as well, then ?" Did that make her a goddess, then ? That did not quite seem right. The young girl did not have quite the same 'feel' than the other deities she had met. And what use would there be for a goddess to be taught to gently control nature when they had true abilities of their own ?

Shuo... That told him very little, to be honest, but it was a new name. A dragon within a host, just like he, and matching jewels... ? That was curious in itself. By deductions he could tell that this Shuo was probably not Futs or Yu, which Tian Yue had spoken about as being reborn.

Who is he ?

"I see... I have met Tian Yue. He is very kind." The elven woman said with a smile. "Shuo wouldn't have told you of... another name, perhaps ? Like, mine..." She tapped lightly at the gem. "Is Xun Jiang. But he is also called Ti Lung. He's very curious because he wants to find all his brothers again." Well, at least that was the best way she could put it to the young girl.

Meepfur
"Still, I'm sure you know lots more than me! I mostly just know about flowers, and I've still got a lot to learn about those, too."

"I do!" she confirmed, "With Rio. He's Love, and my mom was his host, but they were the same by the time I was born, so Rio's sort of my mom." Adrienne giggled. "I don't call him that, though. It would be a little weird."

The girl shook her head. "Not that I can remember. He just said Shuo."

Zero Dream
"I have much to learn of this world's flora, as well. Perhaps you could aid me ?" The elf offered with a smile. "There is also much more than can be done with flowers than just be pretty - some can be used to make medicine, even. Nature is kind and willing to share it's secrets to those who respects it." And Adrienne certain had a step over most. While she might not have time to completely teach her to BE a druid... Illisia could teach her what she knew of plant care, and how to nuture and grow. The rest... would come with research if the young girl was curious enough to seek that knowledge.

Xun Jiang grumbled a little at the lack of information, but kept it at that. It was certainly not the little girl's fault if his brother had been sparse in information. Still, if his host saw Zhijian again... That was information.

He did not go to say anything, knowing well that Illisia was probably not keeping attention to him, her mind focused on the little girl. And how cute she was. The elf certainly had a wide maternal instinct. Could he have related to that, once upon a time ?

"I see..." Well, this was particular, she had to admit. Adrienne seemed fine with it - but then, the young girl hadn't known anything else. "It would probably be a little weird indeed !" Especially since Rio was... well, he. But he cared for her like if she was his own, by what she could see, and the girl was happy. Sometimes, it was all that really mattered.

Meepfur
"I'd be happy to!" Yes, she'd like that very much. "And you could meet my dad, too! He knows even more than I do, 'cause he's a real gardener. I'm sure he'd like to meet a druid, and my Uncle Ea probably would too." The Hunt was a very nature-y fellow, after all, complete with green skin and leafy wings and his own forest.

"You might like to meet Rio, too," she added. "He doesn't know an awful lot about plants, but he does like them, and they're all over our room and everything. It's not as special as it was when everything outside was dead, but it's still really cool."

Zero Dream
"I am sure it is amazing. And I would like to meet them all, of course." Illisia answered with a smile, before spotting one snapdragon with small blossoms before crouching in front of it.

"If you could come here with me ?" She offered to the little werewolf with a smile.

Meepfur
Of course, there was her Aunt Kishara, too - she probably liked druids! But Rio and Orin and Ea were enough to start with. You could only meet so many people at once, and Illisia was probably kind of busy, being a host and all that other stuff. With another wag of her tail, Adrienne crouched by the night elf to see whatever she was about to be shown.

Zero Dream
When Adi was crouching next to her, she took one of her smaller hands gently and held it under her own, remembering the way she had been taught. Illisia had been slow on the uptake, as druids generally were much younger than she had been when they started to learn, but Adrienne could perhaps take to it better than she had, a mere 10 or so years ago.

"Everything around us breathes and lives - can you feel it ?" She asked the little werewolf gently. "The power of a druid... well, at least where I am from... It does not come from within. The earth itself grants you the power to aid it - but you must be respectful of it at all times. Respectful of the patterns already there. You must not grow to think that this power is truly yours, or to will things to happen beyond the plant's will - the earth can just as easily take what it gives. Lands cannot be renewed unless they wish to be. You call for the earth, and think about what you wish to do..."

