 Shibasa stopped as he saw the mountain peeking out through the early morning clouds. The silence was unnerving, and his traveling companions were still sound asleep, so he stood and silently started forward, wanting to be alone as he looked at his only hope. It was pathetic that this was his only hope. The droning of a crazy lioness who threw bones around. And not just that, he thought, even she hadn't thought it was a solid promise. Yet he had traveled for miles and miles just on the off chance that it might be his answer. He sat, out of hearing distance of the others and let out a slightly bitter laugh. He was now positive that it would do him no good, coming all this way. He would die without regaining that small piece of his soul, and he was such a b*****d that no one would ever know, or care. It served him right.

Abla purred quietly was she trotted around she was in a good mood she was almost always in a good mood. For something with such a interesting domain she was in a good mood. She showed the having strength from a hardship Even though she had many of them she was sweet and caring, she learned to handle things lightly and she liked to help people and if she needed to she would force them through a hardship just so they could understand or for that matter so they could appreciate the good times in life. She stretched her wings as she walked a smile on her face, something was pulling her in the way she knew something was coming her way. Well she was heading in the direction of it.
She walked and she was soon coming up to another creature. He was a lion she was curious about him. "Who are you?" She asked curiously a smile on her face she looked at his outline. Keeping an eye on his outline, she wished she could see what this lion looked like. She closed her eyes for a listening to what was going on around her before nodding toward him. "It's a lovely day isn't it?" She asked as she glanced at him a friendly smile was still on her face.

He stared at the goddess, too shocked to say anything for a long, long moment. Was this his hope? Had it finally come? "Ah--I--" he said, stumbling over his words like a cub meeting his first stranger. "My name is Shibasa," he said. "And I'm not sure, but I think I was sent here to find you."
Oh yeah, the cynical voice in his head said, that was really smooth. As if you didn't already have enough problems with one goddess, now you're about to get involved with another? No, Shibasa, the best thing you can do right now is turn your a** around and head out as fast as you can!

But Abla wasn't effected by the tones around she was a general sweet lioness. She had built up tolerance over the years for grumpy lions. She really could put up with many, many lions she could also put up with many attitudes, and she got a lot. She chuckled a bit at the lion's reaction to what she was saying. She spread her wings a little more before smiling at the male. "It's nice to meet you Shibasa." She chuckled slightly and then flicked her tail around hearing the small chain clank that was around her tail. She moved her head letting her hair move as she moved her head.
She looked at the male, noting his own wing marking and such. She then chuckled a little bit before nodding at the male. "I think you might have been." She laughed a little bit once more then smiled at him. "Is there something wrong young one?" She asked curiously as she looked at the male. There could be only one reason that the male that would be looking for her, or for that matter there had to be a reason she ran into him. There were few times she ran into some one else and they didn't need her for one reason or another.

He looked at her, wondering what she would demand in return for helping him, or if she could help him at all. Then he realized, shockingly, that if he asked her to help him it could cause problems between the two goddesses.
Somehow he didn't want to cause troubles for this one. This one-- He looked away, up at the mountains for a long time. "You know," he started out slowly. "I'm not a very good guy. In fact, I don't really blame them for kicking me out of the pride a few years back. I had a... thing for one of my father's ladies. I was planning on stealing her from him one day. But the more I look back, the more I wonder if maybe I just wanted her because she was his."

The thing was Abla would never asked anything from some one she was trying to help, she wasn't like that, she didn't like to do that, that was for sure. She watched him carefully, sitting back on her haunches relaxing and trying to make it look like he could relax himself. She didn't want him to feel threatened in some way.
"Really?" She chuckled slightly and shook her head. "That doesn't make you a bad guy." She smiled slightly as she looked up at the sky thinking, he wasn't as bad as her own father that was for sure, or at least from what she was hearing for sure. "It really could be worse." She said simply then flicked her hair out of her eyes. "Even if that is so jealously happens."