She did just that, then, called upon that power, let it flow trough her - and though Adi as well, so she could learn to recognize it. It was a faint feeling at the very tips of her fingers, and when Illisia guided both their hands to touch one of the unopened blooms of the flower, it started to unfurl, slowly, under their guidance.

There was much more to being a druid, indeed, but it was the start. And probably the only thing that would be important to Adrienne.

Meepfur
Adrienne had never thought of power in such a way as Illisia described it; to her, it had always been something you were born with, something you couldn't just...learn. At times, she couldn't help but be a little envious, growing up surrounded by gods. But as she was such a positive sort, it didn't bother her often or for long.

The werewolf held carefully still, doing her very best not to fidget - or, when Illisia demonstrated the magic, do anything, well...overenthusiastic. Pinkish-red eyes wide, she managed to keep her reaction to a gasp. "H-How did you do that?"

Zero Dream
"Plants have an awareness, just like you and I. They especially like being talked to, as far as I know. I've known gardeners and druids that sang to their plants. They react well to kindness and respect." She explained, carefully. She could only hope that she was making sense to the little girl, as it was rather hard to explain exactly what she was doing and what she had just done - her thoughtful expression betraying that struggle. Illisia was not the best teacher around, and she knew it. "And just like us, they wish to grow and be happy, hm ? And there is energy all around us, as well. I used some of that energy to strengthen the plant. But again... it must not be forced onto the plant. It will take it if it wishes to take it. It doesn't look like much, certainly not to the scale of what the gods do... but little things. This is what we can do."

Illisia paused for a moment, looking over the lines of snapdragons and spotting another with young blossoms. "Here." She moved toward that one, and crouched again. "They do recognize you, since you've been taking care of them for so long. Do you want to try on your own ? I've always... pictured it in my mind as gently taking just a little bit of energy from the surroundings to offer thejm to the plant. It will take it if it wishes to."

Meepfur
Adrienne had always talked to her plants, though she'd never thought about it much - not whether they liked it, or were listening, or could listen. She just talked to them. She was talkative, after all...if there was no one or nothing else around to talk to (which was pretty much never), she talked to herself. It was good to know, though, that her plants had been listening all this time! She'd have to tell Rio, since he talked to them too, and her father. She was going to have so much to tell everyone!

...later. She followed Illisia to the next plant, considering it for a moment before reaching to touch it.

Hello? she thought, trying to visualize things that way the druid had suggested. Here, would you like this? Would you like to open up? Adi had absolutely no idea if the plant would actually be able to hear her thinking, but...maybe it would help? It helped her to think it did, at least.

Much to her delight - and, admittedly, surprise - the blossom did as the one before, and unfurled.

Zero Dream
"Yes, like that !" Illisia beamed, praising the young werewolf for her accomplishment. That was good, very good, especially for a first attempt. It was likely she had some innate talent for this - her own first attempts weren't this good at all.

And also there was a little comfort in knowing she had actually managed to explain it in a way to make the girl understand easily. It would have been a little... awkward if it hadn't been so, especially with having no one else around she could have referred Adrienne to.

Meepfur
"It worked! It really worked!" Adi marveled proudly at the flower, stroking it fondly before looking up to beam at her teacher. Surprise and delight were clearly evident on the werewolf's face as she looked at Illisia, tail wagging fiercely.

Zero Dream
And if was that look added to the tailwagging that practically melted Illisia like butter into a hot frying pan. The young girl was just downright adorable and how, must her parents be so proud !

Careful now, my dear. The dragon warned, amusement heavy in his mental voice. She's got you warped around her little finger.

Unfortunately, Illisia still wasn't giving him much attention. "You are doing much better than I did when I started, actually."

Meepfur
Adrienne was well-practiced in winning people over, although it wasn't usually a conscious effort...not that she was completely above making puppy eyes to get something she wanted. Being cute was very good for getting, say, more cookies.

"Really?" That meant she was good at this! How awesome was that? Her eagerness doubled by her success, she asked, "What else do druids do?"

Zero Dream
"I can use that energy I've shown you to heal wounds on people too, but it's a lot more difficult." Illisia rose again, stretching to ease out the tension in her back from having crouched over the plant. "And I can shapeshift into different things, but that's a whole lot more difficult. Not all druids can do that, from what I heard." All those she knew from her world could, but this was a different place and different times. Glyph's reactions to those same things had clued her in that druids could very well be a little different depending on where they were from.