"Yeah," he said, "yeah it does. So does idiocy, but it doesn't make it any better." A little, bittersweet smile pulled at his lips as he looked at her. "Truth is, I don't even remember her name. I probably hadn't talked to her more than twice. It's stupid to imagine yourself in love with someone you don't even know."
He sat, his tail wrapping around his legs. "What are you the goddess of, anyway?" he asked curiously. "I've met one before, y'know. She was a lot... bigger than you." To say the least.

Abla smiled slightly and chuckled she stretched out laying on her belly and flicking her tail around she shook her head and then looked at the male. "If you were a bad lion you would be causing trouble instead of talking to me. Trouble makers normally avoid gods." She shook her said before flicking her hair out of her eyes, her long hair was always hard to manage but she figured out how to do it after a while. "Love is a interesting thing." She thought to herself, it was the truth, it was in fact a very interesting thing she had to admit.
She closed her eyes before opening them once more taking a moment to enjoy the darkness behind her eyes instead of the bright white outlines she normally had to put up with. She let out a small yawn before laughing softly. "Most are bigger then me." She smiled at the idea. "I'm a small goddess in general." She looked at the male, she was bigger then the male but to too much bigger then him, just big enough to notice the difference. She smiled at the male. "I am the goddess of Hardships, It is really nice to meet you."

Surprisingly, once he blinked off the surprise, Shibasa started to laugh. It was a quiet chuckle at first, one that grew into a full belly laugh, making him fall over on his side like a cub with amusement.
"Oh man," he said, a bit breathless. "Are you serious?" he started laughing more, completely out of character for him. "Holy s**t, I can't believe that the second goddess I run into--"
He couldn't even finish the sentence, he was so busy laughing. "My... entire... ******** LIFE is irony!" he announced. "This is TOO good!"

Alba arched a brow at him, she was very confused on what he was talking about the laughter is something that she normally wasn't used to something that she was hearing. She looked at the male chuckling a little bit she flicked her tail around before cocking her head for a moment. "What are you laughing at if you don't mind me asking, or for that matter what you are talking about. She wasn't the Goddess of insanity nor did she know her she didn't know how to handle reactions like this.

"Because," he said, calming down, "I got screwed over by the goddess of greed for being a little greedy. Who knows how well and truly screwed I'll be for having hardships?" he seemed oddly cheerful, as if something had snapped in his mind. "I've got a lot more hardships than I do greed, I'll tell you that. But if you want my soul, it's too late. I've already lost that," he exaggerated. Technically it had only been a small part of it.
"Or would you rather have something else? My first born? Far as I can tell I haven't had that yet!"

Abla shook her head as she listened to the male in fact she couldn't help but to start giggling herself, she stood up and walked closer to the male before sitting down in front of him. "I don't do that." She laughed before glancing in a direction that she heard a foot step in, it was just a mouse. She moved her head to look back at the male's outline. "Well... I could but that is only if you make me very angry." she smiled softly before glancing at him agian. "You know talking about your hardships could make you feel a lot better." She smiled getnyl it was very true for the many that talked to her.

"I tried that," he admitted with a slight frown. "It only made me realize how much of an idiot I am. Why don't you tell me how you get to be the goddess of hardships, instead? Were you born that way?"
He laid down, feeling oddly comfortable in this situation. And he was honestly interested. Was being born the goddess of hardships an automatic ticket for a hard life? He didn't really get the god thing at all.

Abla looked a the male and then flicked her tail around a few times, she was thinking herself as she watched the male. She couldn't help but to wonder herself, she wasn't really that sure herself. "I'm pretty sure that I was born like it." She made a small face as she started thinking. "I'm not really that sure." She laughed a little bit before shrugging. "I like to help people more then harm them. I was told that I make people feel better about their hardships and make them feel like they can talk but I'm not that sure." she laughed slightly she really wasn't that sure.

He looked at her. "Yeah," he said finally. "Yeah, you are." Even if it didn't solve his problem, he did feel a bit better. "Do you know many other gods or goddesses?" he asked abruptly. "You ever met a lady named Ubuge?"
Even if he didn't want to drag her into his problem, she might have an idea of how he could get his soul back. Gods couldn't be all powerful, right? There had to be a way to get around it...