Meepfur
"You can shapeshift, really?" Adrienne's eyes widened once more. "Can I see?" She'd never seen anyone change shape before! She knew werewolves were supposed to, but...well, her family was a little weird. It was yet another thing she intended to ask her father: why were they stuck sort of in-between? Not that she minded, but she wondered!

Zero Dream
"Yes, I can." She assured the young werewolf, and then, just like that, the form of the woman started to blur around the edge, shift into something completely different. It did look a little painful, but Illisia did not especially look bothered.

And then her clothes fell on the floor, with Illisia nowhere in sight.

Or was it really ?

"Up there." A familiar voice offered helpfully, and if Adrienne looked up, she would see a bird perched on one of the branches of one nearby tree, vaguely resembling a crow, but purple in coloration.

Meepfur
It was a good thing Illisia called down, because otherwise, Adrienne would have looked everywhere but up. She'd been expecting something with four legs, you know? A wolf or something. But a bird? While unexpected it was every bit as cool - maybe not intimidating, but awesome nonetheless.

Awed again, Adi applauded the transformation. "You can fly!"

Zero Dream
"Hm-n." Apparently unhindered by having to speak through a beak, Illisia took off the branch to demonstrate that she could, indeed, fly. The druid flew a few loose circle around the tree top before flying downward and landing on the grass.

"It is a little tiring though. Especially when I haven't done it in awhile." Such as now. Her flying form was actually the one she was most unused to, and flying was a difficult thing. It felt a little like fighting gravity all the way.

She shimmered again, and Illisia was back into her true shape, reaching for her clothing to clasp it all back in place. Hopefully Adi wouldn't be upset by her temporary nakedness, but hey, at least they were both girls. It was nothing the young werewolf wouldn't see in the future, at least.

Meepfur
Adi didn't mind nakedness in the least. She'd've been perfectly happy to go without clothes, like her father and brother did, but she had a little less fur and more to cover up, since she was a girl and all...and was old enough that going without certain pieces of clothing wasn't particularly advisable for various reasons. And, of course, they were both girls. It wasn't anything she'd never seen in the mirror.

"That's really cool," she noted while Illisia got dressed. "I'm part werewolf, but I can't change or anything. I'm just in-between all the time."

Zero Dream
"Hm..." Illisia finished strapping her top back on and pondered this, one feather-eyebrow twitching a bit in thought. The 'werewolves' of her world were, like many other things, different, but a few logical assumptions could be made.

"Maybe because you are an halfbreed ?" She answered, not meaning the term as insulting as some might have. She just couldn't think of a better way to say it without knowing the rest of Adi's parentage.

The night elf stretched a bit, looking around her curiously. "Where do you live ? I could walk you home." She was getting a little tired, with all that coaxing flowers to grow, and the shapeshifting.

Meepfur
"I'm not sure," Adi mused, not insulted in the least. "My dad's the same way, and he's all werewolf." Another thing to file away for asking, she supposed. It was a good thing her father was usually a patient sort, with the mountain of questions she had about this, that, and the other thing to bother him with.

"Oh, just at the Pantheon," she answered.

Zero Dream
'Just' the pantheon ? That was a little funny, but then if someone had lived there all their life and known nothing else...

"Well, it is rather handy that we are going at the same place, no ?" Illisia smiled, walking slowly in direction of the pantheon. "Well then, I am not too sure... You might just need to ask him." The night elf shrugged. That answered the question of her father, but then..

"Who is your mother ?"

Meepfur
Walking beside the druid, Adrienne giggled. "That's a little complicated. See, my dad was in love with Rio's host, Alex - she was a vampire - and after Rio took over but was still a girl and they were still separate, they got pregnant! And then had me'n my brother, Kinsley, but they were the same by the time that happened. So Rio's my mom, sort of."

It all made perfect sense to her, but she'd grown up with it. Sometimes it was a little hard for other people to understand.

Zero Dream
And, indeed, the look on Illisia's face was priceless. Downright priceless. There were some... interesting mental images right there.

At least Adi had specified that he had still been a girl. If she hadn't, the mental images would have become much, much worse. "I see..." Well, that was a little complicated. And a little sad, to think that Adrienne had never truly met her mother. But she had two parents who loved her, from the look of things, and in the end it was what truly mattered.

Still kind of hurt her brain a little, though.

Xun, for his part, listened to this with a quiet sense of amusement. Well, that was one hell of a situation to wind up into. Which brought him to the point... Well, try not to get pregnant, yes ? It was all he could ask. He was not keen on giving birth, thank you very much.

Duly noted. It isn't like im even with someone ! She protested mentally, but she still did blush, and Ti Lung's chuckle at that answer only made her turn even more purple.

Meepfur
So far, no one had openly expressed any sadness or pity at Adrienne's origins, which was just as well. It would only have confused her - what was there to be sad about? Rio was still Alex, even if he was mostly Rio and Orin still didn't really know what to think about that. That was the only sad part, to Adi. It was too bad Rio and Orin couldn't still be together.

The werewolf giggled again at the elf's reaction. "You blush purple!"

It made sense, she supposed, though it did get her wondering what color her Uncle Ea turned.

Zero Dream
"W-Well." Having the fact pointed out only made it worse, really, but Illisia simply went with it and laughed. "Well, red woudn't really fit with my skin tone now, wouldn't it ? Much too... bright, hm ?"

Xun Jiang only seemed to find this all the more hilarious, through his laugh was not a mean one. Simply amused. Oh, ill get you for this, dragon...

But she still had no idea why he might even thing such a thing might even happen.

Meepfur
"It's a really pretty color," Adrienne observed with a grin. She liked purple! Pink was her favorite, of course, but purple was pretty, too. Not that there were any colors she didn't like, but the 'girly' ones were the best. For all that she spent at least half her time covered in dirt, she was still quite feminine. Not prissy, but sufficiently girly.

Zero Dream
"Of course." Illisia was covered in various shades of purple, after all. It would be rather inconvenient if she hated the color she was basically made of !

Back to basking into Adrienne's adorableness and ignoring Xun Jiang. Ha ! That'll teach him. "Do you like to swim ?" She asked the young girl. "We have a lake, in our room, if you ever want to drop by. Im not in there often, but if you get lucky you just might catch me. It's the room with the big tree on it." Mentioning Teldrassil only confused others, so she had given up on that all-together.

Meepfur
"I do!" she answered. "You have a whole lake?" How had she gotten a whole lake?! "We have a couple of little bathing pools, but not a lake. Neither of our rooms is big enough for something like that!"

Zero Dream
"Well, it's not a very big lake." Illisia let out a lighthearted chuckle. "But it's still pretty big. More than big enough for a few people. And pretty deep too, so you can just jump in !"

The lake always seemed to be a hit.

"My room is pretty big." That was kind of understatement. It was huge, looking more like an open plain than a room. "But I only have one room really. Kind of like this big open space."

Meepfur
"Still! How did you get a lake? Was it already there, or did you have to make it? My dad dug our bathing pools." How did you make a lake? Digging a little pool was one thing, but a lake that was deep enough to jump in? It was baffling!

Zero Dream
"It's a little complicated." The night elf admitted. "Lord Harmodius gave us the room when I was given Xun's jewel... But there was nothing inside, nothing at all. I... thought things, thought a floor and a ceilling and walls and they came, but... I didn't like it. I prefer to be outside with nature, so... he helped me... remake it, I guess ? He said it was Creation's magic that allowed it and that we should not abuse it."

Meepfur
"Really?" Adi's eyes widened once more. "I didn't know we could do that! I guess because he wasn't Creation before, just Destruction. I wonder if it would work with our rooms? I mean, they're really nice, but there's just two rooms and only one bed still..."

In other words, not very suited to four people living in them.

Zero Dream
"It might. I am not too sure..." She wasn't exactly sure how it worked at all, to be honest. Had it not been for Xun, she would probably only have that calling, floor, and 4 little walls.

"Maybe your..." ...It occurred to her that she was not quite sure how to referer to her godly parent. "Well, maybe Rio would know ?" She had no qualm by shortening Xun's name, but this Rio... what if she met him later and he found it offending ?

Meepfur
"I'm sure he'd've told me if he knew already," she considered, scratching absently at an itch on her stomach. "Well, I guess we'll just give it a try and see!" More room would be nice, and beds for everyone - at the moment, they just sort of traded off.

Zero Dream
"Maybe Xun will be able to tell you how he did it later ?" The druid offered. She had no idea if he could just... speak though her. He had never seemed to try - only ask her to relay his words for him. The thought was a little weird and alien, so she simply left it at that.

"Do you want to come see the lake ?" She could see the panthon building slowly taking shape in the distance. "If Rio doesn't mind, of course."

Meepfur
"Ohh. That would be great!" She hadn't thought about that possiblity! Adi'd never actually seen a god speak through their host, or the other way around, although she'd certainly heard of it from Rio.

"Sure!" she agreed readily. "He won't mind. He doesn't really worry." He hadn't minded when his daughter played with Destruction, so...if anything, he was somewhat underprotective.

Zero Dream
"Well, if you say so..." The druid headed toward the main building, then up the stairs. She stopped by the door with a large tree on it, the wood onto it looking alive in a way, and opened the door to let herself and her young friend inside.

The room was, indeed, big, Very big. It looked more like an hidden valley than a room, really, with the floor below being earth and grass, with a rock path leading further back... where there was indeed a lake. Even a waterfall to boot !

The snapdragon Glyph had given her was clearly visible near the lake, and so were small saplings and other assorted plants Illisia had found outside. Even with the absence of sun, they seemed to thrive.

Meepfur
As the druid revealed the room Adi gasped with delight. There really was a lake, and it had a waterfall! A waterfall! And trees and plants and grass and...it was a like a bigger, better version of Rio's rooms! Oh man, she was totally going to have to try changing theirs.

"It's amazing!" she declared, her face lighting up even more when she noticed the snapdragon.

Zero Dream
"I am glad you approve." Illisia smiled, stepping along the rock path toward the lake itself. "Do you want to go for a swim ? The water's just cool enough, not too cold at all." Part of the magic that had made all of this possible, she could only think.

She didn't own much in term of furniture (nothing at all, rather) but it was more than enough to make her happy. A little patch of nature in the middle of everything else where she could come back to and rest. She always slept in the tall grass, there was no need for a bed at all.

Meepfur
"I'd love to!" she accepted happily, dull claws clicking faintly on the rock path as she followed after Illisia. She continued to look around in wonder, hardly noticing the lack of furniture at all. She was much too busy noticing the plants and trees, although the latter she couldn't necessarily identify. She was new to really paying attention to trees, after all.

Zero Dream
"Go right ahead then !" The druid encouraged cheerfully. For her part, however, she shifted to sit and settle at the edge of the lake, in the grass, rather than going into the water proper. She did dip her bare feet into the lake, however, proving the water to be just as she had said - just cool enough to be refreshing.

Meepfur
Adrienne reached around, tugging one end of her tail ribbon to undo it. She let it fall to the ground, where it was quickly followed by what little else she wore; while Rio advised that swimming clothes-less outside where people might see wasn't necessarily a brilliant idea, they were technically inside, and Illisia was a girl anyway. So it didn't matter!

The werewolf then wasted no time in jumping in, ducking all the way under the water for a moment before popping up again. "You were right, it is really nice!"

Zero Dream
Illisia was about as phased by the werewolf's nakedness than she had been with her own, earlier. That is, not at all. All the druid truly did on that matter was a practical look to make sure Adrienne's clothing did not land somewhere when it might get dirty, and as it did not, it was all well.

"Only the best for a dragon, I figure." The druid mused out loud, amused.

Meepfur
"So what's he...dragon of?" Adi asked. "Rio said they all have different jobs." Like the rest of the gods, but not. He hadn't been able to tell her much about the dragons, really, as he'd never met one properly - not in this life, anyway.

Zero Dream
"Well..." Illisia started, as she moved a bit closer to the lake, and by extent Adi. "He was introduced to me as a dragon of water and earth. He is also called the Lifewater of Worlds, as he told me. So I figure he might be like... Some kind of life affinity ? The water that helps tree grow ?" She mused out loud.

All that and more, my dear. The dragon could not help but interject. You will see. He had to admit that even he was fond of the young girl.

Meepfur
"Ohh, that's really cool! I didn't know there were dragons for things like that. I know there's a Water God, but I've never met him. Rio doesn't like him. His daughter's nice, though, she's Rivers." So how was the Dragon King different from the regular god? Maybe it was that he was earth, too. She hadn't realized gods could be gods of more than one thing, or maybe that was just dragons.

Zero Dream
Actual god children ? Well, she figured, they had to come from somewhere when they weren't being born from gems, right ?

The mention of a River goddess, even if only a young child, had the dragon almost visibly 'perk', so to speak. He certainly wanted to know much about this, and about her father as well. They were not like his brothers, but certainly, it would do him good to get to know them.

"Do you know their names ?" Illisia asked for the dragon. "Xun would like to meet them. He'd be very happy if you could tell him." It would make finding them easier, really.

Meepfur
"They're Kaelin and Una," Adrienne answered, treading water not far from Illisia. "I don't know where they live, though, and I haven't seen Una at all since the ceremony."

Zero Dream
"Names are enough so that we can ask around." Illisia gave a warm smile, then looked around. Perhaps Adi would be hungry after her swim, and she was sure she had a few berries nearby ?

Ah, there they were. This was the problem with no furniture. She stood, and brought the bowl closer, sitting at the side of the lake with her legs in the water.

When the girl would have her back to her, however, the druid could not resist - she gave a kick and splashed her, playfully.

Meepfur
Uh-oh! Adi gave a little shriek of surprise when splashed, but immediately after broke into laughter. Instead of retaliating with a counter-splash, however, she simply swam over to investigate the bowl of berries. "Ooh, what've you got there?"

But instead of waiting for an answer, she tried to grab Illisia by the leg to pull her in.

Zero Dream
Illisia, in turn, did her best to look completely innocent. Adrienne was too smart to fall for it, it seemed, and the night elf balanced the wooden bowl carefully even as her leg was pulled.

"Berries. I thought you might be a little hungry ?"

She let the bowl down carefully on the ground, and then allowed herself to be pulled fully in the water.

Meepfur
Hooray, it worked! Adrienne giggled triumphantly, even though it was fairly obvious that Illisia had let her get away with it. Winning was still winning! She paddled backward a little so as not to crowd the elf. "Ohh, I love berries! You know, that's another thing we could use in our room! Some plants with fruit would be really awesome, maybe even some trees."

Zero Dream
"That certainly wouldn't be a bad idea..." The druid mused, settleing in the cool water and swimming a few circles. She shot though the water with a kind of grace that showed her innate, elven agility. "I found these outside, in the garden. There are... ah, these red berries ?" She reached for the bowl and picked out a strawberry. "I am not sure what they are... But they are delicious. I nearly ate them all." She winked at the young werewolf.

"But that'll be our secret, hm ?" Children rather liked to be told secrets. It made them feel important, in a way. "It is certainly unbecoming of a lady such as I to pluck all the berries without sharing, hmm ?"

Meepfur
"Oh, those are strawberries!" Adi supplied, adding, "They're really good when you dip them in sugar. Rio says they're really good in something called a smoothie, too, but I've never had one. We don't have a blender. I wonder if we can tell the room we need appliances...?"

The werewolf giggled, admiring the way Illisia swam. "Well, you're sort of sharing with Xun."

Zero Dream
"Ah, yes, of course I am !" Ha, that was an amusing excuse. She would have to pull that one off sometime, just for fun. "But I think he prefers fish to strawberries. I have a carving for salmon like you wouldn't believe. It's probably his fault."

Or maybe you are simply hungry for fish. The dragon said as a retort, clearly amused.

"Oh, I know it's your fault, silly dragon." She poked at the gem lightly. Something that Adi said, however, caught her attention. "Appliances... ?"

Oh dear.

Meepfur
"I've never had much fish. I think they smell sort of funny, but they taste okay. I still like real meat better, though." Like deer and rabbits and stuff!

"Yeah," Adrienne said, not realizing that Illisia might not be familiar with appliances, and simply elaborated on what would be nice to have, "A fridge especially. And a stove, and a microwave, and a toaster too! And a blender, of course."

Zero Dream
Fridges and stoves and...

Uh ?

"Real meat ?" This was a safer path to thread. Illisia was still giving the werewolf her best 'what the...' glance, however. That had basically been greek to her.

Meepfur
"You know, deer and rabbits and stuff." She was not, however, oblivious to the druid's look, and finally caught on. "Haven't you ever used appliances...?"

Zero Dream
"Ah, that." Yet she hadn't been aware that fish weren't 'real' meat. That was also amusing. "I havn't had deer in awhile..." Oh that also sounded so good right there and right now, but she'd yet to see a deer, much less even think about hunting one !

"So you hunt, then ?" Most people here didn't seem to, to be honest. They seemed content to just buy meat at a market, which made no sense to Illisia. You couldn't quite be sure of freshness unless you'd hunted it down yourself, and certainly not use the hides and the bones !

This was really a weird place.

"No, I have no idea what you're even talking about. I don't think we have those... things... back where im from." But it sounded like some crazy thing some gnome could think up. Which would blow up in their face shortly after. Ah, when gnomes flew...

Meepfur
"Mm-hm!" she confirmed, chuckling. "I am a werewolf, after all! And my dad's beta to the God of the Hunt, so yeah. I catch a lot of our food. I've only killed a deer once, though, to take to Ea's temple. A whole deer's too much for me'n Rio and Shy and Ishkha."

"Wooow, really? Well if it works, you'll have to come see them!"

Zero Dream
A god of the hunt ? Well, of course there had to be a god for that, though Illisia could not quite recall if her people had worshipped such a figure. Maybe before her time, though perhaps the tauren did. She had not met with many outside a battlefeild, even if druid of diffenrent races sometime mingled in spite of being on completely different side.

From what she had seen, they weren't so bad - which made the fact that they tolerated orcs of all things even more puzzling.

"Ill'd like to go hunting sometime with you, if you don't mind ? I promise to make you proud." She winked again. "I might be old, but I can still handle myself !"

Meepfur
"Oh, I'd love that! I usually hunt by myself, so it would be fun to have someone else along for a change." She giggled again, then, when Illisia called herself 'old.' "Old? You don't look a day over..." she thought about it for a moment, then guessed, "Thirty!"

Not that Adi was a very good judge of age. And, of course, she wasn't even three and looked more like fourteen or fifteen.

Zero Dream
Thirty ? By gods, she was what... Maybe Adi's age when she had been thirty ? A little younger ? That was so long ago...

She let out a giggle, unable to help herself. "Little flatterer. I really can't refuse now, hm ? Just drop by whenever, but I tend to roam around a little, so I might be outside."

Meepfur
"Me too," she said with yet another giggle. "We'll probably run into each other outside somewhere! And I'll have to show you my tree, too, the one Glyph gave me." Oh, sure, she could probably have 'claimed' one herself if it had ever occurred to her, but the God of the Forest had given it to her. It was extra-special!

Zero Dream
"Glyph gave you a tree ? That is such a nice and important present ! I definitively want to see it." Illisia circled a few more loops in the water, stretching out in the process. "I bet it's the prettiest tree in the forest. Do you know what kind of tree it is ?" She might not know, given that some species of trees that existed here had not existed in Azeroth... but then, she had recognized a few, so she might be able to place it.

Meepfur
"He did!" she said proudly, tail stirring the water behind her as she wagged it. "He took me to a glade with young trees in it, and told me what they were and let me pick one. And we put a ribbon on it, so everyone'll know it's mine. It's a beech."

Which sounded a little like 'b***h,' which amused her terribly, but that wasn't why she'd picked it. She'd just liked it best!

Zero Dream
Ah, nope... That wasn't familiar at all. And Illisia knew her trees. She would have to see it in order to be able to learn just what it was.

"That was a good idea, marking it with a ribbon. Then everyone will know that it's your tree !"

Meepfur
"Mm-hm! I'm gonna put some orchids on it, too, and see how they do. It might not be the right sort of environment, but then again, everything's a little bit weird around here, so it might just work. I hope it does!" After all, there wasn't any sun and the gardens and forest were doing just fine. Why shouldn't an orchid grow somewhere it normally wouldn't?

Zero Dream
"Orchids.... Hm. Im not too familiar with those, so I can't really help." Illisia announced, sadly, as she emerged out of the water and back on the shore to sit, not minding being wet at all. "The flora and fauna is a little different where I come from. I don't think there are any orchids... what do they look like ?"

Meepfur
"They're...hmm." That was hard! They weren't something easy to describe, like, say, a sunflower. Their appearance was a little more complicated than the stereotypical flower 'circle in the middle with a bunch of petals around it.' Swimming over to the edge, she suggested, "I could draw one?"

Zero Dream
"Hmmm... I don't think I have any paper... unless you want to draw one in the dirt." She didn't seem to mind dirt, at least. But then, it would be odd if someone who hunted minded being dirty !

"You know, at this rate we're going to have to tell your parents that im not going to return you. You're too adorable." She said with a pout.

Meepfur
"Dirt works!" So saying, she proceeded to draw an approximation of an orchid in the dirt with a clawlike index fingernail. It was far from the best orchid 'drawing' ever, since it was in dirt and Adi wasn't exactly an artist, but it did the job. Sort of.

Adrienne beamed happily, quite flattered that Illisia would want to 'keep' her. "I'm sure they wouldn't mind, as long as I still get to visit," she said with a laugh. "I'm going to move out eventually, when I find a god to serve. I think. I mean, all the aoidei I know of live with their gods, so I guess I would, too."

Zero Dream
A god to serve... ? Oh, right. Adi's family tree was very, very confusing. Especially to one still a little unfamiliar to the whole concept. "Ill't have to be a nice god, or ill'd have to go and beat them up if they were mean to you." How blasphemous. As if she could even beat up a god.

She almost wanted to offer Xun, really, but... she was just plain getting ahead of herself. And that might be a little weird to Adi, serving what she would become once she would be... gone.

She knew it would come one day, but it didn't mean she had to like to think about it, even if she had willingly accepted her fate.

Meepfur
"I think they'd have a lot to worry about if they were mean to me!" Adi laughed, heaving herself up out of the water to sit next to Illisia. She knew quite a few people, gods included, who wouldn't be very likely to stand idly by if she were mistreated. Plus, god or no, she'd probably bite them if she had to. "Not that I'd ever pick someone like that. It'll have to be someone I like, and I only like nice people."

She really only knew nice people, truth be told.

Zero Dream
"Ah, yes, that certainly helps. Ill'd like to meet them once you have figured it out, if you don't mind ?" She figured she might fit best with one the nature-types. Maybe Hunt, as she talked about being close to him. Or Glyph. That certainly was a nice thought... But she didn't want to influence the werewolf's decision. Not that she actually knew enough gods to influence her decision, but still.

Illisia laid back in the grass, looking at the ceiling. "Even if im not there anymore by then, im sure Xun would still like to meet them."

Meepfur
"Of course!" she agreed, taking a strawberry from the bowl Illisia had produced earlier. She ate most of it in one bite, before nibbling at the top part, carefulto avoid the leaves. They were a little less than delicious, thank you. "Even if he's taken over, you'll probably still be here. It's sort of the reverse of what it's like now, Rio says, with the voice in your head and all."

Having grown up with the host concept, Adi didn't seem terribly bothered, although she'd never 'lost' someone to a god before. Maybe it would be a little different then, but for now it didn't phase her one bit.

Zero Dream
"I didn't really think about things would be like, once it happens. That sounds really weird." She scrunched her nose a little. "I havn't asked anyone else about it, either. Seems a little too... personal ?" Maybe she could ask Glyph ? Maybe. But even then, she hesitated. It might not be a good idea.

Meepfur
"Rio wouldn't mind, if you want to ask him," she suggested. "I ask him things all the time, and he always tells me. He's really good about that." Some people dodged certain questions, especially personal ones, but Rio'd never done that to her. It was stranger, for her, when people did.

Zero Dream
"Hm." The night elf fidgeted a bit. "Maybe. We'll see."

She still didn't like to think about it much, even if she had known exactly what she was going into before the gem had even been given to her. It would happen when it was time, and she didn't like to ponder the how and the when beyond that.

Illisia reached into the bowl, pulling out a blackberry and eating it.

Meepfur
"Well, if you want to. Or if there's anything else you want to ask him." Rio had, she had gathered by now, had a very unique relationship with his host. Maybe all the gods did, in their own way, but Love was very...open about it.

Leaving it at that and allowing for a lull in their conversation, Adrienne stretched, and a yawn escaped in the process. Oops!

Zero Dream
"We'll see." The druid let out an amused giggle at the werewolf's yawn. That was so adorable !

"You can stay and take a nap here, if you want." If your parents don't mind seemed superfluous with how she'd been talking of Rio all this time.

Meepfur
"That would be great," she responded, pulling her paws out of the water. "If you don't mind?"

Zero Dream
Illisia could only smile to that. "Of course not, as long as you don't mind sleeping in grass..."
